Room beautifully furnished. Comfy chairs with great view, warm throws very thoughtfully provided. Underfloor heating in bathroom really nice. Very spacious but also cozy. Heating excellent. Room is sunny. Various nice touches to make sure guests have everything they might need. Location very peaceful.

Great little 'off the beaten track' gem in the countryside of Hanmer, note- not close to town centre... However much more peaceful and worth the travel to escape the hustle and bustle and to wake up to uninterupted views of the mountain. Thanks again Daniel and Co

A little harder to find at night. We got in at 11pm and its pitchdark in the countryside, with a hard to see signboard. We didnt meet the hosts at all though they were on the premises, but I guess they like to keep to themselves The breakfast wasnt really much of a breakfast. Its a loaf.of bread, butter, a bottle of juice, milk and cereals kept in the room. A hotplate/microwave would definitely have helped

A very peaceful rural setting with a lovely outlook. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated pool towels being available. Thank you for letting us check in a bit earlier. The Charlie’s juice was very nice.

There was a lack of soundproofing between apartments to the point you could hear snoring from adjacent apartment. We feel there should be a microwave to heat food and a coffee plunger wouldn’t have gone amiss.

I recommend accommodation. Clean, comfortable, beautiful view, quiet, nice owners. Absolutely exceptional. We will definitely be back sometime.

So beautiful, serene and had all the things we wanted for a lovely long weekend stay

Location and scenery - stuning..Decor tasteful and quality of furniture and finishing touches - amazing. Host - amazing with great sense of humor which indicates highly intelligent person. Bed - amazing, I'm a restless sleeper and my wife couldnt feel any movement in the mattress even looking at me turning. She felt like on separate mattress. Definitely higher end mattress.The best sleep we ever had in any hotel. I would go as far and state this place surpases the Distinction Dunedin Hotel by a margin. European original double glazed windows, quiet when closed. We're Canadians and we know about windows quality :) All in all built with some quality materials and finishes and it reflects on quality of living/sleeping place. Maintained and cleaned meticulously. Not planing to stay anywhere else in Hanmer Springs from now on. Congrats to the owners. You really have one of the best places for your guests in the country.

Peace and quiet. Views were fantastic. Hosts were very friendly, accommodation was perfect, and it looked like it had just been finished. Would highly recommend.

Peace, quiet, country air ...all of which led to super sleep in a ultra-comfortable bed!

Were there in Spring but would have liked the opportunity to have some hot food.. perhaps at least a microwave unit added within kitchenette. Good to have some warm food particularly in Hanmer's winters.
