We enjoyed The Little Red on the river. Nice to be able to enjoy the view of the river out of your backdoor. We did some fishing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gas logs didn’t work for us but we stayed warm. Our daughter was able to ride her one wheel since the yard was level. Fun stay!

A beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. It is very calming and peaceful. You can sit on the back porch and just let the New River's white noice calm your spirit. Suggestion: Pack in meals and drinks. It is a good little drive to the closet store.

I took my wife for her birthday to this cabin in the mountains for her birthday. The cabin was spotless and exactly what was shown and exactly what we hoped for. I had a couple of questions for the property manager, Jerrita, who text me back before i was able to put my phone back on the counter! Excellent service and cabin overlooking the river. I will definitely stay in this cabin again if we are in the area as a good cabin along with great communications with the property managment made for a truly wonderful stay. Thank you!

Perfect getaway from the city. Quiet. Peaceful open yard for the kids to play in. Awesome porch to just sit and relax. So simple yet it was one of the most relaxing vacations we took this year.

You can’t beat the location and view on New River. The rocking chair front porch was peaceful at all times of the day. We will definitely return. It’s a sweet little cabin with a bit of old fashioned charm. Stovetop and some of the kitchen pots and pans need a good scrubbing but main area and bedrooms were very clean.

Nice place by the river. Nice little community. My boys made friends and played in the water until the sun went down. We had a fire along the water (bring your own wood). Nice porch to dine on. Open space for running kids and nice place for the little ones. Not far from town. Just around the way.

Our family had a wonderful 5 days & 4 nights at this property. It was a very convenient place to stay during a Wedding venue at the "Timber Rivers Wedding & Event" location. Check in was very easy and they even allowed us to check in early for a very small fee. We drove 10 hours to get there from Delaware. Our first impression was the covered wrap around porch with very nice rocking chairs with a peaceful view of the babbling brook. They have a nice firepit that allowed us to make a beautiful bon fire at night. Remember to bring your own kindling to get it started. But my son found wood under the porch. Many places sell it right outside of their store. Upon entry, we were very happy to observe nicely appointed décor that was very comfortable. We were surprised to find 3 Smart TVs in the cabin. 1 in Family room & 1 in each bedroom. The fridge was more than enough space for our stay & very clean. Most everything seems new. On chilly nights, we would use their Gas fireplace. But, be careful, the cabin will go from 60 degrees to 90 degrees in only 15 minutes on "high" setting!!! I was so shocked that I even took a picture of the thermostat because me extended family would not believe me when I told them that. So, we would recommend that you START the fireplace on the Lowest setting and if that is not warm enough after 15 mins, slowly adjust upwards. It is so efficient, that I now want to replace my own home's wood burning fireplace with this one! If you choose to bring your dog, there is plenty of grass that your pet can run and play in between the house, river and neighbors. We would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in this area. We also recommend the "Stay Blue Ridge" organization because they are very kind, considerate, responsive and have a huge selection from which to choose.
