Popponesset-This home was custom built in 2022, and is designed to provide comfort, luxury and loads of charm for the discerning vacationer. New construction, but with a nod to the Nantucket Sea Captain's houses of yesteryear. Professionally decorated and landscaped, offering every amenity you could possibly desire; from an in-ground, heated, saltwater pool (with electric cover), outdoor hot tub, outdoor shower, gas fire-pit seating area, expansive patio space for outdoor dining and even a cabana with a sink, beverage refrigerator, and smart TV. The decor is “farmhouse fabulous” with a wide-open floor plan, white cabinets, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, wide oak flooring and a living room with central gas fireplace. 3 large bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms (2 bathtubs). Oversized dining area that overlooks the pool and a 1st floor primary bedroom. Upstairs there is another Primary, en-suite bedroom with a king size bed, along with an adorable nautical themed guest room, and a light and bright den that opens onto a 2nd floor deck for gorgeous views of Deans Pond and Sandy Beach. Located on one of the most desirable dead-end streets in Popponesset. A 3-minute walk over a quaint footbridge to the private, deeded beach. One of the closest homes to the Popponesset Inn and the Marketplace. Close to Mashpee Commons for dining, shopping and entertainment. We had a wonderful time! We stayed in November 2023 and still had plenty to do in the cape. The house was exactly as advertised and was super clean and had everything we needed, we especially loved the gas fireplace inside during our fall visit, there was great space for everyone! We would definetly stay again.

This property could not have been better! The house was clean, roomy, and beautifly decorated. It was obvious a lot of thought went into preparing this house for guests. The owners were quick to respond if we had questions and very personable. The location near the pond and quick walk to the private beach were perfect! We loved our stay! (FYI, the bedroom upstairs with the en-suite bath has a king bed. The listing says it is a queen.)

Stayed here for three days with some friends for my son's wedding. Beautiful property. It rained so could not enjoy all of the amenities. But the place is beautifully decorated. Lots of space for the rest of the family to visit.

We loved the little cottage out back and the beautiful home! We had three couples and had more than enough room for us to be together and then alone! We enjoyed a walk to the personal beach on one of the days. The morning towel cleaning seemed odd to us, but we complied. Overall this is an amazing rental.

We loved our stay here for our wedding weekend! We also rented their space across the street for the weekend and it worked out really well. The beach is just a few minute walk away. It really was great for getting ready and walking to the beach for photos. A few things to be aware of that didn’t overall take away from our stay- check out time (9am) is a bit early with instructions to have towels washed and folded prior to departure, the neighbor next door was very interested in our stay (but not interfering), we were asked to pay the final payment a few weeks earlier than agreed or the property would have been cancelled (but we were thankfully able to pay and it all worked out). Overall it’s a great spot, absolutely beautiful location, would recommend.

House was located in a quiet setting close to the beach. House was lovely - clean and spacious. We loved our stay. The thing to note is that you have to not only wash but dry and fold all the towels and check out is 9am. That’s a very tight window to wash, dry, fold and leave that early. He allowed us to leave a little later. The nice home and backyard was worth it.

Amazing house, clean, airy, beautifully decorated, comfortable (missing a king size bed that would be the cherry on top of the cake), clean warm salt water pool, walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants, in a very nice neighborhood, owners extremely nice and always available. We are all over 65 and the stair were a killer. Little disappointed in third bedroom. It was minimal to say the least. There was no dresser, no mirror of any kind and no trash can in that bedroom or the full bath across the hall. Other than that the location was great, pool and the area around it were beautiful.

What a beautiful home in Popponesset Beach. This is really the quintessential Cape Cod home. New construction, immaculately clean, amazing pool and outdoor area and just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. Our family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 children ages 15, 13, 11 and 8 - had an amazing time here. Plenty of room to spread out on the two levels and every amenity you could ever need. It's in a quiet neighborhood with other families and was the perfect vacation spot. Really very few complaints but if we had any feedback for the owners it would be just two things 1) we wish one of the rooms had a king bed and the hot tub is a bit tight for more than 4 or 5 people. But those are really minor and overall the home met all of our needs.

We had a wonderful time here. It’s a beautiful house, perfect location, and very well-appointed! The house is walking distance to a gorgeous private beach and the neighborhood was very charming. Very clean, comfortable house full of natural sunlight and Paul was a great host. I can’t think of one negative thing. Highly recommend and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

House is gorgeous and in a great location to beach. Heated pool and backyard were very enjoyable although pool house was not finished. Host was available via text for questions/concerns. Would stay again in the future. Only con was you pay a cleaning fee but you still had to wash and fold all towels before leaving, which meant no showers or pool time the morning of checkout.
