Hermoso y antíguo hotel, muy bien conservado. Atención insupera ble, cerca de la Iglesi de San Francisco, una experiencia muy buena. El desayuno fue espectacular, todo el hotel es una joya. Tiene dos estrellas yo le daría una más por lo menos.

Beaucoup de charme, une belle déco de meubles et objets anciens dans les parties communes

Situé à l'entrée de l'enceinte de la ville, à 2 pas de la basilique St François, certes il faut monter pour accéder aux autres sites de la ville, mais rien de rédhibitoire!

Would definitely stay again - rooms comfortable, breakfast excellent and people friendly

People were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was comfortable and although sparse had all the amenities. I glanced at room with a view and those are very nice with incredible views. Parking was only a block away and hotel provided a discount card. Exceptional location

Good value.

Staff was extremely helpful and took a lot of time in replying to questions concerning visiting the city and finding a bus to the station and a train to Firenze. The location is excellent for visiting the Basilica but further away of the other sites to visit in town. I regret that I missed lunch, breakfast was very good.

My room did not have much of a view but tis meant that it was very quiet .

Disappointing

The bed was particularly hard and uncomfortable, as compared to other hotels in Italy. The bedding was basically just a sheet that felt rough and a weird blanket. There was mold in the shower.

The restaurant not being open for lunch. There were no restaurants open in the town for dinner when we were there.

Exceptional

Warm welcome from front desk and loved the breakfast along with the cozy room. It was a little small but the bathroom was fabulous with a great shower with great water pressure! Also the staff was super helpful in helping us navigate town and hiring taxis to get us around.

Beautiful stay!

The position of the hotel is perfect! It is in the lower part of Assisi just few meters away from piazza San Francesco d'Assisi. The hotel is very close to the parking area Parcheggio Saba, Giovanni Paolo II (which is a parking area on different levels under floor) and thanks to an agreement between the hotel and the parking area instead of paying 14euro per day you pay 12 euro per day. Keep in mind that the San Francesco Cathedral is right next to the hotel but all the other main attractions are not far from the hotel but the way may be very steep! The hotel is located in an historical building. It is surrounded by cafeterias, souvenir shops and restaurants. The hotel's interior is ancient, charming and very clean. The 3 people room is big enough, it has air conditioner, television, towels, a small hair drier, soaps. The corridors and rooms are very quiet and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is both sweet and salty. The staff is polite and keen to help you whenever you need info or you need anything during your stay.

Unfortunately there is no fridge in the bedroom and in summer it should be a good thing to have one fridge for keeping the water cold instead of purchasing it in the souvenir' shops for 2euro each a small bottle. Our bedroom was located 4th floor over the kitchen and we could smell the food cooked while just opening the window.

nice breakfast. you can ask for all the cappuccino as you want. Just brioches are limited for each person. they make cakes and coffee too

Affordable, comfortable room!

location was fine. definitely fewer restaurants at this end of town, but it was easy to get around. Loved having breakfast included. After 11 days of walking a pilgrimmage, the bed/room/AC were lovely. Room was clean, everything worked. No complaints at all.

It would have been nice if the hotel restaurant was open for dinner, just for convenience, but it wasn't a critical issue. No other issues.

A night in Assisi

The position was excellent very near the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. The link bus to the station was also very near. The room was clean, light and airy the bed comfortable and the bathroom and shower facilities good. We had lunch and breakfast in the restaurant and the food was very nice. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing I didnt like.
