The property consists of a cosy living room, open plan kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a seperate WC. LIVING ROOM You enter the property into the spacious, cosy living room. With a large suede sofa and matching armchair, you can enjoy a restful evening after a day exploring the local area. KITCHEN The kitchen features a large selection of appliances including a hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. With cookware, dinnerware and glassware as standard you have everything you need to enjoy your self catering stay. DINING AREA The dining space has a large, wooden dining table with seating for up to four guests. The final room on the ground floor is a WC. BEDROOM AND BATHROOM Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms and family bathroom. The first bedroom features a king bed and the second is home to a single bed. Each room is tastefully decorated with neutral colour palettes, include storage for your personal items and have a dressing table which can double up as a desk. The beds include plush mattresses and luxury bed linens so a peaceful night sleep is definitely on the cards. GARDEN Aynsley Mews has a secure garden to the rear of the property, perfect for enjoying lazy sunshine days or letting the little ones run freely. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. There is private parking on site for two cars. The Neighborhood: Consett is a vibrant town in North West Durham surrounded by spectacular countryside. The town sits above the rural Derwent Valley, nestled on the edge of the Pennines with many tourist attractions and beauty spots with Durham, the Metro Centre and Newcastle just 20 minutes away. Expansive countryside can be easily accessed in around 10 minutes and a drive across to the Derwent Reservoir is a real joy. This town is a must visit for anyone who loves the great outdoors. You can enjoy long, quiet walks through the countryside. If you’d prefer more activity, the landscape is perfect for energetic hikes and you can also take advantage of a full range of outdoor activities including cycling, fresh water fishing, canoeing, sailing and horse riding. The Coast to Coast (C2C or Sea to Sea) cycle route passes through Consett and is known as the UK’s most popular long-distance cycle route so for those cycling fans you are perfectly placed to enjoy a challenging route. Then when you’ve walked, cycled and explored the town and the countryside, there are plenty of local cafes and eateries to refuel. Getting Around: Consett has convenient local bus links, plus premium X-lines to surrounding towns and into Newcastle. Consett is in the Green GoZone, so you can now travel for less across County Durham to places like Stanley, Chester-le-Street and Durham city centre. If you are looking to travel locally in Consett and surrounding areas there are bus routes covering Consett, Castleside, Medomsley, Shotley Bridge and Leadgate. From Newcastle and Durham you there are major rail links to other large towns and cities so you are never far from exploring the rest of the UK.
