Room was spacey and very clean. Had a coffee maker but no coffee😂. The balcony faces the street and sun wakes you up early but I love a sun alarm. Street noise at night on the balcony not so bad but it starts early in the morning which I don’t like. Expect a sales speech

Clean, the staff was amazing and helpful and I enjoyed myself

The property itself and the room were very good, and might even rate four stars. The exception is the fourth floor where we were first located (the fifth floor has the same problem). The room balcony faces the busiest and noisiest street in the Dominican Republic; it was impossible to use. After repeated requests and two nights we were moved to the third floor, which was much quieter and had a very pleasant balcony overlooking the back garden. The room was more than adequate. The staff service, however, was non-existent by design. Hotel staff never once entered or cleaned the room (we stayed 10 days). When I asked for clean towels I was referred to the desk; they informed me that for $5 US we could have the original towels replaced by clean ones. I refused. It was by any measure, one-star-hotel service. The management of this hotel is cheap beyond compare, and are turning a first class place into a beggarly bother, apparently trying to save a few bucks by not providing their customers with services that even roadside motels provide without question. What a shame and a wasted opportunity.

We were unaware that our room would not be cleaned unless we paid extra. We were given two towles for 3 nights and had to remove our trash on our own.

While we reserved a garden view, we were given a terribly loud road facing room. We did get garden view after raising our disgust. No housekeeping of any kind without additional costs. Would never ever stay there again.

Customer's service very awful! Their demeanor not welcome, uncomfortable. Checked out early after a staff unlocked and came into my room, even though I called aloud to wait! I am not dress, her response was, doing resport, nonsense ! Room occupied..Invade our privacy. Room very spacious and clean but that changed when I saw a roach on night table. Upon checking out, admin staff halt my taxi to check room inventory, really!!! No one want anything to steal.. they charged 15US to changed bedding and suply towel, clean room..unheard of! I would not recommend and ofcourse my last visit.

The property is super conveniently located. We Neverr had hot water during the four days just like warm. On day 2 I called the dont desk…..no one showed up. Wasn’t the biggest deal since it’s hot out in DR but still. I told them on checkout….not much of a response. I would stay there again…..beautiful accommodation

I had issues contacting the hotel since it was an international call. Not sure if it was bc of the international call I was having issues but even when I reached someone I was disconnected or they hung up on me so it was frustrating as it took a while to evn get a human every time I called. The short period of time I did speak to someone (less than ~10m) my carrier had charged me $54. I wish there was a toll free contact or another way to communicate with them. I called to confirm my booking and they told me they couldn't find it so I found myself going back n forth btwn Expedia and them. Expedia was able to confirm for me they have my booking so I called them back to confirm myself and they were then telling me they were finally booking my reservation after I had booked it over a month prior on Expedia. Fast-forward when I get there to check in they told me they couldn't find my reservation. At this point I am irate. They eventually find it but I shouldn't have to deal with that after all the confirmation efforts I made. Not the first time booking on Expedia so it sounds like the resorts fault. My stay was about 3 days. There were some things I wasn't accustom to when I got there. They mentioned I wld only get 1 room key and no additional towels and if I requested any more I would be charged. So the policies were slightly different from my expectations. Other than that, my room was nice. There was a bit of grime on the faucet and shower handle. Cleanliness could be improved

I booked 2 rooms back in 2018 and then booked 10 rooms in 2019. It was such a great ALL INCLUSIVE Resort, especially the pool side snack bar!!!
Now its only the room and access to the pool. They offer food packages but we refused to pay $20 per person for eggs, toast and a cup of coffee. We walked for about 5 mins to a nearby spot and purchased pancakes, scrambled eggs with toast, Avocado toast with a bowl of fruits and two cups of coffee for only $16!!!
I may return because we really like the accommodations (room was spacious and clean) but maybe admin will understand that they will continue to lose money if they don’t atleast include breakfast.
Oh another downside was the noise from the traffic outside especially the motorcycles.

They make you pay for everything! E.g. house keeping is NOT included and costs you 15$. Worst thing is that you have to pay 25$ for visitors even they wont use their hotel services/facilities at all. And at checkout they force you to wait until the room has been inspected, never experienced anything like this!!
Furthermore teh traffic is so loud, had to sleep all week with ear plugs.

The rooms and pool are modern, look good, are clean, staff are friendly.
However there are many problems.
There is something unfriendly about the place which has no reflection on the staff on the ground, they force you to wear a silly bracelet for the duration of your stay and basically fine you if you remove it, there is a long list of other things you can also be fined for. This bracelet thing might be normal for an all inclusive hotel where the lazy customers do not leave the hotel however I like an active holiday and dont like a bracelet that screams I am a silly tourist please mug me.
On the first morning we were pressured into a silly time wasting tour of the hotel which purpose was to sell things, it was very difficult to get out of and was very odd, the guide even sat with us for some of our breakfast.
The biggest problem is the noise inside the room, the fool that designed the place has us walking to the room in a hallway open to a very busy road meaning that the only thing between the bedroom and the road noise is a normal door, if you are a light sleeper this will not work for you as vehicles are very loud here. I imagine the architect designed the place working in an office in a city far away and spent no time on site before, during or after construction.
The bedroom is very poorly soundproofed and the bathroom has no extractor fan but a strange vent in the wall which means you can hear a lot of uncomfortable toilet, shower and sexual noises from the neighbour

The staff was very nice and the room clean and more spacious than it looks in pictures.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Presidential Suites, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. The level of mismanagement and the way they treated their guests was absolutely unacceptable.
First and foremost, the check-in process was a nightmare. The front desk staff seemed completely disorganized and uninterested in providing any kind of service. Expedia pictures show rooms on the beach, then when you get there they try to place you on a different hotel building on the back of the property.
Then when you expect to get the room cleaned every day or so, it came to light that the guest has to pay $15 to get the sheets changed.
If you have anybody that wants to stop by to visit you for an hour, they need to carry an ID and leave it at the reception. Then sign 3 pages of documentation and finally they make you go to the reception too to sign those 3 pages too. So inconvenient and non sense….
Overall, my experience at the Presidential Suites was a complete letdown. It is clear that the management of this hotel has neglected their responsibilities in providing a satisfactory experience for their guests. I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere for accommodation. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and choose a hotel that values their guests and provides the level of service and comfort that is expected.

It is advertised as a Hotel yet no room service. I paid for 3 full board plans they gave me half board bracelets they told me only members can have full board also did not inform me that I could have paid extra for room service when I checked in. The staff was friendly but either unprepared or uninformed. For what I was charged I was expecting a lot more.

The location of the hotel is great but there’s a lot of street noise . At check in they charged us $US30 /night for an upgrade even if the hotel was empty and they had plenty of rooms unoccupied. And at check out they charged me $5 for a wine opener that was supposedly in the room and we never used. It was bittersweet to leave this way.

I think they should close this resort.Breakfast was good but the lunch and dinner horrible 😬😬 we had some kind of Parmesan chicken-absolutely disgusting and for dinner fish super old and smelling. They have this service-you have to pay to change the towels.Very noisy hotel, too much traffic, the toilets next to the bed ..no ventilation in the washroom 😚😚😚.I don’t think we will go back ever.

I had a balcony with an ocean view. It was beautiful! I walked to the grocery store; it was close and convenient. When you arrive check the room for any issues and take pictures. Before you can check out they have someone look over the room and if anything is broken or missing you have to pay for it before you are permitted to check out. I was fine... I took pictures (before and after). My friend, however, did not and was charged for something that was broken when she arrived.
This was my 2nd time at this property. I would go back.

Presidential Suites Lifestyles in Caberete is clean, safe, comfortable rooms with balconies. It is right on the beach so it is assessible to beach activities, beach restaurants and night life .

The good:
Amazing rooms. Jr bedroom suite is huge with a great bathroom and lounge area, tiny balcony.
Great beachside pool. Quiet side of Cabarete, but 3 min walk to tons of restaurants on the beach
The bad:
It's a timeshare and they will make you listen to a 1 hr presentation and talk circles around you to get your money (read reviews). You get a free bfast and you can tell them you aren't interested and they will back off after a bit.
The ugly:
I called ahead and asked for early check-in. They said this was allowed for early flights. I arrived at 10 am and they said you can check in at 10:30. I waited 35 min and went back up and they started to check us in. They gave us bracelets for the pool and said you can have your room at 3pm. In my book, that's not checking in. They claimed they didn't have rooms ready, but when pressed, said we could buy a room. Shady. My other friend was coming in at 3 am and I triple-checked that she would be able to get in. They showed me her envelope with her name on it and key inside. Sure enough, the front desk calls me at 4am because they said they don't have any record of my friend having a room, even though its in the system. I go downstairs and they find the envelope and we check her in. Then 4 hrs later, they call my room and wake me again to invite me to breakfast for the timeshare pitch. It's bad enough that the street noise is hard to sleep with but the front desk waking you up twice in 1 night for no good reason is -1 star each.

Very nicely appointed rooms (with coffee maker), very clean and fresh. Responsive nice staff. Great beachfront pool. Lots of security. No shampoo/cond/body lotion, tissue or coffee supplied. No paper cups, only single use plastic cups offered . Extra noisy on main road beside speed bump. Charged us for a broken glass. Costs to exchange dirty towels. Can't drink tap water, and they only supply one plastic water bottle per person.

It was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I could not get room service WITHOUT PAYING A FEE nor could I get any fresh towels WITHOUT PAYING A FEE!
absolutely horrible! Not my first stay there, so obviously I like the property, but I will NOT return!

This was my second time stay at this property. I loved it both times and cannot wait to return. The property is clean and the staff is lovely. It feels very safe and security is around 24/7. Restaurants are all walkable along the beach. It is very quiet and calm at the resort. The bar service at the pool is slow (island time). The room has a full kitchen and the grocery store Janet’s is an easy walk from the hotel.

Very nice accommodations, the section I stayed in was overlooking the pool and ocean, super gym facility, professionalism in staff, great location to walk to main beach/restaurant area.

We had booked a garden view room but our balcony overlooked a very busy and noisy street. The pool snack and food restaurant was not open the entire week. Housekeeping services, including towel refresh were only available for an additional fee. The room itself was nice and clean and comfortable. Of the three restaurants advertised, only one was open at a given time. The only ice machine available was on the opposite side of the building, across the street, and down 3 flights.
3.0
I liked the cleanliness, wash clothes and soap were provided, the oceanside pool and restaurant had a fantastic view of the ocean and easy access to it.
To have the room cleaned was $20 canadian. Coffee machine in the room but no coffee, so bring your own. Fridge kept things cold.
My room was opposite the ocean side above the main street. It was very noisy, even with the patio door closed.
