My wife and I took a short golf getaway and stayed here. This is a beautiful home and pictures just don’t do it justice! The view from the windows in the living room and outdoor porch was a canvas for some amazing sunsets! This place had everything ! Everything from a large sectional couch and an outdoor deck with plenty of chairs that’s built around a tree, giving the feeling like you are in a treehouse. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen was nice and spacious! Outdoor grill was great! We were also impressed by the music collection! We took advantage of the bikes and rode around the lovely quiet neighborhood in the am. The neighbors are very friendly! Love the decor! We had a big thunderstorm and watched the sound churn up from inside the house , which was quite an experience! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We would love to stay there again!

A beautiful and well-appointed cottage with wonderful sunset views. Definitely worth a return visit!!

It was a wonderful place to stay and unwind from the hectic pace. This view is mesmerizing and the place was great. The hosts supplied an incredible resource of music CD's to listen to and their ear for music was right up our alley. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return again in the future.

Wonderful property just outside of Edenton right on the water. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Such a wonderful house. How does something so small feel so spacious? The whole place was clean, well organized and inviting. Oh, and so comfy. If you like to be able to make a home-cooked meal while traveling, this is the kitchen to do it in. If you're a cook, you'll want for nothing. And the amenities: I hope we can stay longer next time to advantage of all the fun stuff available to really enjoy the water. Sweet AV setup, too. Small TV, though, but anything bigger would detract from the terrific view (catch a sunset!) 10 minutes max to get to quaint little downtown Edenton and some local color. (Take it slow and enjoy the ride) Owners went above and beyond on providing info about the space and the area. So thankful to them for making it so easy. Can't wait to go back.

This was our first time in the Edenton area. Both the home and the town are lovely. The weather did not cooperate but the views of the Albermarle Sound were still wonderfully serene. The home is decorated so nicely, calming colors and very comfortable. It is well appointed with anything you would need. We had amazing food each time we ventured out. Thank you for your hospitality. Our stay felt like a home away from home.

Views of the sound and sunset magnificent! Home is beautiful with 360 view of Albemarle sound, deck and lounge chairs completed outdoor relaxing. Gas grill, had steak one night ! Kitchen fully equipped with everything one would have in their own home. Comfortable bed and additional covers if needed. Tiled bath and large shower with low step for easy in and out. ! We were very impressed with how the home was appointed and decorated! Will definitely be back !

Property is well maintained with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay! About an hour from the Outer banks for day trips.

The home was very comfortable and clean with modern upgrades. The location was very convenient and the view from the living room and deck was amazing! Hope to get back soon.

As amazing as the pictures look online, the views and sunset are even better in person. The way the house is positioned on the lot, all you see is water from the living room! Gorgeous. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful little cottage on the river. A perfect place to unplug and recharge. Everything you could need and more for a few days away. Edenton is quaint and charming and may have become our favorite small town vaca spot. The view is spectacular even on a gloomy day. Sunsets you wish would last for hours and a music collection to fit any mood. Thank you Eric and Julianne. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful location that brought us the peace we were looking for!

Perfect place to hang out and relax or wander the streets in town. Sunsets were incredible! Only negative was that there is only one coffee shop in town so it was a 20+ minute wait to get a cup, and they are not open on Sundays. But don't let that spoil an otherwise fabulous locale.

This is a little slice of Sound heaven... no need to leave the property. You can fish... kayak ... read a good book or most importantly.... ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS! we hope to come back time and time again.. Thanks for sharing with us! Shaun and Amy
