Not a 3 stars hotel. Old furniture, depressing room.
Despite good location in downtown Sofia, very disapointing hotel.
Breakfast was served underground, just wanted to get out of the place.

Older hotel. Good location. Good service. Rooms are older and may have been smoked in.

Efficiently run like a business hotel, but smaller and with a slightly boutiquey ambiance.
Very happy with my stay here. Large, clean, well maintained room.
Wasn't expecting much from breakfast given the cost of the room but was pleasantly surprised.
The location is fantastic, 5 mins walk from the main shopping/eating/drinking street in Sophia.

We stayed because they allowed pets and had parking. The room was in need of update but was clean. The parking was a small lot around the corner with a lot of cars. We had to leave our key as cars would have to be moved to let others in and out. Typical of parking lots in small areas. Hotel was a 1k walk from most of the sites which for us was fine. The breakfast was small but filling with scrambled eggs, cereals and juice drink and coffee. Overall we would stay there again, it’s a good deal for the price.

A first time week long stay in Sofia, which we enjoyed. The hotel is very central and easily reached from 2 underground stations and several bus stops to get from and to the airport. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly and speak good English. Rooms are very clean and toiletries provided. The power massaging showers in the en-suite bathrooms are bliss.
At first, the hotel had overbooked and wanted us to stay in a twin room instead of 2 singles (they phoned to tell us this). However, upon arriving at the hotel, they had a cancellation, so our booking was honoured (2 single rooms - one was twin, but both very large rooms). Air conditioning in rooms was great as the temperature was 21C in October!
The breakfast was very basic buffet style - but was OK.
Request to replace light bulbs were carried out - the staff were great.
But the staff seem to recommend taxis to the airport (cheap by UK standards 15 to 25 lev (£7.50 to £12.50) but when you realise the bus stop is only 5 mins walk with VERY regular buses (numbers 84 and 184 both go to terminals 1 and 2) or the metro goes to terminal 2 for 1.60 lev (80pence) it is a no brainer to ignore hotel staff advice and save money as public transport is excellent (compared to the UK). Take a bus trip to Plovdiv from the bus station (14 lev each way) - a lovely city and definitely worth visiting.
