What a pleasant experience, Clean, Quiet, Updated and the Cafe next door is where your free breakfast is eaten and it was great. Thank you Dunes I will stay with you again.

Some sort of weird banging noises at 3 in the morning from a ac or heating unit. Not call back to my room or on my cell to resolve this terrible issue. Never stay there again.

I didn’t like that when my sister went to the restaurant associated with it that she couldn’t get a cup of coffee without the food pass the front desk gave me. The passes were for eggs, meat and toast to be included with the stay. I specifically asked if we could order different things (and pay for them) off the menu and if guests could come order a meal ( and pay for it) and was told they could, so when my sister was told she basically couldn’t come in without the pass, she was upset and so was I. Needless to say, we ate at other restaurants. But the thing that really ticked me off is I got my reservations on Expedia for $104 before taxes, but the motel was advertising rooms for $84 but I was stuck paying $120 a night for rooms that were older and though it had supposedly been remodeled, the plumbing fixtures looked dirty enough that I went and bought comet to reclean the tub and sinks. I chose it for the location, close to Cole Park and downtown where Halloween events were being held, but I’m going to keep looking for a place to stay on my monthly visits to the area.

The price was reasonable and included breakfast.

This 50's era motel is spotless, comfortable, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast options at the adjoining café are delicious.

A classic motel with brick walls and gabled ceilings. Room was nice and cozy. The free sit-down breakfast at the cafe was nice, but the biscuits and gravy had no meat in the gravy, so I would suggest ordering a meat item. There are also great options for dining nearby. Really enjoyed my stay.

The room was clean, the service was friendly, the location was great, and the free breakfast nextdoor had amazing food! The only two things that were downsides were the wifi was choppy so I wouldn't recommend working. The other downside was the temperature of the shower changed frequently and widely. I assumed it was because other people in the building were taking showers as well and that was affecting the shower in our room. We stayed one night so these two cons were not a big deal. Overall for the price, it was great.

Neat, clean room but extremely noisy. Could hear persons in room above chatting and almost completely listen in on their conversation, metal staircase also gave a decent amount of noise when someone traversed it. Staff was friendly and breakfast (in cafe next door, provided complimentary with room) was good.

Staff was very friendly. Convenient to town center and restaurants. Clean. Had refrigerator and microwave in room. Free breakfast. Very reasonably priced, convenient stop on our way to Sand Dunes.

Nice hotel with everything you need. It’s not the fanciest place in the world but it’s nice to be located right in the downtown Alamosa area because of the dining options, plus the staff is super nice. I actually left shoes in my room and checked out. I realized it a day later and called them to see if they had been turned in. Housekeeping kept them safe until I could could back and pick them up a few days later which I really appreciated.

Very cute hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I was disappointed in the fact I booked a room that was supposed to have a queen sized bed and the bed was obviously a full size bed. It was comfortable but squeaked every time you moved. Other than that it was quiet, easy to find and the free breakfast was yummy!! I would stay here again.

Totally worth the price! The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable and they have free breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have vegetarian breakfast options as well. Would definitely recommend this place :)

We were pleasantly surprised that Dunes Inn had all the amenities in spite of the reasonable price. There was free Wi-Fi, a full hot breakfast, refrigerator and microwave. The only item that could be improved would be a more comfortable bed, but otherwise It was excellent.

Excellent location, friendly and professional staff, quiet rooms. We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the historic downtown area and loved the Purple Pig Pizzaria and Pub-try the baked potato pizza! Also an excellent cooperative bookstore and other shops were nearby. The stay included a made to order breakfast at a diner next door and it was excellent.

Small clean room. Updated and neat. No fan in bathroom.some traffic noise but not annoying. Mattress crinkled or made noise with repositioning but otherwise ok. Free breakfast was fine.served quickly after ordering.outside dated but inside cozy.

This is an older property, but is clean and well maintained. The rooms have a lot of character. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Would stay here again when in the area.

The person who welcomed us was an absolute delight! The motel is older, but our room was clean. The beds weren't super comfortable, but what I would expect for the price. The breakfast was really nice. They have a voucher for the cafe next door, and you get to pick from a small list of options. The food was real (not powdered eggs). Overall we had a good experience.

Older property, but very clean. Nice to have a great Mexican food restaurant right across the street, and good breakfast (included with your stay) right next door to the office! Also in walking distance to numerous shops on the same street!

Hotel was a bit dated but the beds, bedding and tv were updated. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The best part was the breakfast from the café that was included with our stay. We would stay here again.

Great service at check in, very friendly. Having a fresh cooked breakfast provided as opposed to a stale buffet was great! Room and grounds were clean and well maintained. I liked that the ice machine was in its own room so as not to bother other guests early in the morning. The only thing that needs improvement is the pillows, very flat and not comfortable; luckily i had my own in the car. Overall a very nice stay!

Hotel room was not up to date as others have stated. Towels had stains and holes in them. The sheets didn’t look they were changed. Pillow case had stains also. On a good note, they did you give a voucher for breakfast next door which was very good. On more thing, they didn’t let me know they were not coming in to straighten out, which is ok but should have let me know about that.
