Wenn sich jemand gut um die Unterkunft kümmern würde, könnte sie richtig toll sein.
Das Zimmer war gut, der Balkon sehr schön, die Lage direkt am Strand ebenfalls. Der Eingangsbereich im Erdgeschoss hat keinen guten Eindruck gemacht.
Der Eingangsbereich im Erdgeschoss hat keinen guten Eindruck gemacht. Es lag z. B. ein altes Handtuch vor der Treppe, damit man sich die Füße abstreifen konnte. Es war 3 Tage lang schmutzig und voller Sand. An der Eingangstüre lag ein Pappdeckel, statt dass die Füße sauber wurden, wurden sie wieder sandig. Im Zimmer war der Lichtschalter an der Eingangstüre, das heisst, man musste im Dunkeln ans Bett gehen. Da das 3. Bett in den Raum rein stand, habe ich mir die Zehe so gestoßen, dass sie total schwarz war und ich keinen Schuh anziehen konnte.
Dass es sich mehr um ein Apartmenthaus handelt, ohne Rezeption , wurde mir erst nach der Buchung mitgeteilt.

Nice room with a beautiful view to the sea. Enjoyed morning coffees on the balcony very much. Erick was super helpful with organising everything we wanted (transport, tours etc.). Rincon is a great place to spend some relaxed beach time.

Extremely well located, easy access to lots of excursions and nearby islands. Beach access and local restaurants all within walking steps. Overall comfortable place.
Chief(s)of Staff. The location has a lot to offer and overall the “hotel” was definitely on par with expectations. However, Eric and his partner had the least amount of care and kindness I had experienced in the whole of Colombia. From the plankton excursion where when probed with questions he deflected them or admittedly didn’t know a single thing about the phenomenon itself and why it’s happening there or what it originates from (I mean he supposedly does this regularly right?) or admittedly showed no interest in supporting our curiosity, interest or comfort, to his limited availability, (as soon as you book you get sent a disclaimer that clarifies that “this is not an hotel and our personnel won’t be on watch but rather sitting by the hammocks” which is perfectly fine of course, but if I have to search for the guy every time and when found he shows the least interest imaginable in helping me out, well then that’s a bit of a disappointment), to his general lack of interest in guests overall. For that price, in that location, you would expect a better treatment overall.

Super hôtel sur la plage de Rincon, avec tout les équipements nécessaires pour passer un super séjour : transat, hamac, fauteuils...
La chambre était spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain !

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est incroyable et la vue des chambres également. Nous ne voulions plus partir tout était vraiment parfait. Les chambres sont joliment décorées et la cuisine est très propre et très bien équipée. Nous avons eu un très bon petit dej très complet et fait maison tous les matins. Tout le monde était adorable, ici aucune prise de tête tout est fait pour se détendre. Un lieu paradisiaque.

El desayuno estuvo bueno, sin embargo se recomienda variar el menú, la habitación contaba con vista al mar. El lugar es bonito y se puede descansar en la playa, buenos restaurantes y tiendas locales con precios económicos.

Esta muy bien ubicado, el mar esta en todo el frente del hotel, es un lugar especial para familias. Ya estan ofreciendo desayuno, cosa que no se de dio en un visita anterior. El atardecer desde aqui se ve espectacular!. El personal es amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Hicimos con Erick el tour del planton, que incluso coordinamos el mismo dia y resultó un super plan para los niños, lo disfrutaron mucho.
El desayuno podría estar mejor presentado y tener mayor variedad. Hay que solicitar que hagan limpieza en la hab porque si no se solicita no la hacen.

The hostel meet the expectations for our short stay. The location is nice on the beach an has good facilities to enjoy outside. Staff was nice and welcoming
Beds are too soft so when suffering from the back they proved to be painful to sleep on.

It is located right at the beach, the view is really amazing. Even though it is in the commercial zone of the town, it is pretty calm here and at the same time close to shops and restaurants. Relax zone is very nice. Internet is also decent.
There is a guy Erick who takes care of guests. Unfortunately he is very unprofessional, very slightly saying. He met us only on the second day just to take the money and explain us where we can spend more (restaurants and tours). Afterwards he instantly ran away. Every time he talked to us, it was only about money. It was difficult to obtain other information, especially for things which are free of charge. When we payed him for one of the tours, he started to dance with the money right in front of us!
There was a power shortage at the time of our stay, but it is pretty a normal thing in Rincón. Unfortunately there is no running water when it happens, so you cannot even use a toilet. It came out later that there are some toilets which work without power, but Erick told us about it only when power was back...
Additionally we have found two huge cockroaches in our bathroom.

Perfect place to relax. The hostel is right on the beach and there are a lot of local restaurants and bars within walking distance to grab a beer or enjoy a good meal. The rooms were very clean. Waking up to the sound of the sea and watching the sunset every night is a dream!
The beds were a bit hard, but we only really noticed this after three nights of sleeping.

Really good location right next to nice restaurants and within walking distance to a secluded stretch of beach. Spacious room with good AC and wifi. Nice tours available.
The room itself is comfortable, but especially the bathroom really lacks cleanliness. There is mold on the shower curtains and sewage smell. The towels and sheets were stained. It just didn’t feel clean in general.
We understand it’s a laid back place and not a ho(s)tel, but there was a lack of hospitality. Pretty big difference with the hospitality we’ve received in the rest of Colombia.
Altogether we just found it quite expensive for what you get in return.

very nice location with a wonderful sea view. The owner speaks English and Spanish fluently and is always here to help. We forgot our swimsuits and he sent them to us straight away. The bed is very confortable and many restaurants are located nearby if you want a natural juice or a beer to relax. I would definitely recommend this place. thank you again !!

Had a lovely stay and really appreciate the friendly hosts who've been supporting us with all kinds of needs and providing us with everything we could ask for. This place really got us in vacation mood. Highly recommended! Bonus is that this is one of few places speaking English as well as Spanish, and they accept card if needed.

They have evidently invested in the place, really good quality beds for instance and great air con. Eric was super nice and really helpful. For price/value I think it's definitely the best option in Rincon Del Mar. They provide really good value tours, with the plankton tour being brilliant.
Owner's sense of humour is dryer than a family pack of Cream Crackers without butter. I found him pretty funny to be fair, but easily could take him the wrong way. Sort of like staying at Jim Jeffries's house by the beach.

Great views to the see from the balcony, good location
Very very very dirty. We found lots of bugs in bed and pillow just when we were going to go to bed. The light of the mobile phone made us see all of them and it was disgusting. Shits were dirty, i doubt they had change then. We did not leave because it was midnight but we could hardly sleep, they were allover. A big dissapointment, cleanliness should really be improved.

Loved it here. Great communication from the owner. Great location right on the beach. Our room was lovely and had sunset views. Really comfortable bed. We would wake up. Make coffee and retire to the hammocks outside our room. A perfect place to spend Christmas.
Our rooms previous occupants went on a boat trip when they should have checked out so they checked out an hour late. So with that and the room needing cleaning this meant our check in was 2 hours late which was not ideal after an overnight bus from Medellín. It's not the owners fault but I thought it was very rude and inconsiderate of the previous guests.

Great place to stay by the shore! The views were extraordinary and the staff and people around are really kind and helpful. They never seek to prey you on! Very comfortable place with all commodities needed, you can do many things like swimming, going on tours to different islands, have a delicious lunch and drink as many cocktails as you can bear at a reasonable cost. This places makes Cartagena look so overrated
The only flaw I saw about the place is that you can get a little uncomfortable by the noise of other residents of the house, it seems the walls aren't thick enough to be noise-proof.

it’s located directly at the beach and quite new compared to the other hostels in the area. the kitchen is well equipped and we liked the vibe in Rincon Del Mar. The food you can buy at the local stores is quite cheap but you will need to bring cash since barely anyone accepts cards.
we would’ve loved it if they offered breakfast, which they don’t. also the beach is not as nice as on the pictures.
