It was quiet. Though the stained and seemingly un-cleaned carpet was really off-putting. My husband wouldn’t even walk around in bare feet. If you’re going to promote being pet friendly, perhaps consider lino or tiled flooring.

Hard mattresses on beds.
Lovely native gardens though.

The motel was clean and tidy. Check-in was easy. Owner (Dave & Will Molloy) were very welcoming. Recommend to anyone passing through the area.

The motel and facilities appear quite dated but are clean and reasonably well maintained. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The motel section is far enough away from the highway so that noise is not a problem. The only real negative was that there was only cutlery and crockery for two in a room for four. Overall the Wagon Wheel is good value for money and conveniently close to town for an overnight stopover.

I booked a room through Expedia. When I arrived after 12 hours in the car. I was asked to fill in paperwork, then was asked how much I paid. I was then advised that was too cheap you can stay but you need to pay more money. When I refused and told them to cancel the booking, they said I needed to cancel. But the booking was non cancelation. Dodgy people

Basic accomodation for basic price. Nice trees/grassed area around units. Unfortunately a motorbike woke me at 6 am firing up his machine, but not owners fault.

Although the property is on the highway, it is remarkably quiet. Depending on if you like to walk or not, the location is about 1km from the main shops. I found it quite a nice walk. There is no housekeeping during the stay (which was only 3 days) which was not an issue for us. The room had a small fridge and a microwave. Waking up to the birds singing in the tree close by was wonderful. I would definately stay there again

This is a budget / basic property. It was more than adequate for our stay - sufficient room, lovely pool and close enough to town and attractions.

Great property to stay at. It was awesome as we had a truck and there was plenty of parking. Rooms a little outdated but still super clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Clean, safe area. Ammenities and beds are spotless the property was clean no rubbish and super quiet, owners were super friendly:)

Property was convenient and it was good having seperate bedrooms. It was cheap also which was good. Heating worked well. However, the cabins are very dated and tired and in need of a lot of work to bring them up to date.
