This is a super cute little barn house. There is a ladder to get up to the queen bed area. The outside area was just what we were looking for- camp fire ring and a fence to separate you from the neighbors. There is no cook top or burner- but there is a slow cooker and an electric skillet. Both perfect for cooking. The sky is super clear and we were able to enjoy the stars.

We went over thanksgiving break and loved our stay here. The house was very clean and comfy and I enjoyed how many efforts were made to make sure the house was comfortable.

This was a great weekend. Was able to surprise my father with this weekend stay he really enjoyed and the fact that it is between trees and mountains made it even better. It was very relaxing and not only that there was a lot to see and explore. I thank the host for making us comfortable and letting us stay. Highly recommended place to stay!

Small, but Cozy. Worked great for our family (2 adults, 3 children). Hosts were great.

This cabin was actually quite spacious for two people. The loft upstairs allowed standing room. The other cabins are fairly close together, which is a great setup for larger groups who want to rent out their own, but there is still privacy in each cabin and each yard. Plenty of hiking, waterfalls, and attractions nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Brian and Iris were great hosts and had excellent communication. The location is great. Close enough for day trips to anywhere in Smoky Mountains National Park, but much quieter if you want to avoid the crowds.

I rented thos place for my aunt and uncle and it was exactly what we needed. Description and everything was on point. Very friendly owners and close to my home with a comfy bed for my family. Tiny and perfect after a fun day of playing in the mountains.

The house was clean, has everything you need, and the hosts were glad to answer any questions we had. It was the perfect tiny house. We had 2 adults and 3 children (4,2&1y.o) who enjoyed this place.

The Barn House is just as you’d imagine, rustic and uncomplicated. Turns out that’s all we needed. Owner communication is very good as well.

Sometimes you just want to get a way for a couple of days. We had a great time in our cozy little house. Everything to you need and close to a ton of trails, lakes and nature. We will be going back next year.

Brian's tiny Barn House is as advertised. It was clean, had a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. It's not a frilly place, and we didn't expect it to be. Brian is a very gracious host. He even offered us an extra night since there was some landscaping work going on adjacent to our house that stretched throughout the day.
The one issue is the internet. There is next to none. Do not expect to stream anything on the TV. This place illustrates why rural broadband needs an upgrade in the US.

Nice secluded cabin just a short drive from the tail of the dragon. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next stay.

This cute little barn house is perfect for a couple. It was very clean and in a peaceful neighborhood. Woke up to the sounds of birds chirping every morning really enjoyed how peaceful it is there. It was centrally located to everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. only thing I would suggest is adding some hooks or a small hanging tree for jackets or clothing

We loved staying at The Barn. It's such a cozy little place. We appreciated the festive touch and amenities the owners provided. It's an enjoyable place to stay and such a great location between Bryson city and Tail of the dragon. You're within 30 minutes to an hour away from some great hiking which we love.

This was our second year in a row coming to the barn house for our anniversary. This was our 14th. Can’t say anything but nice things for the barn house and for it’s hosts. Thinking of coming back with our children in the spring. Definitely one of our favorite places to visit. Thanks again to our hosts Brian and Iris.

We liked the red barn. Would have preferred not having a loft to climb up and down. But enjoyed our stay

This was a perfect place to stay for privacy and quiet. The water feature and hammocks is a nice touch. I rode my motorcycle on the Dragons Tail just minutes from this site. Although, I would never risk riding on the steep gravel driveway. But the parking was perfect if you trailer your bike. The hosts were kind enough to modify my itinerary and Im so glad I came. The weather was great all three days!

It was infested with ants in the owner was a really nice guy I can’t complain about him. But his behavior after the fact when I asked for a refund was where his behavior was wrong. How are you yelled at me on the telephone and all that stuff but do I suggest to stay here? Yes absolutely it’s a beautiful place great customer service I just think he couldn’t except the custom constructive criticism that’s all

Nice little place to stay with lots to do in the area! The owners were very helpful and communicated quickly. Only down side is the the bed in the loft is really hard so bring a mattress cover.

The listing stated 2 AC units.. only 1... it was too hot to sleep in the bed upstairs.
Then the temperature changed in the rain... it was cold... they said there were instructions to turn on heat.. they had turned the pilot light off...
The listing stated hot plate with pots and pans.. and an electric skillet... none in the cabin.. when it rains water in the walk way over your shoes.
Had an emergency.. Mother in law passed away the weekend before.. ask for a refund... owners would not refund.. no since of compassion..

cute as button, responsive owners to emails. the Wifi was very weak and the tv/netflix didi not work due to weak wifi. The listing says 2 bedrooms, which is a stretch. There is a loft with a bed and the second "bedroom" is the living room couch. The bed was comfortable, but the window unit AC is down below the loft, making it hot in the loft during the summer. There is a ceiling fan which helps, but it is not adequate. Please note, beyond a coffee maker and coffee cups, there are no necessities: cups, bowls, plates, silverware etc. ZERO. Make sure you are prepared for this. The bathroom was nice and comfortable.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy little barn house. It was perfect for the two of us. We visit the area often to kayak on lake Santeetlah. We kayaked all day, then returned to the barn house in the evening and grilled up some steak and shrimp over the fire pit out back in the evening. Love it! We will visit again!

Very clean, quaint “little house” in a peaceful location, perfect for winding down. Tail of The Dragon and Tapoco Tavern is only 15-mins away and supplies can be purchased 5 mins away in Robbinsville. Plenty of parking space for motorbikes, car etc.
Excellent communication with hosts.

Brian and Iris are amazing hosts!! Me and my goddaughters and my mom had a blast checking out Yellow Creek Falls and the lake.

It is a wonderful cabin just a few minutes from everything. It was cozy, and clean, and the snacks they left came in handy when I got rained in on my motorcycle. Completely enjoyable, despite the weather.
