About this condo rental
Maui Sunset is a beautiful oceanfront resort and is the perfect vacation home on Maui. Swim in the large swimming pool or just enjoy sitting on a chaise lounge by the pool or in the jet spa. It is especially beautiful in the evening relaxing under the stars and enjoying the tiki lights around the pool. The resort also has two tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, putting green, an exercise room, gas BBQ grills, etc. Watch the sun rise over Haleakala Crater and set over the ocean. Our condo (Unit A216) is located on the 2nd floor and has a great view overlooking the pool to the ocean. There are two bathrooms, both with walk-in shower. Our unit is fully air conditioned and also has ceiling fans. The bedroom has a luxury pillow top king bed and there is a queen sized sofa sofa bed and a twin sized pillow top daybed in the living room. Enjoy the convenience of a complete kitchen. The kitchen includes stainless steel electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster and coffeepot. We also provide dishes, pots and pans as well as an iron and ironing board. All towels (including beach towels) and linens are provided. Relax watching the cable TV or sit on our large 112 sq. ft. private lanai enjoying the view of the pool and ocean as well as the gorgeous sunsets. In the winter be sure and watch for the whales. Maui Sunset is on the southwest side of Maui in Kihei and is approximately 12 miles from the Kahului Airport. It is close to miles of sandy beaches as well as restaurants, grocery stores and golf courses.

Loved everything about our stay. Lady at the desk during check in was very courteous and helpful. Everything we needed for a great stay especially outdoor activities was provided. Would definitely come again if the opportunity presented itself.

Our stay was great, as usual. The grounds are huge and wonderfully maintained. Our room A216 was nice. The only complaints are that the AC unit leaked onto the balcony and the water did not run off so it was always collected by the sliding door, which was also very hard to open/close. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Loved not only the condo, but the entire complex. Our kids enjoyed the pool, shuffleboard, putting green, and live music. We love staying in Kihei when we visit Maui! Loved the location right off the elevator. Made it easy to load and unload the car each day. Beach essentials (chairs, towels, umbrella) also came in super handy! The additional twin bed was a plus for my kids as they were able to spread out at night. Will definitely stay again!

This was our 2nd stay in Kihei, first in this property, and a very enjoyable experience! The property is ideally located in the middle of Kihei with a nice, big, walkable, grassy area leading down to the adjacent beach. Condo unit was nice, two good A/C units and lots of fans, and a bonus is it has two full baths. Price was reasonable and check-in was a snap. The only minus is the unit is right next to the elevator and sometimes noisy people and kids didn't respect the keep-quiet signs. We'll definitely stay here again on a future visit! 5 stars.

Perfect location. Great pool and ocean views. Walking distance for dining, shopping and groceries. Beautiful Keawakapu beach closeby with plenty of parking. This is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

I would recommend this property. It is in a great location, very close to the beach and nicely kept grounds. The condo had everything you may need. There are a few minor things that we would like to see changed but as mentioned, they are minor. We would stay here again.

This unit is a in a wonderful location with a great pool and beach access. The unit is clean with a great balcony. Just a heads up- if you are a light sleeper the bedroom is right near the elevator and walk way, in the AM it can be a little loud but not terrible. The owner was excellent at communicating with me. Would highly recommend this unit and complex.

This condo was just what we needed. A nice one bedroom, kitchen with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Pullout couch and extra which we never used. Pool and hottub was fabulous. The best part was Lenai and the views to the ocean. Every day we watched the sunset. Easy access to everything. I would come back again.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying here. Would definitely recommend it. The Lanai had a nice view of the pool with the ocean backdrop. The unit was stocked with the beach-necessities (ie. beach umbrellas, chairs). AC in both the main area and bedroom made it very comfortable. Was everything we needed & would definitely recommend!

Great property and the condo was perfect. Had everything we needed. I reached out to maintenance once about the ac leaking on the carpet but they said that was due to the wind. I was afraid it wasn’t due to the wind and the owner had a leak. May need to check on that to prevent major issue. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Maui Sunset. Condo is very convenient to get into and out of for exploring the island. The oceanfront space is great for relaxing in the evenings and enjoying the sunset.
The condo was clean with a full kitchen that was great for cooking meals and saving money from eating out all the time. The space was more than enough for two people and would be great for a family with a couple kids.
Clean, comfortable, and well stocked with beach supplies such as chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards.
Would definitely book again.

We had a great time at this condo last summer. The owner was easy to communicate with and the unit was perfect for our family. We liked being on the beach side (Safer not to cross the main street) it also had a nice pool and most importantly a hut-tub we used most nights. A few very minor things were broken in the condo but the owner said it would be fixed between renters. Overall an A+++ experience for us. We would definitely rent this unit again. 👍

The condo was great for what we needed. With 3 kids (ages 5-9), there was enough room for all of us to sleep and having a kitchen and washer/dryer was huge. Going out to eat for every meal was outside our budget so this allowed us to get groceries and make most of our breakfasts and lunches.
The location is good. You have a partial view of the ocean and the pool is close by. There are better beaches within a short drive but the one by the condo works too.
Finally, the owner was really responsive which is important in case anything comes up. On the first day we had trouble connecting to the Wi-fi and they responded immediately with a solution.

Really great hub for my time on Maui- which included traveling effectively to each corner of the island. Location is super convenient, and the apartment itself comes with everything you need-- it's was very thoughtful designed and the complex itself has a lot of fun unadvertised bonuses (e.g. lawn games, herb garden, rental sports equipment, and live music shows). I found it to be sufficiently spacious for 4 adults (the pull out couch is surprisingly super comfortable). Really a hidden gem among the bunch. I'd be more than happy to come back and stay here again.

Very clean and well taken care of. The grounds were beautiful and the beach access was right outside your room. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a condo with a full kitchen, laundry, pool, and beach on their vacation stay.

This cute little condo has everything you need to enjoy the beach without having to lug it all with you! The lanai was the perfect place for coffee and tea in the morning and cocktails in the evening. It's a short walk to the beach to watch the sunset.
Overall, the location is central enough that it's just a short drive to where ever you want to go...

This is our second stay in this unit and, as you can tell, we like coming back. The location of the complex is perfect, walkable to Kihei, shopping, and next to the beach. The breezes are always there as so we didn't have to turn on the AC at all. Kitchen is well stocked, laundary machines in the unit were great, and the owners are wonderful to work with. We will be back again!

Exactly as pictured - having the day bed worked well for our college daughter. It came with everything we needed and then some extra beach items which were great to have. Condo was clean and it was nice to have two bathrooms after a long day at the beach. Location worked well for us as we explored most of the island and this made a good home base for our adventures. Owner was great to work with before arrival and no need to contact her during our stay.

Dated yet fully functional condo with immaculate grounds, view if the water, balcony, beach access and super helpful hosts. I would stay here again. Easy parking, awesome pool, clean grills available for use.

Very pleased with our stay here in Kehie. Was in constant communication with the property manager as things were constantly changing with travel due to Covid. They responded in a timely manner and Provided the needed info. The condo is perfect. It has all the amenities you need and also has the beach essentials, chairs, umbrellas and towels. We stopped by the grocery story and loaded up with groceries. We made breakfast and packed lunches for our trips to the beach. Washer and dryer made it easy to clean out stuff. Now let’s talk about the location, most beautiful sunsets and you have your very own private beach. Bring beach shoes because of the rocks but you can see turtles and snorkel. They have lots of amenities in the complex as well that made our stay very pleasant.
Thank you to Chris ans Terry. We had to extend our stay by one more day due to change of times with our flight and cancelled flight. They were very accommodating and luckily the condo was available for one more day. Thank you for the hospitality and a great time. Highly recommend.

The property was exactly as expected with an excellent view of the green and pool area. The flat is near to the elevator which was convenient, however it disrupts natural cool air flow through the flat. Our family’s flat had excellent ventilation and could rely on this air flow to keep the flat cool. We made use of the a/c so we could comfortably sleep.

We loved this condo! It was tastefully decorated and had everything you need for a stay in Maui, just add food and drinks and it's HOME. It was very clean and comfortable and had extra beach chairs, a boogie board, umbrellas, and a pool noodle. The complex is beautiful and family oriented. We felt safe and cared for and would hands down stay again. Thank you!

The location of this property is excellent. We checked in after hours and it still took less than 5 minutes. Unit itself was clean and well equipped. The unit could use some refreshing - carpet throughout (especially in a humid climate) makes it somewhat musty. The pull out couch mattress is garbage (literal springs in a 50 lbs child back). Otherwise, excellent unit. Would 100% stay there again (especially if the mattress was updated).
