Beautiful trulli villas, super clean, gorgeous pool and so peaceful

We liked everything

It was a beautifully and tastefully renovated Trullo house. Attention to detail both in the Trullo and in the grounds made for high end accommodation. Comfortable bed, the shutters kept the place cool during the day and dark at night. The pool was lovely and the outdoor cooking and dining area was well equipped and provided a relaxing space in the shade. It was a perfect location for exploring the nearby local tourist spots while not being far from the coast.

I can't fault it.... We had a fabulous time here I think owners got the balance just right with an uncluttered space but equipped enough for a very comfortable stay.

Everything was amazing. Such a quite beautiful space, but still 10 minutes from the city with great restaurants etc. The hosts were super kind, shared a lot of tips for bike rental, taxi service, bar and restaurant recommendations. Loved the pool and the mini indoor poor bath (for the suite).

Nothing :-) only maybe good to know there’s no breakfast service, but there’s kitchen utilities to make your own, or just drive up to a place to have breakfast elsewhere.

Great getaway among the olive trees, just a short drive from the city. The structure is adorable and beautifully setup on the inside as well. We loved the small saltwater pool and the outdoor kitchen. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The property is shared between two trulli, but luckily we got along with the other guests so we could enjoy our time without stepping on each other's toes too much.

The AC wasn't functioning perfectly but the trulli are built to stay cool on their own, so we didn't feel that as a big issue. All I missed was a way to make normal coffee with a moka, but I believe that will be sorted out in the near future :) Next time we will definitely book both trulli with friends or family!

We loved our stay at Demora Iconica, a very special place!

Giuseppe and Isa did an amazing job renovating these trulli from 1750 - they managed to keep the original structure intact, while at the same time adding all of the modern comforts. We stayed in the biggest trullo, which has a living area & kitchenette - perfect for a family. It's close to town, but at the same time in a very quiet place surrounded by nature. There's only two trulli in the structure, privacy in the common areas and pool is guaranteed. Overall, a truly unforgettable experience!

The place was amazing, the room super clean, nice and very comfortable, the host help us at all Time, and the tranquility of the place Is just amazing, excellent!

This is a gorgeous place, beautifully furnished. The pool / garden area is great. The rooms are comfortable and sizeable. The shower was amazing! We stayed in 2 rooms and we were the only people at the hotel, so it felt like we'd rented out our own luxury villa! It's a 20 minute walk into Locorotondo and combines peace and tranquillity with convenience.

It was not an issue but there is not a bar / restaurant on site. There are fridges in the rooms but you can't order drinks or food, so it's something to be aware of.

The property is beautifully situated in the countryside only a short distance from Locorotondo making it so peaceful yet accessible by foot (25mins) or car (5mins). The whole property sits within its own grounds and the setting is stunning. The trullo itself has been completely renovated with all mod cons and is a joy to stay in and to look at! We were so pleased to have found this little treasure and it seemed a shame in the end that we were only there for one day. Highly recommended to any traveller!

It was probably one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in. An old trullo, beautifully renovated with lots of little details. The host was very attentive and quick to answer any questions or solve any issues. It was spacious with a very comfortable bed. There is a central A/C and heating system, which was great as it was quite cold when we were there so it was nice to be able to warm the place up. The grounds around the trullo are beautiful, with a lovely swimming pool and lots of olive and fruit trees. The stone walls around the property make it feel like it's from another era. We liked the fact that it's in a quiet location away from Locoratondo, so it felt very private. You might need a car though if you're planning to stay here, for us the location was definitely a bonus. It was easy to park in the main town, and very close by car to other small historic towns and attractions like Arbelobello.

We found Dimora Iconica on Booking.com rather by chance, whilst searching last minute for accomodation in Valle d'Itria as the last stopping place of our 3 week tour through Puglia. Finding good accommodation this time of the year (end Sept-early Oct) is no problem whatsoever by the way, as there is plenty of choice especially in this area, but as soon as we had arrived and were welcomed by the host, we immediately realized that this place was the best choice we could have made: what a stunning location! Locorotondo is ideally located in the heart of Valle d'Itria, so perfect for daytrips to Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Ostuni, Cisternino,...and while driving around in the area visiting all these places, we have seen hundreds of Trulli houses but none of them so beautiful as the one in Dimora Iconica. We stayed at the largest trullo, which has a large living room, separate bathroom and bedroom and a small kitchenette. The bed has a fantastic mattress and if you are a light sleeper, this is where you want to be as you literally don't hear anything at all. The areas around the trullo are beautifully organised and decorated, with focus on relax in style. Very nice, clean pool where you can enjoy the beauty of the surroundings to the max. Giuseppe, the host, lives only a mile away and was always available for advise or help. If you don't like this place, then stay at home!

Nothing! We only regretted not being here in June or early September, as we could have enjoyed the outdoor relax even more than we did now. Days are getting very short in October and evenings pretty chilly.

What is there not to like? The location is very good for the town of Locorotondo. .just a few minutes drive or 15/20 minute walk. The Trullo is one of the best I have stayed in. Every comfort , AC, Espresso machine through to a great equipped kitchenette. The grounds have been given lots of care and attention. The outdoor area in general is gorgeous. A beautiful swimming pool, and a little added bonus of outdoor kitchen and dining area. The hosts were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail is very good indeed. It really is hard to find fault with anything... Even the coffee pods for the Coffee machine were Borbone 👍😄 (one of my favourite). The facilities as said , both inside the Trullo and outside were excellent.. a decent sized fridge in the structure , I should add. All in all, I would recommend this place to all my family and friends .. those staying in the smaller of the 2 trulli , have a mini-spa / wet room too.
