Found the GM Premium Hotel the perfect place to finish off our family holiday (saved the best for last) . Great service and walking distance to all the major attractions . The breakfast filled us up for the day and cooling off in the roof top pool before dinner made life very pleasant. All ready planning our next trip. Staff where super friendly and helpfully organising transportation

Service from staff could not be faltered. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were large comfortable and spotless. Location is great for the old quarter.

We stayed there for three nights. Check in was one of the best we’ve ever had from the second we got there. We arrived after a 14 hour flight, so quite tired. But the staff made the check in process so easy and stress free. We had a cup of tea while everything was taken care of for us. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and had everything you could wish for. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to explore the Old Quarter, water puppet show, museums, etc. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a freshly renovated hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter close to all the attractions we wanted to see. Very safe to walk in the area day and night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and staff were accommodating if you needed something. Staff gave us all kinds of directions and tips and even put us in touch with a free walking tour done by a university student trying to learn English ( free, though we definitely gave her a tip at the end). It made the area much more interesting for us and hopefully helped her too. The staff were what made it a 5-star experience! Would certainly stay there again.

Great location, nice rooms, clean and comfortable. The service was very friendly too. The breakfast was good, but most dishes aren’t clearly labelled so sometimes we had no idea what they were. Overall this place was great value for money.

The staff were the highlight - so polite and helpful!! Big thanks to Eugene and Vivian in particular for their recommendations and wonderful customer service. Breakfast on the rooftop every morning was a delight, and you can’t beat the location, which was in the thick of Old Quarter near lots of food and shopping and the lake, but very quiet at night for sleeping even during the lunar new year celebrations.

Excellent hotel, staff and location. Highly recommended for quality of service, friendliness of staff and location. It is close to the cathedral, night market, prison, opera house and great shopping. The ideal spot for a stop in Hanoi. Great job GM team!

We enjoyed out stay at GM Premium. The hotel was nice, rooms were a decent size. Pool and bar were lovely. Staff were very helpful and professional. Location is great - easy walk to the lake and shopping district. Lots of restaurants around. The breakfast was awesome- would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in beautiful Hanoi. We also arranged airport transfers with the hotel which made it so much easier as first time visitors to Hanoi!

GM Premium Hotel is located in the heart of Old Quater, Hanoi. Everything is in walking distance. Not only the location, but also their hospitality is superb. There are a million of hotels in Old Quater and we are very pleased in staying at GM Premium Hotel. Highly recommended!

Hotel was fantastic. Good location, friendly staff, and a great rooftop bar / restauraunt that serves a great breakfast.

From the moment the door was held open, it was a warm welcome (nothing was missing, delicious fruit tea, clear instructions). Definitely a breath of fresh air in the somewhat chaotic city of Hanoi. Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful. Vivianne and the rest of the staff were always there to greet me with a smile, to every question we got a very helpful answer. From booking transport from the airport or the trip to Ninh Binh (great arrangements). We had booked the trip to Halong Bay in advance, which in retrospect would not have been necessary!
The atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant is lovely. Breakfast was way over our expectations, even the take away breakfast was organised to perfection! We will happily return at the end of December and we already know that everything has been organised to perfection. Our Oasis in Hanoi, at prime location! We are already looking forward to it. All credit to you!

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious. The included breakast had a lot of options and was served on the rooftop with great views of the city. Ms. Vivian and Quang provided great service throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!

I can not express how much I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Location was amazing, close to everything you need to see by walking. The room was large, had a balcony which was amazing to stand outside, and the showers had amazing water pressure. They have great amenities like a roof top pool which is so beautiful and serene, also a roof top bar as well which was perfect to grab a beer. The spa has a lot of great packages to choose from, perfect after you have a lot of walking or possibly trekking. They offer breakfast as well which was a plus, I loved that they had fresh juices as well as many options. The most amazing part was the hospitality. Vivian was such an amazing person to welcome me into the hotel and was so friendly and personable. I felt like I knew her my whole life. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. It will be the hotel I would go back to when visiting Vietnam.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are amazing and so helpful. The hotel itself is very nice, well designed and geat rooms. The breakfast is excellent and the Sky Bar is amazing ar night. We also booked our excursions and airport transportation trough the hotel. This was way more convenient and less expensive than doing it on our own.

Canadian English speaking solo traveller - Overall a very good hotel. Incredibly helpful staff… they helped me review my plans for the next few days and made a few recommendations that made my trip so much better. The hotel was under renovations so there was some work going on and the restaurant & Spa was closed but they gave a coupon for their sister hotel down the block… Great included (for me anyway?) breakfast buffet with western options and local fare. There’s so many food options around that the closure didn’t even phase me. Rooftop pool was still open and rarely occupied, water was pretty warm on a hot day but nice in the evening.

Unfortunately, the hotel was in the middle of painting so there was dust, paint tapes, and paint smell when we checked in. The room was clean and beds were comfortable, but it was difficult to get past the strong paint smell so did not get a good night’s sleep. We left the next day and booked somewhere else. The hotel was located centrally to shops and restaurants and in a safe location. Overall, cute boutique hotel with a wonderful staff.

The hotel is in a great location and a lovely building with a wonderful breakfast and amazing staff.
It was just unfortunate that the week we had booked, the hotel was undergoing renovations for maintenance and so the pool, gym/spa and rooftop bar were all closed.
It was really hot in Hanoi and I booked this hotel specifically for the pool as I have two young boys and was keen to be able to cool off in the afternoons (not sure why you would renovate pool in summer instead of waiting till it is cooler and pool won’t be used….)
The renovations also mean that there was paint smells and dust all over the floor we were on so wasn’t great and we ended up requesting a room change (which was a bit better).
Overall, I think the hotel would be great if we had stayed during another time, we just lucked out! I did raise this with the hotel afterwards and I have been offered a return stay for free but the reality is, we are unlikely to get to return to Vietnam. Just disappointed:(
