It was an average motel. Nothing special. But it was available and a place to sleep. In a decent area.

Looks like the house keeping staff is trying hard, but the maintenance and capital expense team is not holding up their end. Dingy, moldy odor. Peeling wall paper. This place really made me question life decisions that led me to this point.

Our stay at the Economy Lodge was good. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It was also very quiet for sleeping. My only negative comment was there were no instructions in the room to get the Tv to work and they never gave us the password for wifi.

Check in was hospitable. Room clean. Bed comfortable. No hot water. Exterior property poor.

I purposely booked a place with a pool because i was going to be here for 3 days..Pool looked like it was last used in 1973... my room smelled of cat pee...dogs next dog barked all night

Room was not clean, hair around the sink, and on floor in bathroom, hair dryer did not work, water tray full under freezer in refrigerator, bedspreads stained and blood on one of them. Carpet not vacuumed, found tie pin between beds. We stayed here once for the past 3 years because of the price, staff very accommodating but sorry to say will not stay here again.

This motel has a 6 rating - it should be 1 or less. First, cleanliness was deplorable. Room was supposedly a no smoking room - wreaked badly. 2nd sheets were disgusting, even showed the owners the pillow sheet that looked like someone walked on it with their work boots. 3rd the bathroom sink was in bad condition and the towels were no better than the sheets - wouldn't use them on my dog! 4th - when asked to change the sheets, we were met with attitude from the owner. This for $150 (it was a busy weekend for Brimfield Fair and they took full advantage) ??? BTW - the pool? It was not open, hasn't been for some time. The WiFi - you'd be better off using TomTom drums for communication. We went to our appointment, left early so we could make the 3hr drive home - arrived home at 1am. There was no one in the office to alert of our decision and the owners decided to decline our request for refund because we didn't tell them we were leaving...Nice work, I am confident this review will cost you more than a 1 night stay in your poorly kept, and over rated establishment!

It was advertised WiFi!! A pool! They did NOT have WiFi I had to cancel meeting’s. The pool has not been in use for years! The house keeping staff was very nice.

The room needs to be cleaned better floors were not cleaned and doors were dirty and bathroom was dirty and clothes from another person was left in the room

It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and all of the staff members were very friendly. The only down side was that the ac wasn't on when we arrived and it took a good 2 hours for the room to be a bearable temperature. We hung out in the car until it cooled down a bit. On really hot days I'd recommend calling ahead and asking them to turn it on ahead of time to.

Staff was friendly and professional. One drawback- cell phone and wifi service was terrible.

Other than the many flies it was a nice and affordable place to stay

Would have been ok for the money if any effort was put in to keep the rooms clean and sanitary. As is, the price was way too high for the poor quality level of the room.

Hotel has dead mice in their rooms! Room stunk when we first opened the door, then I saw the dead mouse. When I called the “front desk” I explained to them what it was and he was acting like I was crazy!! Besides the dead mouse, it was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in my entire life.

First walked into the bathroom and there was a huge turd in the toilet. Gross and disgusting

We found ourselves suddenly without reservations & not only were these people accommodating but also let us check in early since we got rained out with no place to go for several hours until check-in time. Room was immaculate, comfortable, & quiet. Felt more like being home than on the road for work. Will definately stay here any time we're in this area (actually already booked again) DEFINATRLY BETTER THAN The local chain hotel that we usually use! They on the other hand DID NOT get a good review!!!

The staff here were very nice, especially one of the cleaning staff that I met during checkout. However, there were bugs in the room (not bedbugs, thankfully), in the heater, and in the bathroom. There were spider webs all over near the doors and heater, and the floor was pretty dirty. The chain locks on the doors were missing, but you could tell that they had been there at one point. I ended up putting the drying rack against the door so it would fall over in case anyone opened the door. The hot water also did not work well, and neither did the heat.

check in was easy, he was a very pleasant man. room was basic, but clean. hot water came quicky. I shopped around and this was the best price, happy to see it was not a dive.i would stay there again

I’m not one to leave reviews, but this place was beyond disgusting. Upon checking in, I checked my bed and there was hair and what appeared to be pubic hair on the bed sheets. I went to the office and requested a new room. I was provided a new room. Upon going to that room, I checked the bed and there was hair on that bed as well. It is apparent cleanliness is not a priority at this hotel. I went back to the office again. The employee working the desk was polite and apologetic. I requested to cancel my reservation and the employee stated that was fine and advised me I had to contact hotels.com. I contacted hotels.com and was advised I cannot be refunded for the room. Hotels.com apparently contacted the hotel, we refused to wave the fee for canceling and me getting a refund. I was told to call back again the next day to attempt a refund again. I highly recommend seeking alternative accommodations. I’m very disappointed in both the hotel and hotels.com with this experience.

Close to Monson, where I was working. However, the room was not clean and smelled of mildew. The shower wall had some pink slime on it for the whole three days. The floor had not been vacuumed and there was hair stuck to the bathroom walls. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Very nice atmosphere, the manager and people who works there veru helpful and friendly. I was thre for 2 nights for a friend wedding and the location was vey good for my needs

Our room was quiet and clean. All rooms are on the first floor and have parking right in front of the entry door. The staff is very customer oriented and works hard to provide friendly service. My only disappointment was that the coffee pot in the room stopped working and was immediately replaced, unfortunately, by one that leaked. The Economy Lodge is located close to Brimfield and is a great place to stay while the antique fair is on. The bottom line is that I will stay here again the next time we go to the Brimfield Antique Fair.

Large room with fridge and microwave, king size bed, USB power sockets which a lot of modern places don't have. But a bit shabby, and mis- matched. A repair in the bathroom was incomplete, the A/c was a very old unit, though it worked OK. Pool had been emptied (this was labor day weekend), but had a layer of dark green water, so imagine the insects would have been bad. Not to be confused with the Econo Lodge a mile nearer the highway. I would stay there again for its v close access to the lake.

No pool. They advertise a pool. Very, very disappointed! Other than that, you get what you pay for.

Nice place. Clean. Only issue is there is carpeting in the rooms. I prefer rooms without carpet as the carpet makes dust.

The owners were very nice, however, the room was really dirty. We checked in at 10pm after driving most of the day, and I knew we took the last double/double room. My bath towel had stains all over it - some of them looked like grease, or maybe mascara. All of the towels and washcloths were threadbare and had seen better days. The sink had 2 long hairs in it, and the beds/sheets were not clean. We had 2 doubles and my son ended up sleeping in my bed b/c his was gross. Numerous hairs in the bed, as well as something that looked like the remains of a bug were in it. My bed had only 1 hair in it, so I plucked it off and we slept together. Got up at 5am just to move on. Wish I had picked a more expensive place to stay.
