Calme et magnifique

Situation exceptionnelle et vues magnifiques notamment en terrasse pour le petit déjeuner lui-même excellent. Chambre de belles dimensions très calme.

Great experience, best place to stay in Monemvasia.

The staff, the location and the room were comfortable, clean and just beautiful. I could not have been happier with the service and with the warmth of the staff at the hotel. The coffee was perfect in the morning as was the fresh squeezed orange juice brought to the table.

I liked everything.

Memorable stay in Monemvasia

We were upgraded to a beautiful room by the very friendly and hospitable hosts. Our room was spotlessly clean and very cosy and warm (we stayed during winter). We had breakfast outdoors in a sunny courtyard; the food was simple, fresh and tasty.

We enjoyed our stay - unique experience

A very unique stay. Comfortable and clean room. Amazing views.

Arriving after dark made it difficult to navigate to find our dinner. We eventually did but a map upon check i. would have been helpful. Anyone with mobility issues should be weary about this stay- lots of walking, stairs, etc

We booked this place last minute because we wanted to spend the night. Beautiful room, they were very accommodating! Breakfast on the little terrace was very nice.

Our of the nicest very clean and also have normal shower that we have ever stayed at. Beautiful family run property.

Very unique and beautiful. All furniture hand crafted and made to fit each individual room for total comfort. The staff amazing and Hayton do anything for you. Amazing place to visit and our hotel topped it off.

Beautiful place, wonderfully located. Very confortable room. Very nice staff.

Some noise coming from the square in front of the room (very little crowded but as the room overlooks the square and everything is so peaceful, the noise of an animated conversation can be disturbing). But you can close the window and switch on the airco to get rid of it.

Exceptional get-away in the heart of Monemvasia!

Nestled in the heart of old Monemvasia, Likinia offered a tranquil get-away with easy access to shoppes, restaurants and more. The staff were exceptional, and the morning breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The hotel is perfectly placed in the center of Monemvasia. Directions were provided before our arrival for a smooth journey. Staff were really friendly and provided us with useful information throughout our stay.

A incredible, unique experience staying in Monemvasia

The staff were great, they supported us with our dietary requirements for breakfast. The staff even did our laundry for free to help us out, it was very sweet how they brought it back to our room. The room had a lot of character, it was spacious which we enjoyed, and we love the little balcony we had. The location was in the heart of Monemvasia which I would recommend if you want to experience this unique town. Great restaurants nearby. the staff arranged carriers to help with our luggage in and out of the town (no cars can come inside the ancient wall) I can tell the staff put a lot of work into this place and that was noticed!

Only on one occasion, we could hear the TV very loudly from another room which was unpleasant as we were resting.

Ideally located in the middle of the old town, still quiet. Splendid view from the windows. Spacious enough for the three of us (given the strict building regulations in the old town). Nice handmade breakfast.

The specific room lacked a balcony. Some other rooms did have balconies. It was not an issue for us, but should be taken into account when booking.

Superb

We stayed at Likinia Hotel in Monemvasia for one night, sharing a room between three adults. The room was spacious as advertised and perfectly clean. The hotel is located in restored old stone buildings and the restoration has been performed perfectly with a lot of attention to detail meaning that it actually feels like living in a little castle! However, all 21st century amenities are offered, even with decent WIFI reception and internet speed. The hotel is located in the old Monemvasia town center but slightly to the rear end of town meaning that it is very quiet at night but only a three minute walk to the main path where all bars, shops and restaurants are located. The owner of the hotel was lovely and took good care of us as their guests, she likes to chat to everyone :) The breakfast was fantastic as everything was very tasty and most of the dishes home made! Try the traditional scrambled eggs with tomato (Kayana)! Coffee was good and the orange juice was freshly pressed on the spot and just perfect. The breakfast area is under a small arch and in the garden, offering protection from the heat in summer and makes for a perfect spot to start the day. Overall a brilliant little hotel with lovely owners! Can fully recommend to spend some time there and explore Monemvasia!

An amazing experience! A MUST for anyone visiting Monemvasia.

The staff, the place, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the view, the overall experience, 11 out of 10!!! The hostess 'Voula', what a 'lady' ! The decor in the rooms, tastefully chosen......the overall feel, upmarket, style, excellence. A MUST for anyone visiting Monemvasia. Don't waste any time.....book it!!! 😀

Anyone finding anything wrong with this place, needs therapy 😉 All is just amazing!!!

Wonderful 3-night stay

We highly recommend Likinia Hotel if you are staying at Monemvasia Castle! The entire staff was welcoming and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We stayed in Rm 7; immaculately clean, spacious and cosy. Breakfast was plentiful, the staff were amazing! Ms. Voula, the owner is a sweet woman and wonderful host-thank you! We will return soon!:) Tips: Monemvasia Castle is not recommended for persons with mobility issues. Thank you again everyone at Likinia Hotel! (photo of view from room 7.
