I honestly was expecting a half clean room or worse based on the immediate look, but was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was! No dust, no ring around the toilet and fresh bedding. They can definitely use a remodel, but everything else was great. Awesome staff as well! Would absolutely stay again!

Im not a fussy person when it comes to decor. Budget friendly usually means old and a bit run-down so I had no problem with the looks - however the smell was a huge problem. There must be a mold issue or something - the room smelled terrible! There were obvious signs of water damage in the ceiling and this is why I suspect mold as the root cause of the smell. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was fantastic. I couldn't wait to leave and leave that smell behind though!

They did not clear snow from the parking lot.
It was very dangerous moving to and from the vehicle.

Place is old, but located close to the old town of Helena. If you recognize that its low price, I think its a great deal.

The location is great to walk the gulch area with all its shops, restaurants and stores. The hotel had multiple men standing outside smoking. It didn’t feel safe. You get what you pay for. The woman who checked us in was great. No one was there at check out.

It’s a Budget Inn. It’s a bit worm & dated BUT it’s clean & safe and worth the money - staff polite and welcoming. 3rd or 4th time we’ve stayed here

I thought it was great for the price. The air conditioner didn't keep up the day it was really hot and the toilet water kept running, but overall I would stay here again. We were there three nights.

For one night it was fine.

Everyone there was on so many drugs and there were literal drug deals in the parking lot in broad daylight. It was disgusting. Didn’t even end up staying there and I felt so unsafe and gross.

Property gave the opportunity to walk around and experience down town. Management was extremely friendly and price very reasonable for the area.

I stayed one night. Room was quiet. Area around the motel appeared to be safe and quiet. The room was dark (not enough lamps or overhead lights). The rug was dark, needs changed. The bathroom needed work. No stoppers for the sink or tub. The cold water handle for the sink spins around 360 degrees; you get to guess where ‘off’ is. And my pet peeve, the bathroom exhaust fan is ganged to the light switch, no way to turn the fan off if you want light in the bathroom. The fan was a pre-WWII model, sounded like a propeller plane taking off. However, the room was not expensive, so it’s a good value in a very expensive (in August) town.

The property and its amenities were good to very good.

The motel is older but the room was clean and comfortable.

We booked this property at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised at how convenient it was, inexpensive for a quick overnight, and clean. Definitely a "motel" feel, but we have no complaints. The staff was very friendly and helpful - even called to let us know how to get checked in if the office was closed when we arrived. We would stay again if we needed a place to sleep while traveling.

Ok for an overnight stop. Definitely a budget motel. No hair blower or extra blanket. Bed was comfortable.

Room was hot even with air conditioner on but otherwise in good shape and clean

The place was pretty good actually. I think the housekeepping left a dirty toel on the door from a previous guest. The room was very hot. Tobe honest the day was unusually hot, but the ac should have been going.

I loved the frint desk attendant Jo. Our vehicle broke down while on a road trip and she was so welcoming. We only stayed one night but as she saw me tge next morning she asked if our vehicle was now ok and offered us some coffee before we left. She was great to talk tp. The reception area is quaint and smells so great with whatever scents they use.

Had to change rooms when I arrived because mine had stuff on the sheets and the fridge was warm and wet. The next room had one bed that was more clean, but I was surprised at the state of these rooms with the high ratings it got. Staff were nice. Good laundry room. At least a mile from food and grocery store unless all you want is a bar.

it has the cutest little lobby. I could smell smoke from other guests that were smoking outside.

Great spot for safe, clean, economical lodging. Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable

Stayed for 2 nights. Excellent downtown location. All amenities nearby.

Nice on the outside but old and run down on the inside. Not sure how on earth it gets such high ratings on Expedia which is what made me choose this place. They seem to cater to creepy construction workers and long term renters giving one a sense of not feeling safe staying here.

When you have indigent people sleeping outside your door in sleeping bags you get just alittle concerned. Fights breaking out. Police and ambulance arriving at midnight to the facility. It just raises alittle concern.

A little outdated, could use some freshening up.

Very happy with this motel. Friendly staff, coffee served in the morning, it is cute how they decorated the common spaces. Laundry room was great. Basic room but comfy and clean. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Nothing bad to say, would come back again.

Nothing really bad to say but it’s what I expected for the price paid. Bed was comfy, AC worked, didn’t hear the neighbors.

Clean but very rundown.

Nice and comfy little spot right in the middle of Downtown Helena!

Location is great. The room was over furnished dated but the bed was comfortable and clean.

The place is older but was clean. Some of the issues in room (rip in curtain, mildew around tub, pealing paint) are more of a need for renovation and not a reflection of cleanliness. It does look older but the lobby is lovely with local crafts for sale and they offer coffee etc. good value for the lower price but be aware that there are a number of homeless on the street and a medical place for homeless across the road from entrance. They do have nice shops and eateries just north of the hotel so go figure, it's similar to many cities downtown areas.

Check-in was pleasant. The office certainly was decorated quite artistically and smelled nice. Check in person was professional but reserved. Decent room for the price. Right down the block from some interesting trendy restaurants and coffee houses. As mentioned in other reviews there are people living in the streets close by congregating. But they were not aggressive and kept to themselves.

Honestly, this hotel is trying to get things and the area cleaned up best they can. I don't think we should judge a book by its cover. Overall, my Son and I had a pleasant stay . The room was clean and comfortable.
