Room smelled of smoke

Staff was rude when I had to get a new keycard after they deactivated my original. The rooms were old and dirty it also smelled of cigarettes. This hotel was definitely the worst I’ve experienced in Charlottesville and I will never come back here.

This is a simple, no frills, kind of place. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the front desk staff were friendly. There was even a light, continental breakfast provided each morning. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Felt unsafe. Had to call police for activity across the street. They allowed people with no transportation to stay. Housekeeping were very nice.

The place was fine for a one night stay as it was clean. Noisy and rather run down and dated. In need of remodeling and a fresh update.

bed was comfortable, pillows were hard as rocks

Very little in the way of breakfast options, but rooms were convenient, economical, and clean.

Overall fine- wasn't expecting much, just needed a quick spot to sleep for a cheap price, and this made the list. Friendly and helpful service. Location was good for visiting UVA .

My card was charged twice, thankfully the lady on night shift handled this for me. There are burnholes in the comforters, the microwave looked to be from over 40 years ago and would not recommend cooking in it. The drawers were broken, and burn marks on the bathtub. However a brand new sink basin and hot water and pressure were good. I left my phone in the room this last saturday and had to return to pick it up. Arrived, my door was wide open, walked in and a guy was holding my tanning goggles and just looked at me when I walked in, did not even put them down and just looked at me, asked them to leave, and they could not understand me, as I do not speak much spanish. Luckily only needed a place to sleep so I could work doubles but would not recommend.

It was fine for a one night stay, however it was a non-smoking room and some of the bed linens had burn holes from cigarettes that was a bit off-putting.

I really liked the price for this room. It's right off the highway which made getting in and out a breeze. Room was clean and well maintained. For $79 I was more than happy with it.

It looks like the bathroom and sink area had been recently remodeled. Very clean and neat. The room was pleasant. Bed was good. Furnishings were contemporary. AC and TV worked well. It even had a microwave and a small fridge. Nice and quiet in the evenings for a good night’s sleep. I was very pleased. Continental breakfast provided. It was the least expensive motel, and was well worth the money. I stayed alone and felt pretty safe in the area. June 2023.

Only two issues. Toilet loose and sink stopper inoperable. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable.

Clerk was very polite and helpful. The room was clean, except for crums where the tv sits on the cabinet. The air conditioning could not be adjusted below 76 degrees F. So after dark I opened the door to cool the room.

When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom looked recently remodeled and everything was spotless. The front staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was better than expected with hot water for oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt and an assortment of breads and bagels. Our microwave and fridge didn't work perfectly but everything important was great. We also enjoyed the nearby Rivanna trail we could walk to from the Econolodge.

Hotel is not in great shape. The rooms r ok but you can hear the people in the room above you just walking around in their room and it sounds like a herd. The bathroom sealing has brown stuff on the ceiling that would drip down if you take any temp of shower. Vent looks like it had not been cleaned in ages. The floor was covered in crumbs from the moment we walked in. To make matters worse is that they demand that u leave your room every three days from them to mandatory clean. Which does not to be helping with the cleanliness. Plus I work night shift and got kicked out for two hours the first time they cleaned. The second time it would have been five hours if I had not gone to the front desk about it. When I got told rudely by the manager that my trash from the last cleaning was too heavy that's why this had to be done. The compromise so that I could sleep to go to work was to let them clean at 10 the next day, and the manager could not even remember to mention this to the maids or that she even talked to me. I was told rudely not to return because I didagreed with her about being kicked out of my room for cleaning, when I need to sleep for work. I took out my own trash the entire stay, their the maids had one bag to take out the whole stay. Don't waste your time or money. Plenty of other hotels in the area.

Owner wanted for me to cage my service dog, she was 'NOT allowed to be free in room.
lF YOU HATE DOGS, THEN PUT THAT ON YOUR WEB SITE I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE BECAUSE MY DOG WAS SITTING OUTSIDE AND OWNER COULD NOT SEE ME SITTING RIGHT THERE. SPEAKING WITH HER.
MORE BUGS INSIDE THAN OUT.
The ADA should be notified. Rescue squad was there twice for same person, lights, sirens, no sleep, yelling, fighting upstairs, with no door lock, i was frightened.

The property was clean and located close to the Expressway, Kroger, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, etc. A variety of places to visit. The gentleman at the front was not rude but also was not friendly.

The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had a very late arrival and they volunteered to move their own car to create parking for me. Above and beyond service!

Loud boom box all evening. Finally reported and office person did take care of it. Then loud noise started above us. Not restful night.
Questionable area.

This motel is pretty run-down for the over $200 cost. Not like the Econolodges I’ve stayed in before, which have had extensive free breakfast. This place just had stale bagels.
