NEW virtual tour! Check it out. This place has the BEST sunsets. Seriously! On Golden Pond #5, aka OGP5! 5BR Lagoonfront private home. A wonderful house is located directly on the waterfront of Little Lagoon with easy access to the community dock, beach, and pool. Carefree days for up to 21, and a great deal too! Your family or friends will love it here.... BEDDING: Main Floor Bedroom: King + QSS 3rd Floor NE Master Bedroom: King 3rd Floor NW Bedroom: 2 Fulls 3rd Floor SE Bedroom: 1 Twin over Full Bunk 3rd Floor SW Bedroom: 2 Twin over Full Bunks Main Floor Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa In addition to the awesome lagoon front features, like the dock and small beach, access to the Gulf is via the 12th street public access which is a short direct walk up 12th (right next to our Seafoam home!). LOCATION! Lagoon front. This home has fabulous views over the lagoon. So nice. So tranquil. And those sunsets! Wow! Situated in a small neighborhood of mostly owner occupied homes, this great home shares a very cool lagoon front pool with the neighborhood and shares a lagoon fishing dock too! POOL? You bet. Guests of OGP5 have access to the community pool, right on the lagoon! Bonus, there is a small lagoon side beach right by the pool, along with a fishing dock! The pool is 24x14' big, and 3-5' deep! BEACH ACCESS OGP 5 has access to the small lagoon side beach by the community pool, and it is only a short walk of less than 1/4 mile to the beach the 13th street public beach (next to my Seafoam home!). These is a pedestrian cross walk to help you get across West Beach to that public beach too! PLUS there is a back trail from near our home to access all the fun and fishing at Calloway Bridge too! PARKING There is available onsite parking for 4-5 vehicles. WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally rock solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction! SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. PETS We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire. Subject to restrictions which often vary by season. Again, please inquire. No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time! Need something a little smaller (or to add another place nearby?). Beautiful home in a wonderful location. We spent a week here with friends. The kids loved the private sandbox area:). The views were gorgeous. Easy access to the beach. The house was clean and furnished beautifully. You do need to pack bath towels and washcloths unless you want to wash the few provided every day. The combination of bunk beds, regular beds and pull-out couch worked well for our families.

My family & I enjoyed our stay May 2023. The first day we had a couple of minor repairs that we requested. The maintenance folks were awesome! They were quick to respond and took care of everything. They were professional and friendly. We really enjoyed fishing and the house over looking the lagoon provided amazing sunsets and wild life to watch. There was lot's of space for our group of 9. Having all the separate balconies came in handy when we needed a little separation. ( lol) We cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Some of the furnishings could stand to be updated as they are showing their age and some of the doors don't operate properly. The first floor bedroom neither door latches properly and the middle of that bed has a hump. I think possibly a bed frame issue? Other than that we all slept comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed your home! I highly recommend it!!

Perfect home for large family. We very much enjoyed our stay. Everyone had their own space and the open floor plan was perfect to host our family of 6 for Christmas dinner. The kitchen has all the basic necessities (equipment and dish-wise) for meal preparation. Also a beautiful view.

Such wonderful home and located just a quick walk from the beach. The house had everything as advertised.....two coffee pots: regular coffee pot and a Keurig, a TV in every bedroom, a newer washer and dryer, lots of space for everyone, great views from multiple balconies and plenty of parking. The rental company is extremely thorough in their communication before, during, and after your stay with all the details of the stay, check in and check out directions, suggestions of restaurants and things to do, etc. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

We had 5 kids and 5 adults staying. Plenty of room for all of us with the ability to spread out. We were able to walk to the beach and only few minutes drive to restaurants when we weren't cooking at home. It was really quiet and the balconies looking over the lagoon was amazing!! We also noticed a water leak but I called and they had someone out there within a couple of hours. We will definitely be back!!!

We loved our stay in your home. The guy who came to look at things was very friendly. I told him the new bed could wait (as the memory foam would take time to fully open). He fixed the cabinets quickly (I was concerned one of our little ones would have the door fall on their feet). Your home had everything we needed (even had a few extra beds which never seems to happen for us). The dock is a place we loved as it was the only place with a little breeze during the terrible heat. The kids loved the pool and the ocean of course. I did forget to mention that we think the dishwasher may have an issue. It never seemed to go off (would run for a few hours) so we would cancel it after an hour as dishes were clean. But thanks again and will consider you all on our next trip to gulf shores!!!!

Wonderful house and location! Plenty of space for a large group coming down to the beach. Scenic location by the water - quiet and peaceful, but a quick walk across the street gets you straight to the beach. Close to plenty of restaurants and activities. All the basic supplies are provided at the house - kitchen wares, including a coffee pot and keurig, plenty of towels, washer and dryer, dishwasher, etc. Loved all the communication from Bama Beach Houses. We felt fully prepared with all the information we needed for a wonderful stay. Would definitely book with them again.

A beautiful home with plenty of space. Close to many activities, but plenty of privacy. Wonderful view and just a short walk to the beach. Step out of the back door and fish from the semi-private dock or swim in the pool. We will definitely go here again for our beach vacations.

The property location was great for our family. Could definitely use some updates. When we turned on the ceiling fan in upstairs master dust dropped all over the bed could have been cleaner over all. Kitchen definitely needed a few more pots and pans. Could definitely use new stove/oven, other appliances were updated and very nice.

This home is absolutely perfect for a large family, interested in kayaking, fishing or just enjoying the sunset over the lagoon. Just a short 5-10 mins walk to the ocean. Pool was clean and although a shared pool we found it never to be busy. The house lay out was perfect. Tons of setting on the main level. The house was clean and the bedrooms were comfortable. We had a great stay here! We had two families with young kids. We considered many properties and agreed that this was definitely the best option-access to the pool, lagoon, a great house with lots of space, and walking distance to the beach. It took about 15 minutes to walk from the house to a spot on the beach with young kids. We had a great time and already booked a return trip. Thanks!

Management company was excellant at communication through the entire process. Vavation home was peefect for our large family. Ample space and privacy for all of us. Peefect location for the beach, attractions and crab dock for our family that loves to crab and fish. Home could use some updates but we still loved our time here.

This is our second time at this property. Would highly recommend. The house has comfortable beds, plenty of seating, large island for preparing meals. Great location! Beautiful lagoon views from all windows from the back of the house. Fishing pier, pool, short walk to the beach. I will be back next year!
