There were roaches and I requested a refund

Was a nice room but the tub was peeling. Good room for the price

Went here, and they had baby roaches crawling everywhere. In the bathroom and in the walkway. Refused to give me a refund, tried to get us another room. Why would I want another room if the hotel has an infestation 🙄 literally just chucked it up as a lost

They had cockroaches everywhere. Thank God I had my cat with me because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep with them crawling all over the place.

The toilet did not flush. The room was dirty. The hallways were dirty. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.

Room i was in was redone recently so it was clean and fresh, bed was somewhat hard but ok,
The biggest problem i had was not getting extra coffee for the room, but i got it straight the next dayso i am staying extra day,

Our room was dirty. There was mold in the shower. It was a terrible experience.

Nice big room, plenty of space, logical furnishing, full-sized refrigerator-freezer. Spotlessly clean. Sufficient hot water. Clerk went out of her way to get me checked in early. Coffeepot missing from my room's coffee-maker. Bed could have used an extra layer of blanket. A good night's sleep at a good price.

I have stayed here before and keep coming back. Quiet and safe. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Besides having to wake up to the sounds of gunshots right outside my window at 1:30 a.m., inside of the room was nice and clean. The hallway smelled like the carpet was mildewed and looked like it should’ve been replaced a couple years ago.

The exterior locks operated by the card key are iniperable. Anybody can walk into the halls.

I left a review before about the service, condition, cleanliness and noise but here goes again.
Ask for 2extra towels and the man would only give me one. Room was placed between two entrances doors and couldn’t get any sleep from the slamming on the doors.
Hallway smell like pot.
Strains on bed sheets.
We checked out after one sleepless night there, which we booked for 2days.
Got a room somewhere else and don’t get a refund for the night we don’t stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. Seemed newly remodeled. Great room for the price

Did a quick overnight stay on way to Chicago. I have stayed here before in the past and have not had any issues. It looks like a lot of renovations have taken place and the rooms have been updated. Good value for the price. The only thing I could be critical of is their dull choice of wall colors in the rooms (gray & white), but that's just a personal preference. Lots of nearby dining and shopping options.

I was greated when I arrived after 4 PM and was checked in promptly. I was given my key and the rules of no smoking and shown to my room. There was a strange odor in the hallway, I'm not sure what the smell was. It was a mix between marijuana and cleaning product. The room itself was very clean and nice. I didn't have any access to wifi and it didn't even offer as a choice on my device. The charging USB port on both sides of the bed also didn't work but the plugs did so it worked out. About 3:30AM I was awoke by yelling in the hallways and didnt get much sleep after that. I checked out a little before 6.

I should have known better then to book here. the images looked clean, but the place was disgusting. When checking in, the person at the desk stressed that smoking is highly prohibited but the room smelled really bad of smoke, and my clothes even smelled like smoke after leaving. Overall the place was very dingy and there where all sorts of questionable looking people hanging out in the stairwells (both of them). The place did not feel safe. There was dog feces all over the property, and the pool was closed (mid june) which was not a surprise.

The shower curtain rod was not installed. It was just sitting on the sides of the shower. There was mold where it had been installed at one time. The tub drain was partially plugged. The dogs, yes more than one, kept barking anytime someone would walk in the hallway.

I have seen the bad reviews, but you must use context.
This is a low cost, no frills extended stay option for people like myself with few resources.
If you come to Studio/Motel 6 with a good attitude, politeness to staff and felloe guests, gratitude for simple accomodations, and try to help keep the place clean it can be a great experience. If you pay for Motel 6 and demand the Ritz Carlton with a mint on the pillow and a bellhop, you are the problem, not the motel.
Next time, try putting some love into your Motel 6 stay. Smile at the staff and make them feel appreciated. They are human beings doing an unappreciated underpaid job. If you are polite and smile. 8 times out of 10 people return the favor. I loved my stay at Studio 6 and hope to return! Thank you Prakesh, Janie, Eugene and Ramesh! You made me feel at home. ☺ ♥

The hotel was run down and dilapidated. The hallway light fixtures were dalling apart. The heater in my room didnt work and the temperature outside was below freezing. The staff was rude and even the checkout was miserable because the police were there back to back. I would not rebook at this place again.

Dog poop everywhere and manager charged me for two nights then kicked me out after one trying to get me to pay for another night

We stayed on room 303. The sink was cracked and the toilet didn't dlush properly.

Room was very nice

We paid ahead of time, but for some reason, the manager had difficulty checking us in, but eventually succeeded. The room itself was okay. Fortunately, we brought our own silverware, plates, bowls, etc. because none were provided in the room (which we've had at other places that offered kitchenettes). I was confused when they had a coffee maker with no coffee pot. However, we were directed to use the paper coffee cup as the pot which worked fine. When I asked for more coffee, I received loose coffee grounds with no filter, making it unusable in the coffee maker. There was trash in the entrance that was there for two of the three days we were there. The hallway smelled bad. There was no lid on the toilet which made us weary to put our bathroom spray and book on the tank for fear we could accidentally knock them into the bowl. To top things off, we had to run the hot water between 5 and 10 minutes before the water would actually turn hot. Then iwe would run out of hot water about 10-15 minutes later, so with two people showering, both had better be quick.
This was the cheapest hotel around, so I guess you get what you pay for. We were thankful for the full-size refrigerator. We brought back several leftovers over the three days. The stay was tolerable, but if one wants any amenities, I don't recommend Studio 6.

The wifi did not work consistently - very weak signal.

It was a Motel 6. We paid 96 dollars for a 30 dollars room. I should have known better than to think that a Motel 6 would be a decent place to stay. This will not happen again.

So when I arrived I was a little put off by the surroundings of the place it was kind of dirty and slummy looking the gentlemen was locked behind a window there was no place to rest my bags and he wouldn't open the office door so that I could rest my baggage and stuff that I was carrying on a table so that I could sign in and then walking down the hallways and and to my room it was I almost turned around it was pretty just sleazy looking but I got to say overall thing when I got into the room the room itself was clean in the bed was comfortable but I wouldn't stay there again and I would definitely not bring family there the other clientele it was it seemed like they must rent to homeless people or something cuz that's what seemed to be there and it looked like there was no pet policy but at 5:00 in the morning it was a woman with her dogs outside of my room barking and she was you know letting the dogs and when I was leaving at 8:00 she was out there again so I know she was staying there

It was the only motel/hotel with available rooms for the night of stay. It was quick and easy to check-in after booking through Expedia.. The area was nice: I didn’t care to much for the hallways but the room was clean and the staff was helpful.

Do not recommend. People partying outside motel all night. Domestic abuse heard down the hall in early morning hours. While bed linens and towels were laundered, they had clear prior abuse (cigarette burn, some blood, dingy towels, stained pillows).

The room was very comfortable and welcoming.

Expedia charges more than what the motel charges for them this is really bad company to go through.

The pictures are not current. The hotel is dark, covered in CCTV cameras, and the room smells like black mold. Upon arriving you'll be asked for a $50 CASH deposit, which if you don't have you'll go across the street to another hotels ATM to get. You'll be fine staying here, but it's definitely a place you'll be ready to leave first thing in the morning.

They were overbooked, so they only had one room left with no air conditioner. I had already paid for a room in advance. It was 95 degrees in the room, and the window didn't open. Expedia has a problem tracking available rooms, because they showed this hotel had eight rooms available even though they were overbooked.

Never had a chance to stay . I booked with Expedia and when I arrived I was turned around because they were over booked and it was a horrible night for my family. We couldn’t find any other place to stay

Good luck finding the entrance it’s not marked. After driving around the facility and walking into random unlocked doors I found someone to point me to the right direction. Then was put in a room that was 90 degrees and no AC and after further investigation the outlet and electrical. They moved me rooms but the feeling of staying in a hotel that had electrical fire burns up the wall I felt unsafe so I left and contacted hotels.com for a refund. This place should not be open or in operation without a thorough inspection. Pretty sure it’s a halfway house.

the rooms are good and clean- but because of the clientele there - the reception is kept locked and transactions are through a small window
