Upon arriving , the gentleman was kind and friendly. The room was nice but the tv was somehow disconnected from the back . Beds were confortable, good breakfast too.

Did not get the room I paid for. I had a king suite but got a regular king bed in the room The rooms have been upgraded which is a Hugh difference than before

The breakfast looked good with variety, unfortunately it was all cold, and ran out of syrup, with no one to ask to replace. So we left not eating.

It is an older establishment but was adequate. Room was clean. Outside of building area dirty but may be time of year (snow thaw). Breakfast ok. Quiet.

Older building with some renovations in recent decade but tired overall. Had to ask for line. To make up the sofa bed. Room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Front desk staff was excellent and accommodating. Took care of noise complaints quickly and other issues.

Hotel has been renovated which is nice, because it’s new but the room felt cold and not at all cozy. All flooring in room- yet under bed not clean and we found a Tylenol 3 w codeine on the side chair under the cushion. Also lots of mildew in shower for a “new shower” and the shower floor felt unstable near drain, definitely not installed properly. Bed was not comfortable but okay for one night. We asked for a room not on first floor out of safety for woman and daughter traveling but they couldn’t accommodate us. It wasn’t horrible but it didn’t leave me wanting to return. For one night it was satisfactory. Couldn’t enjoy the complimentary breakfast bc hockey tourney there and line up of kids making waffles and would have taken an hour.

It was better than sleeping outside in January in Barrie. For that I’m grateful. However, overall it was just okay.

Booked two suites and they were pretty inconsistent. One was nicely laid out and seemed more recently painted, cleaned up. The other was dated with odd furnishings, quite a few marks on the walls and small TVs. A small microwave with scorch marks. 😬 Bathrooms had been renovated recently though so that was nice. There were a couple hockey teams and at least one convention so it was very noisy, especially in the hallways at night.

I really liked everything, but holding my deposit for 2 to 3 business days, I didn’t like. I should’ve gotten it back right away.

They mixed up the types of customers. Hockey families in same area as a large group of older guests when there was ample room to spread the two groups apart.

The beds were very comfortable. We had a problem with the heat in the room. It turned off at night time and for some reason decided to come back on and working the next morning but the room was still comfortable enough. Nice hearty breakfast staff were quite friendly and easy to work with. I'll come back

Staff is excellent. Breakfast is the only issue. Eggs are not tasty, potatoes were not hot snd no bacon. Room and stsff were great.

The receptionist who was working on the day I checked in was really unfriendly and less helpful, she should be more welcoming. Other than that, everything was good and so were the rest of the staff and services.

There was a little mold in the bathroom shower but the room itself was nice and large. Comfortable bed, very unintuitive heater, easy parking and check in and check out. Noisy in other rooms and the hall late night (2AM). Towels and bed were clean as well. Breakfast available only until 10, should be at at least 11 for holidays. Would stay again but do not expect luxury.

The Asphalt of the parking lot is terrible and the pillows are way too squishy it hurt my neck when I sleep. The great thing is that the decor, the coffee and the waffles were great!

I’ve never written a review before but I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn hotel in Barrie and I must say, for a 2 star hotel I was very impressed. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable with a large king size bed. The breakfast was a bit early but well worth it as we brought it back to our room. I have no complaints, thank you comfort inn barrie!
