Our room never got cleaned .

You don't come to Koh Rong expecting 5-star luxury and its a lovely low-key back-packers essential, I did expect a little bit more for paying a little bit more however. Love the setting, not bothered by the hill, but the units need a refurb and really good clean.

It was ok .the hotel is for a young person as the hill was a bit of a climb..the place was clean and the staff where friendly..

Had a great time staying at this place.
Was met at the pier by a kid on a moped who brought our luggage up the hill.
Make sure you organise this because I don’t think it would be much fun having to drag your cases along the beach and up the hill under the heat of the midday sun!!

The Japanese restaurant next door serves good food and is worth eating at if you don’t feel like trekking down the hill and back up again.
Our bungalow was a bit further up the hill and had plenty of shade.
I don’t think I’d like to be in the front bungalows that seemed to be in complete sunlight for the whole day

The owner was very helpful (use Facebook to contact the property, neither emails nor through Expedia worked), going down to the jetty to pick us up. As stated by others, the property is a little ways uphill so travellers not in good shape or with lots of luggage have to be warned

The location is very good at Koh Rong, the garden very well taken care of and the WiFi impressive. The bungalow was quite nice, not as the pictures would show, but the general state at Koh Rong is pretty worn. Don't expect complete sea view, but definitely adequate view with a good balcony and its pretty quiet. There's a lot of reviews stating the the rooms are pretty hot during the day, especially under the 1-5 short powercuts during the day on my visit. And yes it is, the room consists of windows on 3 sides and are located on an island in South East Asia - that must be expected. I had a 4 days stay here, and the room was cleaned once, since I've stayed other places at Koh Rong, this is the standard. I would stay there again. With a bit of maintenance work, these bungalows could be state of the art, but are allready above the general state at Koh Rong.

Private bungalow with glass walls on a paradise island? Sign me up! Everything was pretty great about the room itself (God bless the air conditioning!), but it turns into a sauna during the day, when you leave it with the air con turned off. Just make sure that you spend the first 30min on your terrace while the room is cooling down.
Other than that? Just outside the village, quiet and slightly hidden from the parties. Beach just in front of the path, bars and restaurants already 50m away, the atmosphere of Koh Rong present everywhere :)

Got attacked by bed bugs in the room. Extremely annoying!!! In agony and had to decontaminate all my belongings. Nightmare stuff!

AC awesome, restaurant not open but killer food just bellow room (monkey ?) off the beach enough that noise was not a issue. Great shower, bed was good

The rooms are nice and clean. I did not like the frosted bathroom walls, it is not private enough when traveling with friends. The 80 meters hike up the hill was brutal with luggage and the heat. This should be stated on the website. Also, the hotel not being on the beach, was a bummer, and there was so much vegetation the beach was not visible, and horizon was barely there too.

Nice bungalows with balcony and a great view. Its a bit of a walk from the pier but well worth it. Rooms have air conditioner, wifi, tea/coffee maker, safe, bath & shower. The property is owned and ran by a cambodian family who are excellent. Would definately recommend this peaceful property ☺☺☺

Location is near the beach but not right at the beach that it's too noisy. Room condition is excellent in comparison with the other places in Koh Rong's main Koh touch beach.

We enjoyed the hot shower, and the air conditioning, but our bed was rock hard. Our view was good and the glass walls were near but the beds were so hard. The towels were thin and the did I mention that the bed was rock hard. The hotel is fairly close to the pier and then up hill...so the location is okay...lots of restaurants near by. We would not stay again...only because we didn't sleep well, but if you like really firm beds...the hot water is great.

The bungalows are better than most around it. They are on a steep hill but it's not too bad(5 mins walk). They do provide a porter to pick up your luggage from the pier but there was a mix up in ours so we had to drag our luggage on the sand as there are no roads. I was happy with no geckos and insects in our rooms as it is a conman problem with other bungalows.
The bungalows are nice which could further benefit if they are maintained well. For eg. our bathroom tap had very low pressure. The water from the shower just stand and had to be cleaned.

The bungalows are very nice with glass walls looking out to your deck and the sea. The air con worked great and we had hot water in the shower and tub. I'm planning another trip to Koh Rong and will stay here again. It does have a steep climb up from the beach but well worth the hike up.

I had a lovely time at "Ocean View Bungalows" on Koh Rong, unlike many other placers on the island the power worked all day, the wifi speed was strong and the rooms had hot water. A little out of the main bar area of koh rong, means the bungalows are quiet so getting sleep isn’t an issue. The bungalows are surrounded by large glass windows what gives a great view of the surrounding area and the air-con was very effective in keeping the room cool.
