My problem so far with this hotel is that 2 weeks after check out, I am yet to receive my refundable deposit. This has never happened with any other hotel I have stayed at. Hotel says maybe it's my bank. I use Capital 1bank and they are always fast with processing transactions. Mind you, there was no incident for which my money should be held up.

Great location and great service. Nice , comfortable rooms although somewhat small. Would return for future travels.

I will stay there again. Great find! Amazing staff and property. Close to everything

Really cool hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Great staff.

Room was the size of a postage stamp but what made it truly awful was the thunderous music that vibrated the room until almost 2am three nights in a row. I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotels with a club scene but this was something else. Would not stay there again for any price.

Hotel was very nice and the staff truly excellent. That said I discounted the mention of noise mentioned in other reviews. A mistake. My room was on the 8th floor. The music was loud until 2 am. But worse was the stomping and what sounded like line dancing going on directly above me. Stay here but DEFINITELY get a room on a lower floor.

The stay started awful from the front desk all the way to an hour after i checked out. Started with they only except certain cards for the resort fee and the damage deposit. The girl at the desk took my card and went off out of my site. Then we get to the room and we are looking at the courtyard which is not what we paid for we paid for a city view room so i went back to the desk and the other girl was nice and looked for the problem and said get your stuff and come back down we will give you another room end of convo then check out this morning dropped key left like normal look at my phone and the final charge was more than expected so i went back and checked they charged me for a room upgrade of which the girl had never said anything about extra charges so if you dont like being ripped off by the hotel then beware of the TOMMIE L.A THEY WILL GET YOU ONE WAY OR ANOTHER

This is a cool hotel - roof pool and roof bar are awesome. Look forward to staying here again next trip to Hollywood.

This is a very cool hotel, it gets very busy in the area around the hotel on the weekends. Just a fyi

This is one of my absolute favorite hotels, whenever I’m in LA I always make sure to stay there.

Decent location, pretty much everything Hollywood is within striking distance and the studios and universal are just a short Uber away. Lovely looking hotel and the rooms are nicely fitted out. The showers do run between too cold and scalding hot though which is very annoying. Same across two rooms on two different floors so must be an issue. Also I stayed on the 8th floor, they do say “we are a nightlife hotel” when you are checking in but of course it’s too late by that point. Music banging out until 12pm weeknights and 2am at weekends really annoying and spoilt my stay tbh. It’s like trying to sleep under a nightclub. They tried to get me a room on a lower floor but couldn’t, if you like to sleep then absolutely insist on that.

Front desk staff were always helpful and friendly. Room was clean with a large TV. For those that sleep light, would request a room on the lower floors as there’s a club with loud music on the roof. I was on the 7th floor abs could clearly hear the music. The lobby was large and welcoming with free morning coffee. Trader Joes 5 min walk away. Mama Shelter adjacent for great food, atmosphere and music

My daughter and a friend of hers stayed there for 5 days mid-week in February and had a nice time. Will definitely book again if we need a room in LA. Hotel is chic and the room was small but clean and comfortable. Only downside is expensive valet parking.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days it was quit loud at night on Friday and Saturday however they do inform you that it is a party hotel. The room is beautiful as well as the rooftop and restaurant downstairs were the highlight of the hotel. We came back to our room after a long day and it was immaculate the care and little details the maid service provided us was exceptional. Thank you Tereza Moreno for making our stay even better.

A little loud on weekends but great if you are staying weekdays. Locations ideal for universal studio or Hollywood sign.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was amazing. However there’s a club at the hotel, right outside, and they play incredibly loud, thumping music until the middle of the night. And we stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday. It’s great if you like to party, but if you need to actually sleep, this is a disclaimer for you.

Absolutely loved our stay at Tommie Hollywood. This was a weekend getaway for my husband and I, and we loved it! Beautiful hotel with very clean and trendy rooms. The room was small - but had everything we needed and was beautifully appointed. We LOVED the rooftop pool area and the bar. We could see the Hollywood sign from the bar area and really enjoyed well crafted cocktails and the best barria tacos and chips and guacamole while watching the sunset and into the night. We had a late brunch at the downstairs restaurant KaTeen the next day and it was amazing as well! We were sad to leave and will definitely be back

I traveled in business and stayed only one night. I used to live in LA so I can tell the area Tommy is located is a bit sketchy but is being gentrified at the same time. The location is convenient.
I would like to mention Jason who checked us in that night- super nice, very accommodating and professional at the same time. Sadly, it is rare to be treated so special:)
The only small complain I have is: my shower head was coming off the wall and the bathroom door kept sliding on me ( I could never keep it open). Other than that- really good hotel. I would recommend it.

Bed and shower was good. Had a steamer for packed fancy clothes. No real desk space or closet though.

The place was nice, great price and the Mexican restaurant was amazing.

Beware the hidden $70 fee that they impose on you at checkout!
The hotel is beautiful, but the constant thumping and loud music from the bar was super annoying and not relaxing in the slightest. The neighborhood is pretty sketch
Definitely not worth the price. I wont be staying there again

The hotel was very clean, had a cool vibe. Was in a great location for sightseeing. Room service for dining was very limited. No refrigerator, microwave or closets --we were there for six nights so that was extremely inconvenient for us. The staff was great and valet service was extremely fantastic, super prompt! Although, it was expensive!! Fun rooftop bar-when available!

There were some flaws to the room such as the stopper not working in the bathroom and some of the outlets not working but overall, the room was beautiful and had a very nice view! I also enjoyed how close to walking distance a lot of attractions were.

Very modern and fun hotel. Hotel lobby is nice and cozy, room was very clean and modern. Small but modern room. Very clean. Bathroom/shower was great! Rooftop bar was a cowboy theme, couldn’t enjoy much due to rainy weather.

The sound of the clubs does carry through to the room, but we were at the club so it didn't bother us.

Tiny noisy rooms. Amenities like breakfast or coffee in rooms nonexistent. Area around hotel filthy and homeless haven.

Beautiful decor, rooms smart design, MC staff friendly and outgoing, great food, walkable neighborhood.

Five couples traveled with me to Hollywood for a 5 day birthday celebration, all staying at the Tommie. Great location two blocks off Hollywood Blvd, and walking distance to some great restaurants (check out Beauty and Essex and Running Goose).Rooms are small, but clean and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. (Shout out to Jade!)
While other reviews had said it was a party hotel and noisy, I did not experience that (my room was on 3rd floor) and heard no noise at night. The rooftop bar is okay....mostly younger crowd and I am not into country music. We went around the block to their sister hotel, the Thompson, for breakfast (the bar opens at 7 AM for bloody marys!) and to hang out in lobby bar for evening happy hour. In between the two hotels, Mama's Shelter had a rooftop bar that we enjoyed more with a slightly older crowd and better music (and volume).
I would definitely stay at the Tommie on future trips!

Nice cozy lobby and good designs. Convenient location.. Valet was expensive and overcharged.

Small room, but clean, with super comfortable bed. Area close to Hollywood Walk of Fame and many restaurants. Rooftop bar lots of fun. Would book this hotel again.
