This was very horrible the room smells horrible and no air conditioner bugs bite and I can’t even sleep no heat I need my money back I will report this to the city if i don’t get my money back

When we arrived at the hotel, the room leys didnt work for the door. We requested a new key and were told we would just have to deal with not having a key. Then i requested a room change to a room where they key works. After the front counter person walked away, we entered the room we were switching out of, to get out of the rain, and found drug paraphenelia (used heroin packaging) on the barh room and hptel room floor. We immediately left the room and requested a refund and to cancel our reservations. We were assured it would be reaolved quickly, and 1 week later, we havent had a response from hotels.com or the wilkes barre inn.

Found a cockroach in the bathroom plus the room was supposed to be non-smoking but yet there was cigarette burns all on the bathtub and also the bed sheet to. Very very filthy place. Its not letting me add the picture here on hotels.com for some reason.

The rooms were very outdated. Curtains had very noticable holes all through them. The bathtub had stains and walls had patches where there use to be holes. Complinary breakfast was a joke. We went down to eat 1hr 15 minutes before breakfast over. There was not much there to eat. Had to ask for napkins and silverware none out. Told when asked about ketchup they were out. The apple juice and orange juice dipensers were giving water vs juice needed replenished. The coffee was awful I had to throw it out. The person over seeing breakfast said they were out of most of there food supply. Breakfast was horrible had to go out and eat. I felt sorry for parent with kids who came in when we were leaving. The accomodations wasnt worth the $88.00 for 1 night.

I was told they were running out of rooms and I’d have one of the last rooms that hasn’t been renovated yet. But, not to worry, it was clean. The bathroom door had what looked like wood glue all over the outside of it and it did not latch. The bottom of the bathtub was stained and there was hair in the corner of the shower wall. I cleaned it as good as I could prior to getting into the shower but as I’m in the shower I’m realizing the water is not draining. I was standing ankle deep in a dirty tub/shower. I think I took the quickest shower of my life, just wanting to get out of someone else’s filth. The walls are paper thin and we could hear every word our neighbors were saying and there were (what appeared to be) drug and/or alcohol addicts hanging around outside. People were loud on the balcony outside our room.

The room was atrocious. Was not clean at all. The blankets had cigarette burns in them even though we got a NON SMOKING room. Also what looked like blood on the comforter on the bed. Thank god we brought our own blankets. The floors were filthy and disgusting hair in the bathtub toilet looked like someone was there before us and ashed their cigarette in the toilet. The ac unit was taken apart and smelled of mildew. I would not recommend anyone I know to stay at this hotel the pictures online are so very deceiving.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Cockroaches, dirty bedding and towels, mold in bathroom, filthy bathtub. It was so bad we needed to leave and could not stay there for one night. The front desk person was also very rude and refused to give refund. He began to feed false information that we stayed at the hotel that night despite having left for a nearby hotel.

This place was not good. We got in late. The guy said if we needed anything to let him know. When we got to the room, there was no toilet paper. There was no phone in the room to call the desk. Tried to call from my cell phone and got no answer. My husband went down to the lobby and rang the desk bell, hollered etc. no one came to help him. He was there for around 15 minutes and never got help. The tub was gross. Only 2 towels for 4 people. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

Not the cleanest hotel around, and the first room we were given, the TV didn’t work and looked like it had been punched. The second room that they exchanged for us, the light in the bathroom didn’t work.

The worst experience and room we ever stayed in. So upset that we stayed here. Bathroom ceiling falling down. Broken bedside lamp I mean broke and outlit didnt work. King sheets had med size visible holes in them.Clear gooey substance on floor around chair. People spitting off upper deck onto parking lot. Kids and adults running in parking lot.No lights to know which was your room dark parking lot. Lock on door so damaged room 107. we had to put chair against door to ensure we were safe.Towels were like sand paper. thin,old, small and abrasive.

They first put us in a second floor room that was dirty as hell. We had to go back and we told the guy that we wanted to leave but he said he could put us in another clean room. It was better needed to do better on the floor it was dirty. Why did they put us in the first room if they had a clean room in the first place?

We travel a lot. This is the worse hotel we ever stayed at. Entire facility needs an upgrade and cleaning. Hopefully Pennsylvania health and safety look at it before someone gets hurt and sick. Degusting!!

Building is not clearly marked (no visible building number or name, aside for name in small letters on the door as you entered the building) extremely hard to locate at night. It’s advertised as no smoking & the room reeked of cigarette smoke.

When we entered our room, we were nearly overcome by the cigarette smoke. It was supposed to be non-smoking. We quickly discovered that there were no towels, and that the toilet didn't work. The desk attendant changed us to another room, but it also had problems. That toilet didn't work well either, and all the light bulbs over the sink area were burned out. I would not go back there again.

Picture on website is very misleading. The place is run down. People living there full time, cars with flat tires in parking lot, smelled of weed. Was worried our bike was not going to be there in the morning. Should have known when expedia wouldn't allow payment at hotel.

You get what you pay for ………. Very basic room and clean. Most of the guests smoke and drink outside their rooms, which is fine. Lots of little kids running around was great. Just know, a much lower end property, but safe and clean

Rusty bathtub bathroom door doesn’t close Wall is dirty Lampshade is yellow from the smoke Mattress is yellowish The pictures on the website showed it was a beautiful room and place . But it wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend other ppl to go there and we won’t be back Couldn’t even stay for the second nite and didn’t get a refund or discount. Room is nasty

Place doesn’t look anything like the pictures. There is mold inside the rooms, the ceiling was peeling off in the washrooms and the bedrooms smelled like weed. We asked to have the room cleaned again but they only sprayed perfume to try to cover the smell of weed. During check in we were told that they’d be cleaning the room between nights but they didn’t. Ended up checking out early and staying at a different hotel.

Both rooms smelled horrible. Bathtub in one had a bunch of stains, and the toilet water was brown. The other room had public hair on the wall and blood stains on the lamp. AC unit was also out in that room. There was a huge pile of garbage on the bottom floor, and kids running around making noise. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Well, I had one lamp in my room, it was very dark. I had ordered dominos pizza and as I was eating a mouse literally jumped onto the night stand and tried to get into my pizza box. Then later on that night I was watching tv listening to the people upstairs scream and holler at eachother when the toilet started flooding out of no where. Had to use all the towels in the room to clean that up. I haven’t even used the toilet! This place definitely gets a 2/5 from me and that’s only because of the easy access to TGI Fridays from the lobby.

Nobody cleaned my room while I was there. The exterior was not kept up. Dirty, Pealing paint, torn and ratty looking curtains. The Exterior door to my room was worped. Lock latch was loose and coming off the door. Some of the other tenants looked as if they were living there permanently. the floors were dirty and the bathtub had something on it that was peeling off of it. Don't stay here. cheap price per night but for what you put up with it isn't worth it.

The flush was not firmly attached to floor. The safety lock on door was broken. The breakfast was not good. Cold coffee very small selection. The room was clean the parking was easy the staff was helpful and served our purpose to get rest.
