Everything was nice, but the breakfast. Breakfast was very bad. Options were limited and each one of them were not healthy.

I had planned a one night stay with my daughter-in-law and 4 year-old granddaughter. I was able to check-in with a lovely young lady with no problems. We easily got settled in our room. The accommodations were very nice, and we had a nice view to be able to see the lights. I asked for a late checkout and was given a time of noon, which worked out fine. The only disappointments were first the indoor pool seemed a little stained. The water was heated but not warm enough. My granddaughter enjoyed swimming before bedtime. The only real complaint was with the breakfast. We arrived midway through the serving hours. The room was packed with guests, and all the seating for more than two people was all occupied. There were two available tables that seated two people with very small round tables. We finally found one of those and were able to move a chair to the table. The small table was cramped with 3 of us trying to eat there. The worst problem was that midway through serving hours, they were running out of everything. There were foods that were gone, and they ran out of plastic forks. We inquired at the front desk for more, and they said they were completely out of them. The food was pretty good. However, the only available protein options were a southwestern omelette and sausage links. They were out of yogurt. Scrambled eggs and bacon or ham would have been good. The dining area was very congested and people were using the lobby. The dining area needs to be reconfigured.

Had a great Christmas-time stay with family two children. It is right on Main Street with shopping all around. The staff was great. We needed assistance both days and they were happy to help. Breakfast was really good. They ran out of their delicious sausage gravy on the second day but we got down to breakfast around 9 so it was a little late. The room was very clean and everything worked well. Bathroom was clean and had no issues with hot water. Highly recommend staying here while in Dahlonega. They have two floors of parking. Didn’t know this checking in but we eventually found the basement level lot.

A very pleasant place to stay

The location center of town , perfect for winter lights and is surround by good restaurants.

Getting into parking garage was difficult, the gate would not open and no one would answer the call button. We later discovered that garage was full but we did not know that and also did not know there was another garage on site. Someone finally came out to help. She was very nice and helpful with all of our needs.

Very clean and quite spacious King suite! Staff friendly and helpful with any questions. Breakfast had good variety and was hot, coffee good. Can't say enough positives ref location being literally just steps away from town square. The ONLY thing a bit off was fairly low water pressure at sink for some unk reason. Overall Excellent overnight stay. Tip- theres a great tavern right across the street- great grub & drinks w quite reasonable prices.

This the third time I have stayed at this hotel. The staff are wonderful. The hotel/rooms are very clean. I absolutely love the location to downtown. Once I parked my car in the covered parking I walked everywhere I wanted to go.

Very friendly staff, clean room, very comfy bed. Lobby and breakfast area are not appealing, dated and a bit stark. Breakfast is listed 6:30-9:30, but at 9:00 most foods were gone (both days we were there).

The location was perfect right on the square. Also liked the pool and exercise room, friendly front desk staff, and breakfast.

Great location walk to town square with convenient parking

Wonderful stay. Convenient to everything. Room wasn’t ready and was given a free hot cocoa from a chocolate shop for each member of our party. Fantastic customer service.

Being right downtown was good. did not like how long it took to get hot water in the bathroom.

the hotel was in the square of Dahlonega and walkable to everything! Always felt safe and the morning breakfast covered all appetites. very friendly staff and cleaniness was exceptional. will stay there again definitely.

Fantastic room and super tv

We booked from a 3rd party and on our email from them it said kingbed, but it showed them we had booked a standard room. They didnt have anymore kingbeds to book, but Emma went into rush mode and got one of the manager suites ready for us. She was really sweet and had the best personality of I believe Any hotel receptionist I have ever met. We travel alot looking for that small town charm and she went above and beyond any of our expectations. Every time we came off the elevator or in or out the door she greeted us and she also suggested many places to visit in the area. We will most definitely will return to this hotel and suggest it to all we know, Hopefully we will see Emma again next time. I was just amazed how awesome she was. She treated Holiday Express as if she was the owner. No better employee in my book.

We had a great stay. The hotel is right in downtown Dahlonega son it was so easy to walk right out of the hotel and to all the local shops and eateries. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Our room had a very distinct chemical smell. Even after we left, our clothes smelled like the cleaning agent. It was as if they were trying to cover up a smell. The hotel did not feel like it matched the $450.00 a night price tag.

The hotel was clean. Parking was adequate. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good except the omelets which were slimy for some reason. The staff was friendly and professional.

The hotel is your average hotel for a higher than normal price.

Very clean and nice

Hotel staff was very welcoming at check in, my room seemed to have been cleaned well, and I slept very well. Definitely would recommend to others.

Location is great. Breakfast is great. Everything else was so-so. Hotel is only about a year old. However, it felt older. Room was a little dirty, shower didn't drain well, mold on shower curtain, there was a run in the carpet, only air conditioner is window unit (which is linked to a thermostat in the room). The only A/C vent being against the window meant no A/C in the bathroom. TVs went out in the whole hotel for about an hour Saturday evening during football season. Beds were pretty comfy and room was large. Would probably stay again primarily because of the location. We used to stay at the holiday inn express on the hill just before you come into town. That is now a Comfort Inn. The third (top) floor facing north has the best view in Dahlonega. We might try it again next time, but will probably stay at the Holiday Inn Express downtown just because of the location.

Nice, clean

Very clean/new property. The staff is very friendly and always cleaning. There is a small parking garage attached to the hotel. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay there again.
