terrible experience. expected the hotel room to be just like the pictures show. room was very dirty, tv did not work, lams were dirty and moldy, there was hair and stuff in the pillows, sigh that the room was not cleaned prior to our stay. the smell was horrible and no soap in the dispensers. do not stay at this place.

Stay was fine but not great. Had to change rooms from non working ac. Then the ac in the second somehow made the entire floor wet from condensation. Remote to the TV did not work.

After reviewing the hotel after the stay, I say I was expecting it to be a bit rough. It wasn't nearly as bad as people claimed. It isn't a 5 star hotel and because of the seawall demand it has its pricing. But all in all it was fair. Cold AC unit, clean room, it isn't quit due to it being a bit older renovation and door unit connections but it's cozy. Krogers is next door and right across the street is the beach. Id recommended to anyone who is looking for a budget. I'm not a complainer now do I live in a mansion with maids but for an average middle class couple who wants to get out for a weekend get away, I'd say it's modest.

First time taking my girls (10 & 16)on a vacation. I read review after review on hotels on the seawall specifically looking for breakfast included and safe area, with somewhat of an ocean view. I was terrified to see the room before we got there due to some of the reviews that were posted. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in! We felt completely safe. The grocery store was right next door practically in the same parking lot and a fishing pier across the street. Air conditioner works great! Not as close to pleasure pier as I thought but not a far drive at all. Stayed 3 nights and no issues at all. The weather wasn’t great so can’t really judge the view. We got the two queen with partial view. Never saw one roach which was surprising with the humidity there. Everyone there was super nice and not crackheads. The elevator is a bit scary at times but never saw my life flash before my eyes lol. Yes the bathtub was a little backed up but after seeing how much sand we tracked in on day one, I’m surprised it wasn’t worse. I watched cleaning people cleaning rooms multiple times a day so I know they are cleaned. We did not ask for cleaning service but if you notify them in the morning they will clean the room. We just asked for extra TP and towels when the cleaning carts went by daily. If you’re used to fancy 5 star hotels, this place probably isn’t for you but for the price, I was very happy with what we got. Got to spend more on having fun and less on the room!
