Things to Know: A credit card is required for the $250 security deposit requested at check in. This is a cashless resort. A credit or debit card is required for on-site purchases. The fee includes numerous amenities including, premium WiFi for unlimited devices ($50 weekly value), unlimited use of arcades, gas grill and gazebo, DVD rentals, movie theater, popcorn, mini-golf, tennis, and kid's activities (crafts and games). The amenities were great. The floors may have been a little creaky, but it wasn't unbearable. Everything in the unit was fine and worked as needed/expected - although a little closer look at cleaning would be good, especially on the outdoor patio/deck. But overall, no great complaints and we would definitely go back.

Had a unit by the pond and saw lots of ducks, ducklings and turtles. As soon as it got dark, the tree frogs started up - which I’m used to but some might be disturbed by them throughout the night. Loved the salt water pool. Very friendly check in/check out process - no issues.

Wonderful time hanging out in the pool, theater, playing putt putt and the tennis courts. Kids enjoyed the outdoor game stations and arcade as well!

Great location. Close to attractions. Great amenities. Bathrooms could use a little more attention. Only complaint would be the room above. Every step they took sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. I would stay here again.

Great family friendly budget resort. The outdoor family pool is great, however a bit small for the number of guests at the resort. There was limited seating. The free putt-putt and arcades were a fantastic feature for our family of four! The property itself is dated, however parts of the property are being renovated. We were close to Williamsburg and Jamestown. It was about an hour drive to Virginia Beach. It was a good option for our family.

We had a great vacation in Virginia. Wyndham Kingsgate was located in the heart of everything. The rental property was very well kept and the amenities met all our needs. Will definitely do this again. I would greatly recommend this rental to anyone looking for quality family time in a gated community that offers peace and serenity.

Our stay was pretty good. It had a few hiccups, but overall I would most definitely stay again. I know they were short staffed as are many places so we can pass on some grace here. They made a few mistakes, most notably they transposed our room numbers the first try, but it was an honest mistake and totally forgivable. We loved all the amenities and would definitely stay again and have recommend to friends.

Booking was good. We arrived early good thing we got all our stuff out of the way and just had to wait for room to be ready. Hated ck in I shouldn't be forced to the concierge desk. I asked if we could have ground floor they told us we were ready assigned ground floor. Someone in our group had a bad knee and couldn't do steps well. When I finally received our keys we were on the second floor it was alot of steps and very difficult however I wasn't standing in an hour line again to get a room.change. also our bathroom had no shower curtain we were going out and they said someone would hang one I gave permission for them to be in room while we were gone, no shower curtain was ever hung. The place was small but worked for us.

My daughter and grandson and I needed a spring get away from NJ. Although I have a timeshare Williamsburg-it was unavailable- so I was glad I found this property on Vrbo - it was a great price and offered several amenities The rooms were a nice size, although I didn’t get to spend time in the pool, theater, or game rooms/ I was quite impressed with the layout of the facilities. I understand why I was charged an additional fee for use of the facilities. I just wish I had more time to enjoy them.

We were looking for a quick getaway for our 2 teens' Spring Break, not too far from home. This resort offered every amenity needed and some that we may have wanted for a longer stay. Staff was friendly, check in/out was efficient, and location was close to theme parks, dining, and other venues of interest.

We've stayed at Kingsgate several times and we enjoy the amenities. The staff does a nice job being accommodating. However, the place is showing some age. In our room, a shower door was broken as well as a minor part of the dishwasher. General suite decor is looking dated but everything on the property is clean, and I believe they're beginning to renovate some rooms. We would come back again. Great location for area activities.

Resort was pleasant. We chose this resort because of the offered amenities. Site did not let you know that almost ALL of them were closed due to COVID restrictions. I support and appreciate guidelines and safety, but would like to have known they were closed as this is why we chose to stay here. My family was disappointed, especially my grandson, that the playground and activity center/game room were closed. Grouping size and restrictions were NOT enforced at pool area for COVID.
