Excellent house about 20 minutes scenic drive to the Kentucky Horse Park! Some pantry supplies and a well stocked kitchen to cook. Space for everyone to spread out. Washer and dryer are an excellent touch. Hope to be back next year

Nostalgic sums this home up in one word. The house was a perfect fit for our group of six. It was nestled in the middle of working farms and was beautiful. The home was spotless and open, making it a perfect place for our mixed aged group from toddler to adults. The house was furnished in a combination of the modern and the vintage, with the important part of each being where it needed to be. The beds were clean and comfortable. My caveats are limited and only to make sure your stay is as comfortable as mine. The windows have standard curtains and in the main living area they are none. Not an issue if light doesn’t bother while sleeping in. Also this is farm and horse country so flying bugs and spiders are to be expected. Being in the country it is dark at night. Again nothing major unless one of those things are just a no go for you. The only thing I would change is the dining recommendations in the book. Everyone listed is great, but they left out the only remaining Jerry’s in Paris. While the dinners aren’t equal to the Merreck Inn, the breakfast is on par with any. With the nostalgic theme of this home it just fits.

Gorgeous setting on a peaceful and sweeping farm. Views from the house are beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. House had plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 children. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom and wandering around the pastures looking at the horses and their foals. Great spot for our family get together. The kids were always entertained!! Thank you

The pictures do not do this home near enough justice. The home is very clean, open, spacious, and privately located on a working farm. It has its own private entry gate and plenty of outdoor space. We had plenty of space for our entire family to sleep, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. I would definitely return to this home if I have to stay in this area in the future.

Beautiful property with horses all around. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch admiring the view. Great location for exploring horse country.

The views are beautiful! The home is surrounded by horse country in a beautiful setting. Private and picturesque setting that is uniquely what Kentucky’s known for. You won’t be disappointed!!

The Property was absolutely beautiful, quiet setting, beautiful horse farm, close enough to everything but far enough from everything, if you know what I mean. Very spacious house with enough room for everyone, master bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time in or around Lexington.
