This was a quick overnight stay, bridging between two events in the Toronto area. I was looking for a budget-sensitive overnight option in the approximate vicinity of the Oshawa GO station, and this establishment was well-priced and well-reviewed. It was just fine: the room was clean and well-equipped, the wifi worked, the location (while in a part of Bowmanville I'd never seen before) was very close to the 401, there was plenty of parking (including a spot right outside my door) and I got precisely what I was looking for. Blackout curtains would be a nice touch, though: there's a bright light in the parking lot (which is appreciated, of course) but it shone right into my room and the venetian blinds did not block it out.

Upon checking in, we were greeted with a warm smile and amazing customer service! This cute Inn (hotel) has been recently renovated and I noticed all the little details that truly elevated our stay… the fluffiest of towels (extras tucked away in the closet), comfy linens that smelt of fabric softener like at home (not heavy bleach smell like most traditional hotels), new fridge & microwave in the room, etc.. They were so sweet in knowing we were to be checking in a little late that evening, so they had turned the heat up a touch since it as a cooler rainy day so when we walked into our room it was warm which was a lovely added touch All these little details were above & beyond, and I would very much stay here again if visiting Bowmanville (Oshawa - 15 mins away) Fabulous staff and charming / cozy room! This property was very very clean and newly renovated. I was very very impressed with the cleanliness! It’s located somewhere quiet and you’re on the water. Good value for the price! There is no ice machine !! That’s all I can say bad about it! Outside of that I would stay here again and again !

Room was warm, comfortable and clean. Location- we couldn’t see anywhere nearby to get any food or drink but had brought our own. There’s a fridge and microwave in the room. The lady who checked us in was friendly.

Motel on the outside, hotel inside the room. The pillows and towels were nice. Slept well too. Last but not least, we were able to self check in late with prior arrangements and instructions. My wife and I were on a trip from Ottawa to Niagara and overnighted here, as a halfway. Seems like a place we would come back to !

The room decor and colours are very relaxing, the room is very clean, everything that I need is here The office person who greeted me was very welcoming and kind. I definitely will rebook at this hotel in the future.
