The male evening worker was very nice and was the only staff member that was welcoming and helpful. The area was quiet and close to a rocky seaside.

The female brunette staff was extremely unwelcoming and unhelpful. When greeted would just stare and not respond. When we were leaving asked her for the items blonde staff put in the freezer for us and she just stared at past me speaking in Portuguese to the two cleaners and didtbother to move. The blonde staff member then came from the side and told me she would get my items for me. She then got the items for me. The brunette staff member did not once respond to be. Just so rude and unwelcoming. She was also on facetime while working. The main hotel owner would also sit in the front area and not speak or even smile at you. Was at the hotel for 4 nights and beddings were not changed just made. Room gets really warm. They also do not have an airport to hotel transfer transport. I had asked if they did and if it was an extra charge and was told that they used a taxi company but failed to mention the additional charge. I advise not to use their taxi firm as the person charged €10 for a 6 minute (2.9km) but bolt charges around €5. Additionally, breakfast was limited. In general, would not recommend hotel or Madeira as a holiday destination as people are unwelcoming, rude and racist.

Good 3*, but it's not 4* standard. No issues, just not exceptional neither.

We had a great stay at hotel, clean comfortable. Great breakfast. Location couldn't be better, just a minute walk to local supermarket, 3 minutes walk to local restaurants and 5 minutes walk to the sea side. Staff was exceptional especially Jonathan who guided us around, always very helpful which is massive credit to hotel. We got a little present for my partner's birthday. We were just made up. Thank you! We can't wait to cone back ! See you sooon!

Fabulous as always! Extremely good team of staff. The breakfast chef with her breakfasts cooked fresh to oder are the highlight of every morning!

The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. The bed in the room was comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast choice is limited but it was enough for us. We especially appreciated the eggs and pancakes that were made in front of you, always good and fresh! The location of the hotel is good because there are stores, restaurants and public transportation in walking distance. Also the city Funchal and the airport are near by. Free parking is also a big PLUS!

The room itself is beautiful but a bitt too small.

Everything was awesome about our stay at this hotel. First of all our special requirements were taken into account, the room was super spacious with lovely view and balcony. Everything was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The communication with hotel before arriving very good and we received quick answers to all questions. Good price compared to other hotels. Location is great, 7 min drive from airport, there is bus stop right next to hotel where you can take bus to Funchal or Machico. The breakfast was very good and delicious, kitchen staff very friendly. So was reception staff and manager, really great team took care that we could enjoy our stay for 100%. The beach is 3min walk away, also there is a lovely pool available. We are very satisfied with our stay, and will definitely stay again when traveling back to beautiful Madeira.😊❤️

If I have to find anything negative, the only thing that comes to my mind is that reception guy did not gave any information about breakfast time, pool facilities etc., but as we checked in after midnight, probability he was just a bit sleepy.😊

Excellent stuff , very good hotel , good breakfast I am in love with this place, when I will come back I will only stay to this hotel.

The staff is very friendly and willing the help with everything. The room is very cosy and and everything is renewed. I have back issues myself and I slept very good! When we checked in they gave us an upgrade to a bigger room. For the breakfast you can order everything like pancakes, beans, scrambled eggs. everything very clean. also the city center of Madeira is only 10 minutes away from the hotel. Everything was perfect amazing hotel !! I would recommend 1000%.
