Staff were great, rooms are a good size. Furniture dates back 40 years and is waaaay overdue a refurbishment.

THis was my second stay. This time I had a walk in shower instead of over the bath...... winning. I was away from the Hwy noise...... winning. Last time room service was amazing, hot and fast; this time it took the kitchen an hour to tell me they couldn't make my order so I had a burger instead (another 20mins) It was tasty but the fries on the side were cold and nasty. I did receive an apology and a couple of ciders.... nice. I will keep coming back but hope the kitchen has its act together next visit.

I remember when this was a top motel. My room seemed like it was dragged out of moth balls to be used. Continually running cistern broken power point in the bathroom and only one glass.

The pool looked good, everything else looked like it hadn’t had money spent on it for more than 20 years.
The Shower broke, faulty locks on doors, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, a dial radio from the 70’s, cabinetry past it’s serviceable lifespan, etc.
The staff were trying their hardest, but it looked like they had no support or investment in training.
I won’t be back.

Great dinner at the restaurant.
But no milk in the bar fridge and I called the next morning to ask for some and there still wasn't any when I got back from work.

Set in a quiet location with friendly staff..however a little run down and the sliding door doesnt shut properly and had trouble with sticking keys a little concerning.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, parking was excellent, close to the room and did not involve stairs. The pool was excellent.

Could literally hear the person in the next room having a shower. Inly 2 power outlets, one behind the tv and the other in the corner beside the third bed, too far away for any practical use.

Looked like tgey had tried to renew carpet and cupboards. Could see old carpet under new carpet and frodge was just thrown into cupboard . It was very untidy for the price we paid.

I've stayed three times now and I am greeted by the lovely staff as a recognised regular, which makes a stay so much easier when you're away for something potentially stressful.

The powerpoint in the bathroom was broken and a double powerpoint behind the TV did not work. The ceiling light in the entry area could not be turned off, and there was no ceiling light in the main area???. the whole room was in need of an urgent renovation

Would like to see some plates, a bowls and cutlery for self-catering. Also, kettle has a dirty element in it. A lounge would be good. Bed big, but a little on
the uncomfortable side.

Staff is absolutely lovely and overall it is a good quality motel. This was my second stay and I'll be coming back again. Only comment for this stay is that each room should have as many extra blankets as there are beds as we ended up having to sleep with the heater on higher than we would have if there had been an extra blanket for both beds, but that's just a detail and doesn't detract from an otherwise pleasant enough motel experience.

The property is undergoing a complete makeover. The reception area and adjoining restaurant and bar are immaculate and the hallways to the rooms have been repainted and carpeted and also look lovely. However, the rooms (at least our room) was very dated and a bit grotty, as is the rather uninviting pool area. But, the staff were lovely, the restaurant was magnificent (servings were large) and is located pretty much close to everything - would definitely return, even more so when renovations are complete.

Staff friendly. Restaurant has adequate meal offers. Room very dark with poor lighting. Hotel is really ready for an update. Reasonably priced considering shortcomings.

When entering the room, was greeted by a small cockroach, then found a hand towel was dirty but folded, clearly there was no quality check, carpet was not thoroughly vacuumed. below expectation, will not stay again
