Boasting great mountain views on the drive up and dirt road going to the house and blanketed by stars in the evening, this serene retreat is conveniently located a mile and a half away from the beach and near Lake Elmore, with vibrant food and drink scene in Morrisville just a short drive away. Featuring original fixtures and design, including exposed beams, brick, and beautiful wood floors, this gorgeous home has been lovingly updated to accommodate modern needs and comfort. The main floor features a spacious living room and open kitchen and dining area. A sleek, leather sectional sofa offers group lounging while a wall-mounted smart TV provides entertainment for casual downtime or family movie nights. The full kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, counters, and a suite of stainless steel appliances for stress-free home cooking. A custom breakfast bar includes seating for six. Full meals can be enjoyed at the dining table with seating for up to six. The bunk room can be found on the main floor, with access to a full bathroom shared with the rest of the house. The second guest room and primary bedroom can be found upstairs, along with a second bathroom and an open, loft-style reading nook. Enjoy family and group fun outside with a selection of yard games available. In the evenings, gather around the firepit for S'mores under the stars. THINGS TO KNOW 4x4 vehicle required in late Nov-April. A queen Murphy bed is available in the upstairs common area. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and convenient location. Very comfortable accommodations. We would love to stay here again. The firepit in the backyard was a wonderful way to close our days.

We are from Vermont but hadn't been back in over ten years. This was a great location for my oldest sons Stowe wedding. Plenty of room. Well laid out. Cabin feel with a modern touches. My only complaint is mattresses and pillows are just awful very hard and absolutely no kitchen. If In were the owner, I would def upgrade those. If that were to happen we love to come back next year.

Location was perfect. Quite, easy access to hiking , and bike trails and Elmore State Park for water activities. House was roomy and comfortable.

Great location, beautiful sunset views!! Very charming cabin with everything you need. The area has so much to offer with state park nearby and close to Stowe and all the activities there. Had a great stay!
