Great, clean, quaint place to stay with a covered deck outside our room. Friendly staff, warm and inviting. Would stay again for sure.

Old style, homey, simple, comfortable room, only marred by no light switch next to bed for bedside reading. TV required 2 remotes, no big deal, and bathroom could use a place for personal items like a small mounted tray or stand.
Continental breakfast was not cookie cutter like commercial places, but homemade goodies.

Mark was very helpful from start to finish. Gave us some great suggestions on where to go, what to do and what to eat. Very friendly. Super cute inn and very cozy. Loved it. Would come back again!

Stacey and Mark are wonderful hosts at this delightful B & B. They made wonderful suggestions for our dinner and local attractions.
Homemade banana bread and GF coffee cakes added to the fine breakfast.
We loved it!

Cornwall Inn and Lodge was a gem! We were visiting my cousin and found the Inn to be a lovely spot in a special part of Conn. Mark and Stacey are great hosts and the buffet breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.

A very nice Inn. I was here on business so it was not really geared toward my needs. It would be nicer for a vacationing customer.

Very nice place, clean and cozy. Highly recommended. Homemade break for breakfast is the best.

Unethical people unworthy of your patronage.
I booked a mid-week stay several months in advance. Then, I was sent by my employer to China for a month, arriving home 5 days before my scheduled reservation. I cancelled immediately my reservation, providing 5 days notice, but was nonetheless charged. I sent an email explaining the situation. They did not respond. I called them and was told they wouldn't refund the charge. I disputed the bill with my credit card company. They lied in their response, stating I never explained the situation and that I cancelled with only two days notice. Their cancellation policy may be legal, but their actions and behavior fall short of the ethics of a respectable business.

Very pretty area. Inn was nice, breakfast was lovely and the coffee was excellent! Linens were very nice.
The AC was off (unplugged) in the main check in area and it was very warm. AC in room did not work very well and was very loud.

My family and I had a great time staying at Cornwall Inn and Lodge! The venue is very quaint and very clean - has a great New England atmosphere. It is located close to Kent Falls State Park and also to downtown Kent, where there are several good restaurants. We were able to explore Litchfield, Goshen, Cornwall, Sharon, and other nearby towns quite easily from their central location right on Route 7. The owners are very polite and welcome. Would highly recommend staying here for a nice getaway!

Very cozy and clean room, the shower was great, so was breakfast, and Mark, one of the owners was so friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay if you’re a birder too. The backyard is filled with them!

Charming Inn located minutes from Mohawk Mountain. Late check in was a breeze with my keys and check-in information waiting for me.

We will definitely stay again when we return.

Never having stayed here before, my wife and I didn't know what to expect. We were met at the door by incredibly friendly and welcoming owner, Mark. Our first impression was a quaint and comfortable inn. After checking in, Mark gave us our key and showed us the large, well appointed breakfast area for the next morning. Our second floor room was good sized, clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Overall we liked our stay. Only problem is, it's on a super busy street and it's loud traffic. The floors make alot of noise when you walk on them so if you have a night owl neighbor you wake up alot. Stacey was super nice and accommodating!!

In the area for IMSA race at Lime Rock Park. Was greeted by Mark who gave info on the Inn including breakfast options. Room was clean and serviced with new towels, trash taken out each day. Mark gave helpful information about area including directions to track and restaurants in the area. Great host.

The inn was marked as pet friendly so we thought we would have no issues with a service dog. Unfortunately we didn’t read the small print on Expedia which noted that animals are confined to an annex of the property.
When we arrived late due to a dark, rainy journey (perhaps we should have called ahead but we were not aware that 10pm was late) we were met by an extremely agitated and irate innkeeper as we were “late arriving” and the only room remaining was not “intended for dogs”. He cited other guests allergies, despite our assurance that our service dog was a hypoallergenic breed, due to our own family allergies. His tone and manner was aggressive and the whole family was extremely intimidated by his behavior.
He then stated he would have to charge us an additional $50 for allowing the dog in a “non-dog” room. And additionally he stated that the dog would not be allowed in the breakfast room in the morning. I again mentioned that the dog was a service animal but he said that didn’t matter.
We went to the room and frankly it took us all a while to come to terms with the treatment we received. If it had not been for the fact that we were in the countryside, we would have looked for different accommodation.
At this point my cell phone rang and it was the innkeeper calling to apologize for his behavior and saying he would remove the $50 charge.
There is so much more we could say negatively about this experience, including the room
furnishings.
