The living room includes a wood-burning fireplace and vaulted ceiling. Each room has a ceiling fan, but there are no AC units in this home. Guest Access Guests will have access to shared swimming beach that includes floating dock and a small dock for kayaks, as well as neighborhood motor boat launch. (Additionally, Upper Saranac Lake Marina is 5 minutes away, and Saranac Inn state boat launch is 10 mins away.) There is a large driveway in front of house, and an additional parking spot for a boat or extra car. Guests will also have use of 3 paddling boats (single Field & Stream kayak, single Solara kayak, 2-seat Nova Craft Pal canoe) but need car rack to drive them down to the dock. Location This home is 15 minutes from Tupper Lake and the Wild Center, 25 minutes from Saranac Lake, and 40 minutes from Lake Placid. The Fish Creek Pond state campground is 5 minutes away, as well as Follensby Clear Pond (state camp sites on islands are first come, first served) and the entire St.Regis Canoe Area. Enjoy abundant fishing in nearby lakes and ponds! Saranac Inn golf course is 10 minutes away. Only 15 mins to Lake Clear beach and Donnelly’s Ice Cream. In the winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails abound nearby, and Whiteface or Titus are both less than an hour away. Winter rentals must have snow tires and four-wheel drive! There is a steep hill into the neighborhood.
