This place was less than 10 minutes walk from the station and an easy streetcar ride to the Peace Park. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and our room was comfortable, if rather small! The nightshirts were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed the selection at the breakfast buffet, with a nice range of Japanese and Western choices.

The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate an early check in, just by luck. The room was comfortable and clean, albeit a little small. The hotel was walking distance from the main station and it was easy enough to get around to the main sights of Hiroshima.

The room was relatively large compared to other hotels that I stayed at in Japan. The hotel was beside a lovely riverside park. And the staff upgraded my room.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hiroshima JR station, so be prepared if you are hauling your luggage to the hotel from the station. The location is great if you are going to Miyajima via JR. You will need to take the bus if heading to the Atomic Bomb Museum or the main shopping area of the city. There is a Family Mart 1 minute away from the hotel. Spacious lobby. Room size was ok but the bathroom was dated. Breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and western menu items but it would be better if some selections changed from day to day.

The Royal Park Hotel is only five minutes’ walk from Hiroshima Station and quietly situated by a river. My room comes with a beautiful river view and a bathroom with a view. The hotel is quiet and beautifully decorated with the Showa-period style, impeccable and elegant.

Room was small but comfortable! Hotel is in a great condition and a really convenient location, not far from Hiroshima station. Great for Shinkansen connections, a trip to Miyajima and only a 20 or so minute walk to the atomic bomb museum. Well recommended.

Once we found our way around this hotel was in a convenient location for our needs. Near the metro & all other stations although to be fair the underground stations are very confusing. Lovely staff, great breakfast with plenty to try but not great if you only eat western style breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for its location & river views.

The room was clean and quiet and the restaurant was nice. The riverside location is wonderful as well. However, we are a family of 4 and there was not enough bedding for us all. There were two king singles and a single. King singles are not big enough for two people, so we had to push them together and I had to sleep half on each. Also one of the USB charging points wasn't working, so we all had to take turns charging from one point.

Only stayed here one night, wish we’d stayed longer! It’s a short walk from Hiroshima Station, they were great about letting us keep our bags there before and after check in. Great location, easy walking or transport distance from the A-dome, parks, museum and castle. We were lucky enough to have a view of the river. Nice big bed. Definitely recommended!

Hotel is locating at very quiet area and little far from drinking district. Close to train station and easy to access to drinking eating districts also Castle and Atomic Bomb heritage area by walking. Staff are well traing, but the room space is a bit smaller but enough to stay. Brakfast under the sky is very good and it's beside the river and walking path, very confortable. I will stya this hotel again, probably.
