It was a clean hotel, albeit very small room, nowhere to sit except on the bed really. There was a space with hangars to put jackets, but nowhere to unpack the rest (no drawers, etc.). There was no common area or drink/food after breakfast. Close to everything though. For us, expensive for what we got, but I suppose decent priced for being very close to Time Square. The staff were very nice.

the room was small (but it's typical for Manhattan) but convenient and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Bed was so comfy and it was really quiet at night tho we slept with windows open. The only thing is that breakfast room was too small and crowded and we didn't have a place to sit.

Every staff I encountered were very professional, kind, and caring. I received all assistance I needed during my 9 days- long business trip and breakfast was very convenient. The hotel was also located 5 minute walk from the Bryant Park so I enjoyed the area as well.

Great location! Great staff (shout out to Adam!) Room was a decent size for NYC. Had an awesome view of Empire State Building. Breakfast was good- just be prepared the breakfast room is super small and busy. For solo mom and teenager daughter travelers, we loved this hotel and will stay again!

It was very clean, the breakfast was good, the location is great and the price was very reasonable. It was the smallest hotel room I have ever had, but the bed was very comfortable and it had what we needed. I would go back and recommend it to my friends.

Perfect location to get to know NYC. Constant refill of the breakfast buffet.

Only small shortages: Disposable cutlery/crockery and One Android smartphone did not accept wifi-connection due to security issues.

Overall our stay was good. Room is adequate,clean. Breakfast ok,pretty much the same everyday so it gets boring quickly.The employee (male) at the breakfast is not very friendly. However the reception staff are very nice.The hotel location is excellent.

The room was small but really well laid out. It was clean and modern. The sink was in the bedroom area which I actually liked for getting ready. However I can see how that may be an issue if there are two people staying and someone goes to the bathroom during the night.
There was a creepy guy that followed me into the hotel and the hotel staff handled the situation wonderfully. I felt very safe here as a solo female traveller.
The hotel was conveniently located. I walked everywhere I went.

Everything was very clean but the rooms are small even for NYC.. overall we would stay again, location is great and quieter than other areas.
The only mention would be the air freshener in the public areas, I have really bad allergies so it was bothersome in the lobby and elevator.

The best hotel!! Shoutout to the gentleman who checked us in and gave us the most amazing room with Empire State Building views. We went on this trip for my partners birthday and it was the cherry on top. The hotel was very clean, no carpet which was a plus. Amazing job by the housekeepers who evidently worked so hard!! Only thing is that I wish the breakfast was atleast until 11am. Nonetheless, Will definitely visit again!

Our stay went great, the security is good in the building. Staff was really nice. Although it was New Year’s Eve and our floor was very noisy all night. Walls were thin. Room was okay in size but was tight by the edge of the bed. Great view of Empire State Building. On-site parking for free. I would stay here again but maybe not on New Year’s Eve just because of traffic and noise levels

We paid an extraordinary amount for the room. That’s on us. The room itself though was beyond tiny: too cramped really for two people. We rented a queen size bed. We got a full mattess probably because the room dimensions can’t accommodate genuine queen size.

The property is actually quite small and because there are renovations being done to the entrance, the property is not actually labeled with its name. We found it by building number only.
Though I can’t complain about lack of cleanliness, per se, the common areas (the front desk, elevators, hallways, dining area) were so strongly scented with “clean linen” air freshener that it was triggering to my daughters migraines. She had to wait outside while I checked us in and we couldn’t take advantage of the continental breakfast because she couldn’t eat in the dining room. That much artificial fragrance always makes me wonder what an establishment is trying to hide. And it is really inconsiderate to a large number of fragrance sensitive guests.

It's clean and everything is within walking distance.
The only thing we didn't like is thw breakfast hrs. From 6 to 9Am. End too early for people on vacation.

It’s difficult to get picked up by an Uber or Lyft near the hotel. It’s not too far of a walk to Rockefeller or Empire State Building. It’s a little bit dirty around this hotel but the hotel makes your stay comfortable and safe.

Really enjoyed my stay at wingate.Great location! It was just a short walk to 34th street and many dining options close by. Staff were amazing especially Adam. Very helpful young man! Very clean hotel with daily housekeeping. Breakfast was good. Many options like eggs, waffles, bagel coffee..juice..sweet treats etc. The hotel staff was very forthcoming with info. Angelina, Fausto and jennifer to name a few always willing to.help and answer any questions about where to go and how to get there 😀

We had a lovely stay, we arrived early and was hoping that we could leave our cases. But one of our rooms was ready, so we were allowed to book in early. Staff were amazing, my husband lost his wallet and they gave us new door cards with new numbers (the wallet was later found).

Quiet location close to key site seeing locations. Staff was friendly. Room was smaller than photos appear, stayed with my 15yo daughter, but two adults would feel very cramped.
