This was a perfect hotel for our several nights in London. The 1-bedroom unit was roomy & well furnished. The service from reception staff was excellent. They also serviced the food & beverage area & were excellent concierges for arranging cabs, giving directions & instructing on tube & train operations. The location is also great-restaurants & essential stores right next door.

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms were just perfect with every detail considered. It was lovely to have a lounge and kitchen area in addition to the bedroom, especially at such a great price.
The rooms overlooked Russel Square gardens, so location was perfect also.

Clean hotel
Well located near metro, British museum and St Pancrass.
Very limited breakfast offer, no buffet.
We decided to go eat outside

Lovely stay at the Morton Hotel, very large comfortable room and luxury bathroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was fairly quiet for London, so slept well. The entrance to the hotel initially confusing, as the door is to the side and it’s a push button to gain access until you get a card, but I would stay there again. Thank you

Room very clean. No access from street to coffee/bar area. Felt it was only a room off a street

Lovely historical hotel. Friendly staff and very clean. Looked after our luggage before check in. Would stay again.

Everything was very clean and there was always someone that was helpful and solved any problems that we had

Room was filled with dust upon arrival. The room was also very small and there was no heating in the bathroom floors. Service desk was not very helpful when asking for two separate comforters. We were told they had no extra and we had to sleep with a double. Upon leaving the hotel overcharged me by 258 pounds. Please beware and check your bank account when you leave! Would recommend you find another hotel.

Everything was perfect! Especially, the receptionist was really helpful! I definitely want to stay this comfy hotel again!

Very nice hotel, surprisingly quiet given its busy location. Room was small but comfortable. They kindly allowed me early check-in, much appreciated given my morning flight arrival in London. Location is terrific, Russell Square tube station is just around the corner (as is Russell Square!). My only gripe was the slightly mystifying process of getting access to the hotel from the street when you first arrive. Nothing complicated, but door is locked and there are no instructions for entry. Push the button on the right and hope someone is available to ring you in! Once you are checked in your room card gives entry.

Excellent hotel in a great location. I downloaded the Shackle app so I was able to check in/out, pay and use my phone as a room key. Amazing! So easy. Room was really well decorated and very clean. Worth the money. I’d use this hotel again, without hesitation.

Loved the location of this hotel. The room was nice and clean with lots of room and was very quiet. It is very close to the tube, a great coffee cart, and an amazing bakery. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This cute boutique hotel is half a block from the Russell Square tube stop, so convenient to that and other mass transit.
The room was clean and most quiet- some sirens - but you are in the city si not a big deal.
I was lucky to be helped by front desk staffer Mimi on my overnight stay. She was SUPER helpful In suggestions for things to do in London, helping me understand the bus system and making sure I was well taken care of when I was in the hotel. Kudos to her hospitality.
As for feedback, I do wish the room had more lighting. With the recessed ceiling lights and I think only one lamp it was dark.
The bathroom was very nice and waterfall showerhead a treat! The place was clean.

We have stayed in the Russell Square area several times, but this was the first time at the Morton. We stayed in one of the larger units with separate bedroom and living room, with a small kitchenette. It was an excellent value: roomy, quiet, and clean. Some of the furniture was a little dated, but that didn't matter. The only problem we had was the absence of light in the kitchenette, which made our rare attempts to use the area rather difficult, requiring use of our phones' flashlights to read appliance labels. The hotel is right up the street from the tube station, making arrival from and departure to Heathrow very easy, and allowing connections to other parts of the city for those who prefer not to walk. All in all, we were very happy with this choice.

Great people on reception, lovely room which was not pokey/small and was nice and warm, excellent location, no complaints.

Conditions of bathroom not good at all due to cracked/broken tiles on floor & in shower

Upon arriving, I notified Morton Hotel that my flight was changed and got in early. I was reminded of the 2pm check in time, which I was aware of. I arrived at like 9am. The receptionist was very helpful and informed me he would try to get me in the first available room. He even gave me a map and showed me places to visit while in London. I left to go explore and came back around 12. There was a different receptionist at the front desk when I returned. I asked about the room update and she said its not available yet. However, I noticed a stack a files on the desk with hotel keys paper clipped to them. I noticed the top file had my name on it. Instead of inquiring, I waited patiently in the lobby. At 1:35pm (13:35), I joked with my partner and stated, “I will make sure to notify my social media followers to not show up early to this hotel.” The new receptionist must have heard me because immediately following my statement, she called me up to hand me the keys that were attached to that file I noticed earlier. I was confused, but I didn’t make it a big issue because I was tired/jet lagged from traveling from Atlanta and I wanted to get to my room to nap. Needless to say, if you are arriving early to London, DO NOT BOOK THE MORTON HOTEL! You will not get a room, unless this only happened to me being a black American man. Now the hotel is a nice boutique hotel, but needs improvement on service. The cleaning folks take forever to clean your room as well.

Excellent location adjacent to Russell Square. Our room had all the amenities although a little small. Housekeeping left the room immaculate each day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The staff were fantastic to work with. I shipped a package to the hotel prior to our arrival which they held until we arrived, and they were happy to point us in the right direction via bus or tube routes to get us going in the mornings. A big thank you to Mimi and the team for being so accommodating and letting my daughter show her the new magic tricks she acquired from Hamley's too. The room was a good size, bathroom generous, and as other reviews stated the windows in the bathroom and bedroom are functional which was great to air the space out. The hotel itself was quiet, not much you can do about street noise but I wouldn't hold that against the hotel. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs are also provided. We will stay here again on our next visit.

I don’t want everyone booking this place up but have to be honest and give a rave. I knew it was in a great spot because I knew the area. The great staff, clean and well decorated common areas, and updated, modern rooms were fantastic and exceeded expectations. Also easy check-out.

Great location. Short walking distance from Euston station, also Covent Garden, theatre district. Very clean. Room spacious, bed large and extremely comfortable. En-suite large and things like toothbrush, shaving kit etc supplied. Air con wasn’t great but this probably wouldn’t normally be an issue, we could have done with it as outside temperature was in the 30s. Great to have opening windows in both bed room and bathroom for fresh air 😀

Overall is good. Location is very convenience. The sink in room was sucked. No one fix it.

The room we had is well appointed. We asked for a room with twin beds but was messaged back this hotel has no twin beds. What a pleasant surprise when we walked into our room and saw two beds. Slippers were provided

Staying here is convenient, and it’s so nice to relax across the street in Russell Square. The wifi was reliable and my room was quiet. For the price you can’t beat this. What made the stay great was the staff, they were helpful and made me feel comfortable. Thank you.
