We stayed 4 nights in a spacious room with a king bed. Our room and bathroom were spotless and the towels and linen great. The shower and toiletries were lovely.It was nice to be able to open our window and have a view of the park opposite. The manager was excellent and even found me a hairdrier as there wasn't one in the room. He also gave us wine glasses to use and there was bottled water. The only negative was we had to carry our cases up the stairs and a box of tissues would have been appreciated.
We had 3 lovely meals in the restaurant downstairs and the position of the hotel was brilliant, very close to shopping and cafes.

Well I booked last minute, I'm glad I got the park view service through to the room. Was outstanding.
Newly renovated, the bed was comfortable and on top of a great pub. Wish I stayed for a few more nights.

Very friendly helpful staff. Suggested great places to eat and made my just 18yo son feel confident to order at the bar. It was a really nice stay.

my only complaint is the bed was extremely soft for my liking and there was no hairdryer. Would I stay again - YES!!

Easy check in, large refurnished room, quiet, very comfortable bed, fridge did not work very well. Food in restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced. In centre of town. Would recommend.

Great property to stay at. The building was lovely . The renovations have brought it to be modern but have maintained the character of the past. The room was great with comfy beds . The food options were fantastic and beer garden lively. Only draw back was a bit of noise late at night but that is what you get staying at a pub. Highly recommend and we will be back for another stay .

The staff were amazing and warming. The meals in the Bistro were well priced and great value for money. Room was excellent bathroom is new and well maintained. Bed was so soft!! Would recommend to everyone.

Updated quiet spacious very clean rooms. Comfortable mattress. Thick supersiized towels.Pub had good food at decent prices. Guest hallway like another sitting room with access to dining balcony overlooking lovely beer garden.
Dislikes are minor: no hairdryer; tv remote buttons wete difficult to use; no guest parking, street parking can get busy with pub patrons, and as a renovated Victorian building, access to guest rooms is via stairs only. If youre ok with 1 flight of stairs, the effort is worth the stay.

Spacious room, clean tidy and comfortable. Good food downstairs. Unfortunately the air conditioner didn’t work, no opening windows, some where over 29 degrees ( max showing on controller) when we arrived, dropped to 25 by first light, not very pleasant.

It was clean and modern and quiet mostly. Only issue I had was the room faced a brick wall and there was no ability to open the window for fresh air. The air conditioner had to be on all the time and it struggled to get to a temperature ok for sleeping. I found it quite claustrophobic. Next time I will ask for a room that opens and has a view outside. I will definitely stay there again.

Good meals,beers were reasonable quality and beers well priced . Wines overpriced for the quality.
Accommodation was good with comfortable bed and very clean.
Some improved soundproofing on the door may help.

We were surprised and impressed by every aspect of the Parkview Hotel. Although this appears on the web as budget accom in a pub, our three night stay was excellent. Big room, comfy bed, renovated bathroom, excellent guest-only facilities and spaces, quiet, good food at good prices, great service. To sum up, exceptional value. Why would you stay anywhere else?

Great room for the price, especially with a bathroom that had newer fittings. Great feed in the bistro downstairs. Reasonable pricing and a steak that was as good as I've ever had!

Hidden gem . Excellent value . Worried about pub noise but this was not a problem as minimal . Room clean and not cramped shower fantastic. Definitely will stay again . Recommend andrecommend

Stayed at this hotel during the Bathurst 1000 race in October. We stayed in the family room which looked out over the beer garden. The room was large and clean. Bathroom was clean and had good water pressure in the shower.
The location in Orange was excellent, right in the center of town near restaurants, coffee shops and other pubs. The meals at the restaurant were very good.
People staying here need to accept that it's a popular pub with a beer garden on weekends. Therefore, is noisy and has live music on the Friday when we stayed until about 11.30pm.
