We had a wonderful stay at the Kyoto Blossom Hotel. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Firstly, all the staff were welcoming, courteous and friendly. In our view this is the most important factor in making our stay so enjoyable. A big thank you to all the staff. Please keep your standards high. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. It was also quiet. Breakfast was a delight to look forward to each morning. I used the gym on several occasions during my stay. While I had a good workout on the cycle and thread mill, I recommend providing sanitary wipes to wipe down equipment after use. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to come back.

This is a nice place to stay for basic comforts. A little outside of the main bustling area but also nice to get away from it all. Very easy to navigate to the sight seeing spots. The onsen style space was lovely to have as an experience. They are strict about visible tattoos but if you have small ones they will let you cover them up so that you can enjoy!

Absolutely loved this hotel! Service was spot on. The shared amenities including onsen and drinks/snacks lounge were clean and well-stocked. The room was spotless and the hotel was apparently done in 2022 so everything was new. Gym was small. It’s a few mins walk from the subway and short walk to a lot of shopping and restaurants. My only small issue was that the bed and pillow weren’t the most comfortable but my partner didn’t have any issues with it.

Very good hotel overall. Clean, very courteous, friendly staff and very helpful. Very good breakfast. Room size is decent, has separate shower room and toilet. Close to subway. It has 5 washer dryers but looks like always busy.

An exceptional experience! The restaurant and front desk staffs are so professional and so welcoming. This hotel felt like home. We will certainly come back to Kyoto and I will make sure that we stay in this hotel.

Fantastic place, super clean, quiet, luxury feel and great size rooms. Lovely staff and service. The onsen was such a bonus, we used it everyday. Along with the free drinks and snacks and a gym! Location was not as close to things as we expected and not a lot of restaurants or things right nearby (10 mins walk) but we loved our stay at this beautiful hotel

It was a great place i have ever stayed in Japan. It's very close to Kyoto station and our family went to sauna everyday. If I go to Kyoto again, i will visit here!

Nice rooms, friendly staff, a refreshing drink/snack area. Breakfast and meals were good but lacked variety if you stay multiple days. Great bathrooms.

This is a beautifully designed hotel. The entry and lobby is wonderful. They have a lower level guest area with complimentary soft drinks and snacks. The rooms are very nice with very simple design details. The shower was wonderful, a real treat. The staff is helpful and seems to want to provide very good service. We were there at the height of busy season and was never able to get into the restaurant. The cafe for dinner and snacks was open, but the menu was not appealing to us. I wish there was a bar in the lobby. The rooms were very clean. That’s not typically what I report. All in all a lovely hotel, I highly recommend it. Close to the subway too.

Staff were professional, efficient, and made us feel welcome right from the start. The breakfast buffet was delicious and healthy. Appreciated how the hotel was a few steps away from Gojo Subway, bus stop, and awesome restaurants.

No doorman or help with bags. Concierge won’t help or translate unless it’s Kyoto based. They charge taxi fees to your room if hotel helps coordinate

If you need to have a comfortable stay near the Kioto station and overall in central areas Blossom is a great hotel for that! Nice and clean and friendly staff! (For an authentic Kyoto feel you need to go somewhere futher away because Kyoto is full of tourists)

Apart from not being able to use the baths because of tattoos everything was amazing

The property is very good. Neat, clean and inviting. Nice location with several great restaurant options nearby. We had one issue during check-in. We had booked a rate inclusive of breakfast, but the hotel's records did not show that. Once they saw our Expedia confirmation, they honored the booking. One day, I left my phone in a cab. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me retrieve the phone. Very grateful!

Everything was excellent- especially the staff, the accommodations, amenities, easy access to the subway. We chose The Blossom Kyoto for our 6 night stay to explore the surrounding areas. It was very easy to get to Osaka, Himeji, downtown Kyoto, etc. Hiroshima/Miyajima Island was easy enough too. Location- 1 stop to get to Kyoto Station, 2 or 3 stops (less than 5 min) to get to Nishiki Market and the upscale downtown shopping/dining. There are restaurants close to the hotel but menus/ticket machines are in Japanese only. Still doable but takes a bit more effort. Hotel Amenities - Loved their soaking baths and spa area!! Water is a hot 40* c !! It was a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. Everything (toothbrushes, hair brushes, lotions, razors, etc.. ) is provided at the spa and in the rooms. Also pajamas, slippers and spa wear are provided too. To sum it up- book this hotel! The rooms are comfortable and spacious enough, beautifully appointed, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful.

Beautiful small hotel with excellent Japanese bath, restaurant and rooms We were greeted with a complimentary snack during check in, large coffee room with bevarage and snacks in a cosy lounge area. We stayed in a twin room, great value. Only downside was the closeness to the fire station and we were a bit bothered by it during night and early morning. We asked for ear plugs that helped a bit. The breakfast was very nice and staff super friendly all over the hotel.
