This place was AMAZING!! Perfect for a weekend getaway in the country hills of Tuscany! The views and landscape made it all worth it. I wish more dining options were available. But staff was very helpful and greeted me well! 10/10

This hotel has the most amazing stuff. Best view of the Tuscany county side. The food was affordable and the best breakfast I had in Italy.

Amazing stay. We did the wine tasting and it was so informative. Also went for a walk with the guide who told us all about the area around the hotel. Lovely place and great staff.

Excellent stay at Salvadonica. Great service, brilliant food and drink, immaculately clean, stunning views and would definitely return!

What an amazing place, the views and sunset are just stunning. The unique layout and how they used the old farm buildings to create this hotel/ resort is neat. The cooking class was an added bonus we enjoyed.

Just an amazing hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and directed us to good spots/restaurants. Rooms are just beautiful as is the whole property. They screen old movies at night outside. Highly recommended. one of these hotels you can’t wait to come back to.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful property, felt newly renovated but retained that rustic feel of a Tuscan Villa. The grounds are scenic and the daily breakfast is great. The on-site restaurant has wonderful cuisine. Staff are also helpful and friendly. Lots of wineries, great food spots and hilltop villages are within a 30 minute drive. Would stay here again.

Salvadonica was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Italy - you can’t beat the beauty and luxury of this sprawling property nestled in the hills of Tuscany. There is plenty to do at the hotel (great food, wine, olive oil tastings, pool, hiking) and it is close to several small towns with their own hidden attractions and picturesque charm. Only a 45 minute drive from Florence, we will definitely be back for a longer stay and to use this as a base to explore more of Tuscany.

Beautiful place! Your eyes will thank you for staying here. Our room was small but cozy. Bed was comfortable, room was clean.
The staff were very polite and gave us good recommendations for good places to visit.
Overall a beautiful place with very relaxing vibes.

We had a great stay at Salvadonica and would definitely visit there again. The hotel views are breathtaking! The staff were all so friendly, and really went out their way to recommend local wineries and help with transport. The restaurant food was delicious, especially breakfast where there was such a variety and it all tasted so fresh.

The location in the Tuscan countryside is breathtaking, with picturesque views all over the property.
We stayed for 4 nights, relaxing by the pool and exploring the area. You could use it as a base to explore the many wineries in the region too.
Food was great, with plenty of options at the on site restaurant as well as an impressive inclusive breakfast.
The staff were all lovely, providing exceptional service and going out of their way to help however they could.

Beautiful property on vineyard. We enjoyed walking the property and views outside. The only disappointment we had was in our dinner at the restaurant where we ordered the 1/2 chidken and were told that we would have to wait maybe 25-30 min. For it. When it came—it was terribly small, and tough to chew. We did not eat dinner there again, but breakfast was nice enough.

It was amazing. We loved staying at the Salvadonica and I would stay there again. The dinner was only so-so and breakfast was pretty good. The eggs were sometimes cold but the pastries were delicious. I will recommend staying here for family and friends wanting to go to this area, but dinner should be eaten somewhere else as it was not worth the price.

The setting of the property was so beautiful but unfortunately on our first night there was a very loud party that we could clearly hear from our room until past midnight. When we complained, the manager said there was nothing they could do since the party was at a neighboring property. She gave a qualified apology but refused to offer us any discount or compensation for late of sleep our first night. Terrible customer service.

AC had a heavy leak the first night, requested room change which the hotel did not accommodate, they promised to fix the unit next day, which never happened. All they responded was “im sorry” . Extremely rude customer service. There is no reason why any guest should experience a mediocre stay at this type of hotel. We booked for 5 nights and had a really bad experience. Avoid staying here.

The hotel was generally excellent, very clean, friendly and helpful staff and great facilities - such as the pool. The restaurant serves delicious food and made it convenient for getting dinner in the evening and not having to venture too far.

It was fine. But when we arrived our room had no toilet paper, ash tray was full of used cigarettes. Water was not working (including sink in room) front desk seemed irritated we called to ask about it. In this case a good hotel would provide guests with some bottled water for room since there wasn’t even water to wash hands in bathroom.... Site says winery on site with wine tours available. This is not true, we could not do a tour as we needed to book prior and they don’t do tours in Friday’s etc. site says horseback riding on site but again not true, need to arrange with another company and could not do until the next evening which was too late.Got a bottle of wine and they didn’t even bring snacks out with it (very standard in Italy but not at this place). It’s the small things like this that set a great place apart from an average one. It’s a pretty place but customer service needs to step up if they wish to charge what they do

An incredible experience. Location beyond beautiful and accommodation to a very high standard. The restaurant food was the best we ate during our whole stay in Italy & was reasonably priced. We loved the wine tasting - Leonardo was very knowledgeable & passionate and it was a brilliant experience. We would so highly recommend and would love to come back.
The bus from Florence to Salvadonica was fairly straight forward although you need to be organised and check bus times as it doesn't go very regularly. For returning back to Florence the bus wasn't an option for us - either leaves very early (6am) or late afternoon - and I don't think it is all that reliable, however the staff were very helpful in organising us a taxi (they also offered a private transfer if you wanted). Taxi from Salvadonica to Florence Airport was 90 euro.

Nice surroundings. Very expensive for the quality of the room.

We were so happy to find this hotel for our Tuscany vacation. We enjoy the wine yarn and the view by the hotel. The room is quiet, modern and very clean. Perfect for all generations. Classic with modern twist. Great view best to the pool. Friendly staffs and great food. Will stay here again when we come back.
