Was a pleasant stay, room could’ve had better lighting, beds aren’t great as they are a medium firmness so you sink a little giving you back pain in the morning.

Booked this as it was 1/2 mile to Dodger Stadium Turns out is is all uphill- so don’t try to walk it The place was run down with awful spring mattress that sagged
The noise from folks above us was rediculous and we were woken up at 3 am with loud arguments Couldn’t wait to leave

It was. Great . , clean, and very cozy. And the staff are great . Very helpful at the front desk and room service staff are very nice and prompt to help.

I was looking for a clean quiet place that allowed dogs and in general left people alone.
The Royal Pagoda checked all the boxes. Also was relatively convenient and close by major freeways which made getting around Los Angeles very easy.

Everything about the hotel was great. Except the parking. The parking situation is terrible.

This was a great place to stay and parking is available at the hotel. Pretty small lot though so you might want to check in ASAP as there were cars parked in the lot right in front of the doors since the spaces filled up.

Conveniently close to everything.
Only bad thing is my room was in front of the main street & loud people walking by. Otherwise, i really liked this spot

Way better then expected. Loved the room decor

It is okay'd and kinda located in a convenience location. However, my son complaint that there's a lot of noise that waked him up few times in the middle of night.

The hotel is clean and easy to get in and out. Plus it is safe because it locks in and out at 8.00 pm

First place I’ve stayed at that had water bottles waiting for me upon entry. Little details matter and they are not missed. This place is awesome, comfortable, clean, not loud (unless it’s Chinese new year) but even that was a cool experience. No bs solid spot.

The hotel was good for the price. It was clean although there were ants in the bathroom but that can happen anywhere. I wish there were more than one USB outlet and the bed did feel like the springs were coming through but overall it was decent! I was there for 2 nights and it was very quiet which I appreciate because I was very early meetings for work.

Spacious rooms. Quiet accommodations.

This used to be a nice, inexpensive place to crash on my frequent trips.
We saw several homeless people staying at the hotel and were awakened by screaming, fighting and shouting several times during the night. They must be getting vouchers, as we saw staff from LA county coming. While homelessness is sad and we need to do more about it, it does not feel safe to have homeless people fighting in the next room. What do you want to be? A homeless shelter or a hotel?

Not enough parking stalls. No towel bar to hang towels to dry. Not enough padding on bed, I felt the bed springs. Ants crawling on walls.

This is our second time staying here and for good reason. It’s difficult to find a hotel in LA with reviews that don’t mention cockroaches or bed bugs, so to find one that didn’t, is clean, and offers reasonable rates was pure luck! This one checks off the boxes. It’s also in a fairly quiet area, which is good when you need a good night’s rest. My only complaint is that the housekeepers in the morning are a bit on the loud side.

Nice budget hotel. Very clean room, but the smell of bleach was slightly overwhelming. Comfortable beds. We felt secure knowing there was a security guard and a passcode required to enter at night.
Customer service was okay — young staff at front desk could be a little more upbeat and actually greet you.

All was great except that the surrounding area can be loud.

I actually enjoyed staying there for the week-end, but for an extended stay I would stay elsewhere. Other than that, I like it and I appreciate having their neon sign at my window, which I though was cool. There are some nice restaurants in the area and thoroughly enjoyed Cafe Triste, which had the best Braised Brisket I ever had. It's right across the street from the motel which made it convenient for me to not worry about parking. I would recommend the place for a very limited stay, it's very "Kitch" and I think people would enjoy it on that level.

The room we were given was so small that even the closet door wouldn’t close properly because of the bed. Not sure how it can be classified as a double bed. It was so small that that you could only get onto to the bed from one side of the bed and the air conditioning was so bad that it would stop after every 2 minutes for god knows why. I think even the air filter was never changed on that conditioner. The room had no ventilation what so ever to add to that. I checked out from the room after one hour of me try to adjust there but eventually couldn’t because of how bad and dirty everything was. The pictures are no where near to what the reality is in this hotel. Stay away!

Really good property for the price. However, the room had a stingy bleach smell that could throw off many guests.

Water pressure super low,the sound of AC/heater so noisy from other room. The room too less light. I will not come back again.

Right in China town. Very convenient.

free parking, close to Chinatown, easy drive to Medical Center(our destination). On check-in, we got the two bed room we requested. After a short walk, we returned to find a group of people in our room. The staff at the desk said they moved us (and our baggage) to another room. The king bed was fine. The wall art in the room consisted of four women heads, including Queen Eliz with ugly tattooscovering their necks and shoulders.

The property has ants crawling around in the room. The noise from the streets were too loud. The service was horrible. We had to wait 10 minutes for receptionist to come out and open the door for us. I tried calling the motel, but they wouldn’t pick up. Another guest had to let us in. Would not recommend

I love this place? thats a fact. But for the first time ever, the bed frame was metal and made ridiculously loud noises. Maybe its certain beds and units but it was very uncomfortable. Not going to be a bad review but I hope they get it sorted soon.

The reception is were very pleasant, parking is located inside of the hotel and super convenient there are a lot of shops and places you can walk to from the hotel

Small room with updated amenities. Friendly staff and close to Chinatown.

The motel is located in a very safe neighborhood close to restaurants and coffee shops. Room was clean, spacious but it looked outdated. Parking or loud noise was not an issue.

It a awesome place to stay at a reasonable price

The room was adequate, but there were ants in the bathroom. The biggest complaint was the street noise from people out late and our room was next to a bus stop. The people in the room next door partied all night outside our door. Not a repeat stay.
