The room was comfortable and people friendly and helpful. But this place should not be open for business with the scale of refurbishment happening. The advertised amenities were not available and people need to be made aware

The motel is under construction. It was terrible there, no hot breakfast or coffee. The entrance is the back door. The office is threw a window. Would NOT recomend this place! Saw a mouse running around! Horrible!

we booked three nights but only stayed one….hotel is under construction so we had no hot water, breakfast was grab and go…no tea or coffee….booked this place for the pool….pool is closed down…. was happy to get a refund but now i have been charged an extra night on my visa from them….no one at hotel knows how or why!!! Have contacted my bank and they have put it through to the fraud department

The hotel was under construction, which we did not know until we were booking in, which was unfortunate but not to inconvenient. The hot and cold of the rooms are hard to control. Its either straight hot or straight cold, no ability to actually pick a temperature. Shower water first thing in the morning was barely usable as the water was running straight cold til about 9am. Breakfast was good, but they have long term stays that were invasive to our experience.

No hot water on our second day - had to have ice cold shower

Construction on third floor from 8am to 8pm.
Wasn't made aware of this until I checked in(after I had paid on Hotels.com)
Had to run the hot water a bit before using to get the iron/rust in pipes.

My friend and I booked 2 rooms for New Years Eve with 4 kids. We had a great stay! It's a nice budget friendly hotel. Our room was clean, although there were a few stains on the carpet as others have mentioned, and the bathroom door could have used a wipe down, the room was very clean. We were definitely satisfied and will be back, especially for the price, and the fact that there is a good size pool and free breakfast. The kids loved it too!

We enjoyed our stay, we had three rooms and they put us all next to eachother, kids enjoyed the pool, we also enjoyed the big breakfast spread. The only complaint is they should look into hiring new cleaners our room , and the other two parties were dirty. Toothpaste on mirror hair soap and soap scum in bath, pee leaking down front of toilet and on the floor.

Breakfast was awesome. Pool wasn't bad at all. I don't talk much on how the rooms are themselves, wear and tear is a real thing, so it's about average on that scale. If you really wanna know the important things, it's safe and it's quiet. A lone traveler would be fine here. Oh and rooms are pretty spacious too.

Bad wifi that keeps dropping out. Interior is in better condition than the exterior. Good price in the off season

Can't beat the price for the location. Freeport is right down the road and Portland is 15 minutes away.

Good accommodation for a reasonable cost. Thank you

It was very dirty and outdated. There was dust on everything, dirty spoon behind the nightstand. mold in the shower, the toilet would not flush properly kept plugging. Walls were dirty food under the curtains. We had to go buy all new bedding to put on the bed to sleep.

Older Comfort Suites building but appears to be recently renovated on the inside. Staff is generally friendly and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The price was hard to beat for the area in November. Paid $315 for 4 nights from Expedia which even the Econo Lodge is more expensive by a lot. The contentental breakfast was surprisingly filling and solid. Nothing to complain about. I know a lot of reviews complained about the I-295 traffic but there is nothing they can do about it and it is not that loud and just blends in. Will definitely come back if cabins aren't available. No strange people walking around either. Everything worked well. Best bargain in the Freeport area. A+

Really convenient spot right off the highway but also close to the outlets and LLBean flagship. Comfy bed and friendly staff.

When we had a problem they immediately took care of it or switched us to another room.

My only gripe would be the showers and towels- the shower curtain was definitely moldy-
I loved that there was a mini fridge, microwave, and my daughter was over the moon about the pool! Bed is comfy!!!

I give this place and 8/10. Only because it says pet friendly but we weren’t aloud to keep our dog in the room alone. It was like they expected us to stay at the hotel the whole vacation because pets aren’t allowed everywhere i.e Walmart, restaurants, etc. We had to work around romantic couples nights, necessity shopping and activities. $100 hold should allow people to leave their dogs in the room especially if trained. But overall loved the breakfast, the pool and how close to everything it was.

I stayed it three nights. The bathroom is a disaster. That’s all I can say, and everything else was very under par.

Staff was very friendly. I had a call that had me miss my checkout time and they were very kind and allowed me the extra time to get myself together. Even offered suggestions for the area, upon check in. Quite a nice stay.

Easy access to downtown Freeport and 20 minutes to Portland. We felt the property offered value. Beds could be more comfortable. No maid service unless you stay four nights. Breakfast was appreciated. Eggs could have been better but sausages and waffles were yummy. Great breakfast selection. Free parking. Thank you.

The free breakfast was delicious! Very well done. Our room however had an odd smell in it and there were stains on the carpet, the bed was comfy though.

The payment system was down (again) and would not provide a way to make payment for the room or snacks. Told to go to an ATM for cash or pay via Expedia. How can a hotel run effectively without a reliable system in place? Disappointing thing to deal with for 20 minutes prior to our stay late at night.

The breakfast was great! Previous hotel with similar price gave a bag to go, which we did not like.
