Clean, active, budget hotel with common ammenities.

Hotel was better on this stay. It was less of a musty smell. Overall cleaner and they were shampooing carpets. Pool and hot tub were better temperatures this year.

It’s a great place. The only thing I don’t care for is the wouldn’t accept cash? I don’t understand why anyone in America would say they won’t accept cash payments. Anyway I’m sure there’s a good reason. This property is maintained beautifully. Hats off to the housekeepers & maintenance staff. You guys deserve to be acknowledged

When booking, I had made note that it was our anniversary trip to the UP. When we entered our room, it had rose petals throughout the room, fresh bouquet of flowers, sparkling juice and glasses, pair of chocolate moose heads, and towels made to look like they were kissing on our bed. Totally surprised and greatly appreciated the care and time it had to take Stephanie to do. The room itself was fantastic as was the morning breakfast. Would recommend staying here to anyone that asks, and our dog was able to stay with us too.

The place did not offer a clean fresh feeling

Perfect location for seeing the sights with easy on/off the highway, lots of dining options nearby.

Our room was next to the gym/workout area where a tv was at full blast on the entire night. We thought it was another guest's room, but when we woke up from our poor sleep due to excessive noise throughout the night from the tv my husband figured out it was coming from the gym. Upon check out, I didn't get much of an apology. There is also peeling wallpaper in our room. Everything else was fine, unfortunately for you we won't be staying here again because I expected better customer service than what we got. Moving on.

Very nice stay. The staff was friendly, it was clean and did not smell like indoor pool. Beds where comfortable. The breakfast was good the usual waffles, eggs, sausage etc. I would recommend and stay again.

An older hotel that needs renovation. Clean with good amenities - pool, sauna. Great, convenient location. Typical hotel breakfast.

Property is very old and dated. Old dirty smelly carpeting throughout with wallpaper peeling off the walls and water stained ceilings from roof leaks. Bathroom fixtures are ancient and permanently stained and smelly. Small front desk area but staff are very friendly and helpful. Lobby looks like someone just has thrown bunch of furniture from garage sales of 1950s together. Not on brand at all.

This hotel was a happy place considering some of our previous stays along our trip. The room was clean and orderly. The breakfast was very good and the food items were constantly being refreshed. We did not take advantage of the pool or gym. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and the pool. The staff were smiling, kind and accomodating. Neat and clean place. Lot of options for Breakfast. I highly recommend the place. We will stay again next time we visit Mackinac Island and St. Ignace.

Let me start by saying that I work in hotel management and we booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. Upon our arrival we were told we were on the 2nd floor and no elevator. Now my spouse isn't handicapped to needing a handicap accessible room but it wouldve been nice to know that we would need to make that selection at time of booking to ensure that he wouldn't have to hobble up and down the stairs. Then we found our room stocked with 4 hand towels, 6 wash cloths, and only 2 bath towels and 1 single use bottle each of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion - none of those make sense for a room that's supposed to be able to accommodate 4 people. The tub floor felt like it was going to give out under me when I was showering as though it was not braced during install. The bathroom sink faucet was mounted too far back so we can barely get our hands under the water. Our bedding had obviously not been changed since the previous guest because there were fresh stains that smelled of baby formula on the linens from one bed. Luckily we bring our own bedding for instances like this. Lastly, there was a large group/family staying on our floor whose kids kept running up and down the hallways, yelling/screaming, and kicking/knocking on our door and the adjoining walls to our room until 2am.

The hotel was fine but outdated and dingy. It smells very musty and moldy I assume do to the indoor pool and hot tub. I would NOT want to say on the south side of the building closer to the pool. Room was not as clean as I would like. Lots of dust and had some dirt on our sheets from the popcorn ceiling falling onto the sheets. However, they have free popcorn and cookies. Breakfast was good for free. Coffee/water/hot tea is also free and around all day. Pool/hot tub was clean but needs to attention. Sauna was good and hot. Beds and pillows were nice and comfortable for our party.

Beds comfy. Not enough outlets for all the family devices. Breakfast pretty basic-wasn’t all that good-biscuits hard.

Not far from the bridge, but not near downtown. Room was clean but had a funky smell. Bed was comfortable. There is no elevator just stairs to the second floor. Breakfast was very sparse so don’t book here for the breakfast. It’s just a place to sleep and get cleaned up for the next days adventure. Don’t think I would book here again, though.

Everything was just as advertised- good clean room with a comfortable bed for a decent price.
