The room we were assigned to had the elevator behind it and it had a banging noise every time it lands on the floor. This prevented me from having a good sleep.

The stay was good. Nice size room and fairly clean. Kitchen was not fully stocked. Missing utensils, paper towels etc. Bathroom was fairly clean I noticed hair in the shower. None of had taken a shower yet. So did some mini cleaning. How the bathroom is set up makes no sense. Ex when you shut the door to the shower and toilet there is no light switch or fan. In order to turn the light on you have to turn on the light where the sink is located. Imagine having to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and disturb everyone with the super bright light over the sink. Iv never seen a set up like that. Continental breakfast was good. Overall customer service was really good. Elevators need some fine tunning. Location is nice. But Beware you have to pay for parking! Did not know until I saw my final bill. On website it says parking available so i didnt assume that I had to pay $15 a night.

The stay was lovely, in every respect, except........ Our only complaint was that, at check-in, the lady at the front desk didn't tell us that there was a parking garage. She stated we could park "anywhere out front." The garage is much more convenient.Fortunately we discovered it, and parked there. Since she could see that I have mobility issues, I think she should have told us about the garage.

Our large room was well-appointed. The bed was a little firm for me, otherwise, everything was lovely, including the kitchen with a full-sized dishwasher and a large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. I want to always stay at Homewood Suites, if all of them are this nice.

The staff was super friendly. Our room was clean. The only issue we had was the beds killed both my husband and my backs. My kids were unbothered by them though. Other than that, it was all great.

In the morning, while still asleep, two unknown men opened our room door. They immediately apologized and left, but I was bewildered by what had happened. They weren't room service or cleaning staff; they were just adult men wearing casual clothes similar to workout attire. When I inquired at the front desk, they only found it odd as it wasn't a universal key, but couldn't explain why it happened. Also, during check-in, breakfast was stated to be from 7-10 AM, but that was for weekends; on Monday mornings, it ended at 9 AM. Not knowing this, when I went around 9:10 AM, I missed breakfast. It seems like safety issues need further improvement, and customers should be provided with more detailed information regarding hotel operations."

Great for single-travelers, you feel safe, employees greet you and are very helpful. If you have any questions they are happy to help. Breakfast was amazing, from fresh waffles with eggs and sassage to a simple toast with cream cheese. Rooms are very clean, no complaints. 10/10 I would stay here again. Good for families.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property feels new and was very clean. They clean your suite every other day which is sufficient enough for me. We got to enjoy the complimentary breakfast which has a decent variety every morning. The earlier you go to the buffet, the better. If you go the last 30 minutes of the buffet, just don't expect everything to be fully stocked. There is a parking fee here which they just raised to $15 per night, but you will find that at just about all the hotels. The area seemed to be very nice and not too far from shopping at the Irvine Spectrum which is a very nice place to shop. The location of the hotel puts you about 30-40 miles from the popular attractions of Los Angeles which depending on the day and time of day can be stretched due to traffic. We went during the week of Christmas and I think the longest it took us to get back to the hotel from downtown LA was about an hour and a half, other than that you can get there in about 45 minutes if you avoid heavy traffic times. It is about a 30-minute drive to the Disney parks. I would definitely stay here again, it is just as pictured.

The breakfast lady never brings out the bagels! Why is that? There are limited vegetarian options for breakfast as it is. There wasn't even any fruit. And housekeeping does not regularly check the shower gel attached to the shower wall.

Really great hotel. Clean rooms, great breakfast, and friendly staff. Due to a holiday visit, there was an issue with a delay in housecleaning one night, and despite it being past most housekeeping staff being there, someone came and cleaned our room which proved their staff goes above and beyond the service level I have experienced at most hotels. Definitely would return to this hotel again.

Enjoyed our stay at Homewood in Lake Forest. The rooms are comfy and spacious. Really made use of the full size refrigerator and the spacious room layout. Comfortable and clean.

The in room thermostat could not be adjusted from the room & had to call the front desk to have maintenance go to the basement to adjust the room temperature. Seems very unwise. Foul odor was emitted from the shower drain.
