I loved the location. It is so close to restaurants, breweries, shopping etc. But more importantly was the vibe of the hotel. It has so many cool and relaxing spaces to relax, read a book, have a fireside chat, etc. There's an outdoor sauna and a couple of places to enjoy a fire with big chairs and blankets provided for cooler evenings. It felt like a big rooming house where everyone is very friendly.

Great location. Walking distance to food, breweries, church,etc.
We had a suite . Amazing bathtub, master and living room.
They offer water, bubbly, and orange juice in the 24hr area. They have an espresso machine and cold breakfast in the am.
Depending on when you travel...spring/ summer can get humid and a warm in the room despite a portable air conditioner. Open windows to get air flow. Request a mini fridge, but you can put food in fridge on 1st floor.
Go eat at the Shed...3 blocks away... the breakfast place next door.... no. Awful!
We thought we were visiting a picturesque Bavarian town...nope.. only a few buildings were of that artitechture.

Very convenient to downtown Kimberley. Good value with nice breakfast included. Other activities and spaces included within the hotel but we missed cable tv and the wifi in our room wasn’t working.

The room was not the same one we picked or advertised. The room was small, and had little to no heat most of the stay. You can find other places that are bigger around the same price. Won't be recommending or coming back. Highly disappointing.

I was so impressed. First no extra charge for my pooch! So appreciate this as I’m aware of the potential extra for having to clean after a pet but it was so nice not to have to pay extra.
All the added extras like coffee, tea, juice, bubbly water, cookies and granola bars available all the time. Ample places to sit and be cozy outside the room. The complimentary barrel sauna! The expansive delicious breakfast!! The streaming services! I haven’t stayed in an accommodation this well appointed in such a long time. Staff was helpful and friendly. The locally appointed soaps, love it. I’ll be back and I’ll be telling everyone!! Asa former Kimberley resident I was so happy to have such a great experience in a stay at the Inn! Thanks for the good work and intention to comfort, beauty and pleasure!!

I highly recommend this property. It’s been beautifully renovated and the staff are amazing. The standard rooms are not large but all the little extras make up for that. Fresh cookies, bottled water, juice, buble, coffee, tea and even a milk frother to make a a latte. The beds and pillows are so comfy. A beautiful ambience throughout this small conveniently located gem. We will definitely be back.

Absolute gem of a boutique hotel in downtown Kimberley, walking distance from restaurants and shops. Beautiful and modern with old charm touches.Staff very attentive, This place has thought of everything. Divine breakfast, snack bar always open with things for young and old. Amazing sauna, lots of games and nooks to read books and relax with in front of the fire. Highly recommend this hotel.

Some rooms are quite small but still comfortable. Only downside is the lighting is horrible. So dark even with all the lights on, have to open blinds to get any light.

The hotel was adorable but my bed was quite hard and out of shape. Couldn’t get anything on the tv. Prime wouldn’t work for me. Otherwise, I love the concept and would recommend.

Larix Hotel is a beautiful, family run hotel. Everything about our stay was very good. The family is wonderful and any concerns, questions, etc. were dealt with promptly and cheerfully. The beds were very comfortable, the provision of a snack table for guests, the lounge was lovely with books, comfortable seating, and gas fireplace and the complimentary breakfast was what I liked. I definitely will return!

We love the Larix! We have a been a couple times and will go back. The location is close to the Platzl and many incredible restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely and I love to sit down by the fireplace. Highly recommend!

Very well kept establishment. Very good breakfast. It’s an older refurbished ( very nicely ) bldg. The room we had had floor baseboard heating which is difficult to control room temp. Ours was very hot , we shut both heaters off completely and had to have A/C on all night at 18 degrees to keep the room comfortable. Not a major inconvenience but not so eco friendly. Also , the noise ( loud chatter ) from the front desk area resonates to the open concept upper floors very badly later at night.

This is one of the cutest places I have visited recently. They care about all of the details. The staff is wonderful and friendly and I think they have one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I can’t wait to return!
