Front desk staff are polite and helpful. The only complaint is the parking garage.

Reserved double queen beds but they were not available when we arrived.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Express were very friendly and helpful. I have never been greeted by a more helpful and kind staff. I would return just for them. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

The hotel was fine, parking was a little confusing but the front desk staff helped us figure it out. Breakfast was a joke and that was part of the reason we chose this hotel. Broken pancake maker, sausage gravy but nothing to put it on, literally one bagel available one morning.

To be clear, the staff was great but should have let me know there was no room service. That's on me. Your breakfast was great again with friendly personnel. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Parking was ATROCIOUS and for this reason, we will not return to the city for our accommodations. The city needs revenue so bad that it destroys your business by placing parking meters where they weren't expected. The parking lot was a joke and it was a half mile walk to get to our car. (a locked door with no access, we walked around 2 blocks to get in the garage) We felt safe enough but my husband has mobility issues and the uphill climb was not a simple journey for us. This is my second time staying at your hotel, and it was awesome. As like last time this is my favorite place to stay from now on whenever I come to Milwaukee.

Bathroom was very dirty. Staff was polite and efficient

We reserved the hotel in March for a stay in November. Upon arrival, the person at the desk stated that she had no more rooms with 2 beds available and tried to offer us a room with one bed. I specifically reserved 2 beds due to being on a trip with a friend and we were both not comfortable sleeping in the same bed. The lady at the desk then checked by contacting housekeeping if any rooms were available with 2 beds and they found one. The person mentioned to us that if she was not able to find a bed for us that we could stay at the hotel next door. It is not acceptable that we reserved the room in March and would not have a room available in November. There is a need to train the staff at this hotel to open the rooms on the computer after they had been cleaned so that they show they are available on the front desk computer for guests to check in. We arrived right at check in time.

Check in process was terrible. Associate was rude, unprofessional and didn’t know what she was doing. Was give a room key to a room with other people’s belongings upon arrival. Didn’t care and gave another room that had no tv. No discount was applied. Breakfast next morning had no options. Never staying there again.

My room did not have a TV. The fan system was very poor, and did not work as expected. There was paint lines on the wall. Or room looked like it was under construction.

I enjoyed my stay here which helped me to enjoy my short visit to Milwaukee. Appreciated that I was able to check in early and get my visit started early. Thanks for having me as a guest!! I would stay here again whenever I am in Milwaukee.

A must stay! Everything and everyone was excellent!.

Good value for the price

The rooms were very clean and tidy. This is the second time my kids and I have stayed at this hotel. I will continue to stay here whenever my family stays overnight.

Very modern and stylish. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Nice breakfast.

Close to everything we wanted. Very walkable area. Hotel was extremely clean and the staff was exceptional. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Milwaukee.

Easy access to downtown

Much like other recent reviews, I would agree that this property has problems. The sad thing is they could easily be fixed with some minor love and staffing adjustments. For me, my room of 3 night was dirty when I arrived and remained so my entire stay. Housekeeping never came once. I was never informed if it was by request only or not, but they never came. My deadbolt lock would not latch as the strike plate was misaligned. My air conditioning system did not work and the room never cooled lower that 74 even though it ran 24/7 for 3 days and was set at 68. I thought to have it addressed at various points during my stay but every time I had the opportunity, some other guests was at the front desk complaining about some other issue they were having, so I went on with my day. It might be time for InterContinental Hotels Group to reconsider it's association with this property/owner because they are giving the brand a very bad name.

The whole experience was honestly terrible I come here all the time the ladies were rude when we were checking in cause they were having issues with their system which isn’t my fault then they gave us a dirty room and at 7am they called us being very rude saying that bc their system was down they couldnt charge our card so the manager says go walk somewhere and pull out cash very rude no apology no sorry for your inconvenience and then they didn’t give me a receipt for anything I feel like I was scammed they didn’t want to give my my change for the cash and I had to demand my change after being treated so poorly they wanted to keep my change like no I come here all the time when I’m in the area I promise I’ll never be back

The air conditioning was not working in our room. We were also told our reservation had been canceled and had to interact with the front desk on several occasions to resolve this.

The body wash dispenser was empty. But I really had no other complaint. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were wonderful to interact with.

PROPERTY WAS LOCATED VERY WELL. BRECKFAST WAS POOR. ONLY HAD A COUPLE OF CHOICES . ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED VERY WELL. ONLY HAD THE ROOM CLEANED ONCE OUT OF 3 NIGHT. GOOD LOCATION. THE PROPERTY WAS VERY NEW AND OK.

This was my first stay at Holiday inn. Everything was as expected. Was even able to check inn 1 hour earlier. Front desk was exceptional..

I booked this hotel a month before arriving. I get here and there is a couple in front of me trying to check in who also reserved a room about a month ago. The front desk person told them that they were full and couldnt take them. They explained to her that they reserved a room and paid for it already and that they received a confirmation from the hotel the day before. The desk lady just kept saying they had no rooms and the couple left. So I get up to the desk and have the exact same conversation. They were booked and she told me I would just need to walk to another hotel. I said that I would not be doing that and that I expect to have the room I reserved. Miraculously, she checked and there was magically a room available after some back and forth between the two of us. Why she didn’t tell me that to begin with is beyond me. Additionally, don’t accept reservations, send out confirmations, and then tell your arriving guests they don’t have a room when they arrive. On top of that, two separate guests came up saying the keys they received didn’t work with one person making a comment about how they hotel had given away their room. This whole thing was a total poop show and I am shocked by the rudeness to this hotels guests.

Breakfast, no juice and some days no food or just eggs….

Room smelled like a dog and furniture was dirty. Front desk staff was very friendly and answered questions clearly. Great customer service but beware that other guests pet friendly may mean dog smell.

The hotel was beautiful until we got to our room. The room was dirty, cigarette burns in the carpet on the floor. Stain on the blanket, pillowcase and chase chair in the room. The bathroom shower had hair in it and the floor was filthy.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found they had a refrigerator in the room! I would recommend that you put that in your listing. I almost didn't stay there because of a lack of a refrigerator. I chose it because of the great location
