Nice beds and good pillows.

Wish I had read the reviews about the train. It was so close and so loud, there was no sleeping through that in the middle of the night.

You could tell this was a older hotel, the rooms, pool and hot tub were dated. The breakfast and the staff were excellent and fun to visit with. Our room had a toilet issue and I went to the front desk to ask for a maintenance man to bring a toilet plunger,I was handed a plunger and told there were no maintenance available. Could thing I knew what to do.

The hot tub was disgusting with dead skin cells floating on top. It was lukewarm. There was a lot of smoke in the hallways that got into our room. The whole place, especially carpets and the pull out couch, were grimy. The bed was very uncomfortable. Staff was polite- no issues with the service- but the overall experience was terrible. I don't recommend. Spend the extra money and stay in a better hotel.

-Pool and hot tub is uninviting and inconvenient to access.
-Cold reception upon check-in.
-Received 3 unwanted wake-up calls at 5:30am.

The hotel is centrally located for shopping, it was easy to access & was great for short stay. I found the hotel very afforable. Highly recommend

We've been staying here for the better part of 6 years on our trips to Cranbrook, and we've always been happy with the service, the rates, the food quality in both the restaurant and the lounge. We tended to dine in rather than go out because of the great food.
Things are not what they used to be, though. Property is a great location for us, easy parking, but it's beginning to look dated. Food quality has declined as well, and lounge hasn't been open to the public for a long time. On the positive side, they've vastly upgraded their cable channels, so you get a lot of the premium services like Disney . They appear to have gotten new beds at some point, but they are a lot more firm and not comfortable for us. It used to be that there was always hot coffee in the lobby, but our last couple of times waking up early coffee was basically cold and undrinkable at 4:30 AM.
We've decided to stay elsewhere from now on, unfortunately. This was once a thriving place with a great restaurant and lounge.

Why is there only 2 towels in a room with two double beds and 4 people booked? Having to ask for more towels is silly. Poorly lit outside creates a potential unsafe environment. Having to get a physical key to attend the pool is not 2024 worthy and the pool needs some upgrades on ventilation at the pool. This hotel is in need of some serious upgrades.

My wife ask The front desk lady if there are breakfast included lady says” no breakfast included in your price room.” Wow. What a honest answer. I am so sorry to get your cheaper room price. Really.

Nice and convenient but most guests I met chose the accommodation because of hot tub and it was out of commission before I arrived and was Luke warm when myself and other guests used it.

It is always perfectly adequate and decent value for the price. I always stay here and it is perfectly comfortable even though its a little old and worn.

Lovely sit down breakfast with voucher which covered much of our meal. Bathrooms need a little refresh but very satisfactory in terms of cleanliness and function.

Check-in was smooth. Property is in huge need of an update. Walls are paper thin, mattresses sag and flimsy pillows. A step above sleeping on chair in son’s room at the hospital, but not by much!!

Noisy from the traffic. The pillows needed to be replaced. The waitress was great but the breakfast was very slow. New chef she said. The whole placexlooked dingy, tired. We had stayed there twice before but not next time. When i asked the front desk what would the senior rate would be per night she said$140! Amazing. Crazy.

Was given a room at the back, away from the highway so was quieter. Clean room and comfortable bed.
No elevator but an easy walk up a short flight of stairs.
Only stayed one night, so didn't get a chance to check out the pool and workout room.
All in all, a good stay.
