We provide a pass for free parks access and kayaks for your adventures or you can use your boat to explore the vast rivers and inlets leading to the ocean or the many restaurants in the Charleston area that have docking for boats. Come for the beach, but stay for the views which are literally surrounded by breathtaking views of the river and marsh that wrap around 3 sides of the home. Bring your binoculars to view the many birds and other wildlife that make regular appearances at the house. Lounge on any of the 4 balconies including main deck with seating for 6, sunrise and sunset balconies, or the relaxing shaded balcony. Prepare dinner for the family in the chef's kitchen featuring granite counters and stainless appliances, that comes fully stocked with pots, pans and all the necessities of the cook in your household. The stainless gas grill as well on the main deck is always available to please. After dinner relax in the living room featuring 50” smart streaming roku TV with premium cable and free WiFi, super comfy sofa and loveseat. The master bedroom suit spans the entire 3rd floor and the most beautiful sunrises you've ever seen from your own personal balcony. It features brand new high end pillow top king mattress. You’ll think you’re sleeping on a cloud. It boasts wide open views of the surrounding river and marsh. Soak and melt away in the master bath's jacuzzi tub. The first floor is a 1BR apartment and is a rental as well if you need more space for a large family you can rent the entire house! *Please note, the river is a tidal river and will dry out at low tide, pets must be approved prior to booking and weekend trips require a 3 night min stay or min booking fee unless attached to another reservation. Great house to enjoy with our adult kids over Thanksgiving break. The house was comfortable and spacious for all of us. Awesome and interesting views to watch the tide come in and out. Very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment for a Thanksgiving dinner, even if we went the untraditional route and grilled out steak on the fantastic grill. This was our first visit to the Charleston area and found it to be very convenient for getting downtown. Oh and if you are looking for Holiday things to do, the James Island County Park Festival of Lights has a fantastic Holiday light display and festival.

Nice place. Stayed with family including our two year old and my older in-laws with mobility issues. A little hard for the older individuals with the stair but it was manageable. Great view! We did experience an unexpected storm (hurricane level rain without the hurricane) it did flood all the parking area, thankfully we only had one vehicle and it fit at the top of the driveway. Which the weather was nicer so we could have checked out the kayaks. The place was clean and had basic kitchen supplies. If you need any special cooking supplies, bring them with you. It was well stocked with the essential like toilet paper, soap, dish and laundry soap, mini shampoo, body wash, lotion, etc. Owner responded to messages quickly. We would stay there again if coming to this area.

We stay in a VRBO usually once a year when attending Parents Weekend at The Citadel. We have had great experiences. This one was the best. The credit for that goes to our host Todd who was "Johnny on the spot" anytime we had a question or needed anything. The view of this property was magnificent. Having kayaks made for some memorable trips up the creek where we saw many dolphins. The bikes allowed us to ride to the beach and over to some historic sites. The house itself was clean, well ordered, and very comfortable. Our favorite thing was the high caliber service we received. WE WILL BE BACK!

We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again! Todd, the owner was friendly and hospitable, taking the time to email not only instructions for the house but some wonderful activities and places to visit and dine! The house is conveniently located between Charleston and Folly Beach. The house was immaculate and comfortably furnished, with decks and a beautiful dock on a lively marsh abundant with wildlife. Todd and his fantastic home made for a memorable and exciting getaway. Thanks Todd!

Beautiful views and comfortable stay. However, the host did not send check-in instructions with the address and confirmation email. So there was some confusion about how to gain access to the apartment. However, once that was settled, we had a great time. The membership pass to the local county parks and kayaking was awesome! We had a great time.

We came in town to see family and have a little family vacation. We loved the location of the home - close to the beach and beautiful water and marsh view. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the access and ease of use of the kayaks. When kayaking both days we were greeted by dolphins that swam around us. Wonderful experience! The beds and layout of the house was perfect fpr our family of 5. Each night we were able to watch a gorgeous sunset from the back porch. Extra bonus we found a yoga studio close by that we absolutely fell in love with - Yohola Yoga Factory. Also since we have an EV, there was a charger at the public library only 1.4 miles away - this was a pleasant surprise and made things easy and convenient. We highly recommend this space and will definitely be back.

The place perfectly accommodated 6 of us for a long weekend. Great views of the sunset from both of the outer decks. The dramatic changing tides are fun to watch. Location is perfect. 15 mins from the city, 10 from Folly Beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication and service from the host, Todd. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!!

Very peaceful place. The neighborhood was a great place to ride bikes. Lots of little extras—washer and dryer with detergent. Bathrooms with shampoo soap conditioner and bow dryer, cleaning supplies, coffee bar, etc.

Pros: Great location with very easy access to Folly Beach. Great porches and lots of windows with views of the marsh. The hosts were very attentive and the house was nicely stocked with toiletry items. Cons: Overall the place felt like an older rental with sub-par furnishings/furniture. The beds were not comfortable and the masters shower was really poor. We struggled with the TV/internet, although the host did try to help! Dont think the price per night matched the quality of the place

We are laid back easy going types. We cooked fresh seafood & explored the area & drank wine, it was perfect!! The view is absolutely gorgeous. I had never been to S Carolina beaches or marsh areas. It was fascinating to me. The sunsets spectacular!!! Walked the neighborhood in the mornings. It was a 10 for us!!

We had a group of 5 stay here over our spring break and it was fantastic all around. Todd, the property owner was extremely helpful and accessible for any questions. The gazebo is incredible, with stunning views of the marsh and amazing birding and wildlife sightings. The home is about 15 minutes from downtown Charleston but feels like a world away, we felt so refreshed and rejuvenated upon leaving. The home itself is stunning, extremely clean and has so much charm. The kitchen appliances and fixtures (plates, pots and pans, glasses, etc) were very well stocked and helpful for making meals. We would stay here many more times! Thank you to Todd!

This was an amazing place. We have rented a lot of different houses over the years for vacation and this was by far the most accommodating to renters as far as stocked -ie extra thick bath towels, extra toiletries and just a very nice place. The renter cares about your stay. Highly recommend. We will rent again. Right on the marsh and beautiful house. We stayed in the upstairs apartment. 5 Star accommodations!

This nice property was conveniently located to Folly Beach downtown and beaches, the county park with an amazing dog park, and shopping. Property manager was communicative and accommodative. The property was fun, on a beautiful marsh, with kayaks and bikes, and in a walkable residential neighborhood.

We had a great time paddling in the marsh from the dock in back yard and driving the to the county park to go to the beach. It was a quick stay but well worth it.

We enjoyed our stay but would not rent again because of the property manager. He was prompt in his communication but was rude, condescending and a total narcissist who has to have the last word. The house was comfortable and the dock was fun for our little boy. The maintenance man was very friendly. The people staying below us had issues with power, crabs coming in and water coming in. Glad we were on the top two floors. Overall a good place to stay if you dont mind being insulted by Tod the property manager.

Enjoyed the beauty of the marshes, the tides going in and out, the sun rising in the morning, and the playful interaction of the birds. The closeness of so many wonderful places to visit and the wonderful cuisine of the area made it a memorable visit. The property with two floors provided privacy and the outdoor decks provided beautiful views. Highly recomend.

We were left a pass and it took a couple days to figure out but the county beach was wonderful and made our stay even better. Only advice would be better explanation of use and a map of where it could be used. We enjoyed our stay!
