I called the Hotel earlier in the evening to inform them that I was stuck in traffic at highway 5 at the Grapevine and that I would be arriving around 1-2:00 am due to being in traffic for 3.5 hours and asked that my reservation not be canceled. I was told not to worry. I spent 4.5 hours in traffic and was very tired when I reached Lebec, CA because I had 6.5 hours of chemo the day before. I decided to get a room in Bakersfield to spend the night and @11:55 pm I called the hotel to inform them that I would be checking in the next day. this time I was told that my reservation had been canceled because I didn’t check in on time. I called Hotels.com and explained the situation to the representative. He talked to the hotel manager and was able to get them to waive the one night charge for not checking in on time. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel chain.

Everything was pretty good. Only item of note was the HVAC unit in the room. It was pretty loud. I will say that style of HVAC unit is used in many hotels and they are all loud. There are some that are much better!

very disappointed, had already paid, arrived approximately 11:30 pm, was told facility is cashless, unable to provide credit card for incidentals, general manager told me they would cancel my reservation and I could go elsewhere, WORD TO ALL, they should have advised prior to acceptance of reservation, nothing posted of policy, additionally when i did use credit card, required to insert, NO RECEIPT PROVIDED, who knows how much or what they are doing with credit, attempted to give cash they refused, i have used and enjoyed many La Quita in the past, upon checkout they couldn't provide me receipt with zero balance, general manager unavailable. . on the plus side, check in gentleman great, breakfast great....will find another hotel next time, waiting for GM response...

I wasnt expecting much of this hotel but it surpassed our expectations. Quick, friendly staff when we arrive at 10:30pm. Breakfast was pretty good. The room was just perfect. I'd book there again for sure.

Awesome stay at La Quinta. Spacious and comfortable room. Very clean. Housekeeping always on task. Staff pleasant and nice. Nice breakfast with a variety of food. Cleanliness 10/10. Plenty of parking spaces. Hotel is central, close to major freeways, San Jose airport, downtown San Jose, restaurants, malls, etc.....Quiet and safe neighborhood. 10/10 recommend.

This was our go because you’re able to leave your car there at no cost this time we were notified there was a charge was not mentioned when we scheduled the room. It was complete surprise. It must be under new ownership since our last day because the people weren’t as friendly and cheerful they were like quick and let’s get it down, we will be looking for another place to stay. It’s just not the same as it was. I understand there could be a charge for parking but it must be brought to your attention not hello. Also there’s this charge for you. Thanks for the memories bye

Property seemed nice on the outside, had issues with things in room not working, housekeeping not regularly done, had maintenance walk in on me a few times, water was shut off for hours. I would not go back to this place.

Room was nice. Pretty clean except for a few spots I noticed on the mirror. No big deal. Bed was comfortable and room was big. Had coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Price was good and right off the freeway. Free breakfast! Only complaint is kind of noisy because walls are thin. I can hear people upstairs and next to my room.

The king size bed was SO high off the floor I had to jump up on it. I'm 84. Not easy. It was also uncomfortably hard. I think the hotel needs new mattresses. I was there for 2 nights; got no housekeeping service, not even new coffee service. If the hotel's policy is no service for a 2 night stay, then please leave enough coffee pods for both nights.

My room was clean and had more than enough space for one traveler. And, it was cleaned without me asking, which was a plus, I guess. Some of the staff in the lobby were not so friendly or attentive. The restaurant was closed the day I arrived and was told it would be open the following day, but it was not. The coffeemaker in my room did not work, and neither did the TV remote. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they didn't seem too eager to remedy the situation. I chose this hotel because it was less expensive than other hotels near the airport, but I would not stay here again.

I liked the front desk concierge. I did not like the bug that was wiggling on the floor when I walked in. It was big, brown and alive. My husband stepped on it. During the night the location we were in was extremely noisy due to the other guests late arriving conversations.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. We appreciate the friendliness of the staff and the convenience of an airport shuttle at 5am. Room was nice and comfortable, and shower has nice pressure. When we arrived there was no coffee available in the lobby, but it was available when we were leaving. Because it was a short stay we didn't get a chance to try out other amenities, but will definitely consider staying here again.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was quite hearty and the facilities were in pretty good shape. My only issue was that the our room’s sink and bathroom are separate which I never like when traveling with a companion. Had I known that I would have sprung for another room. I always prefer sink, bathroom and shower all in the same room.

Clean facility. Staff very good. Driver very nice and good conversation to the airport; very nice man. Shuttle to the airport right on time. Dining choice was Burger King. Your online site says restaurant. I thought it would be in the hotel. very misleading.
